Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr. Introduce
The Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr., located at 3296 Summit Ridge Pkwy #1720, Duluth, GA 30096, USA, operates within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, offering legal services to local users. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on publicly available client testimonials, focusing on the environment, services, features, and promotional information, or lack thereof, as perceived by clients.
Regarding the environment, the provided information does not offer specific details about the physical office space or atmosphere of the Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr. Therefore, an objective assessment of the firm's environment cannot be made based solely on the given reviews. However, the operational environment, in terms of client interaction and communication, can be inferred from the feedback. One client's experience points to a lack of clear communication and updates, indicating an environment that may not prioritize proactive client engagement. The interaction involving a refund request and the subsequent offer conditioned on a non-disparagement agreement further suggests an environment where client satisfaction issues are handled through legal stipulations rather than immediate resolution and transparency. This creates a perception of an environment that might be more concerned with legal protection for the firm than with fostering an open and trust-based relationship with clients.
The services offered by the Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr., as gleaned from the client reviews, appear to include handling traffic citations, such as driving with a suspended license and excessive window tint, and personal injury cases, specifically a motor vehicle accident involving a DUI driver. In the traffic citation case, the client was quoted a fee of $1,300.00 for the attorney's services. In the personal injury context, the firm handled a case stemming from an August 2014 accident that concluded in April 2017. The client expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of this personal injury case, particularly regarding the amount of money received and the firm's inability to negotiate effectively with the hospital for medical payments. This suggests that while these services are offered, the perceived effectiveness and client satisfaction with these services, at least in the instances provided, are significantly low.
Key features of the Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr., as described by the client reviews, include certain billing practices and the role of specific personnel. A recurring point of contention is the firm's billing practices. One client explicitly states that no contract outlining the scope of services was provided, nor was hourly billing explained upfront. Later, upon requesting a refund, an invoice was provided detailing attorney services billed at $250.00 per hour and non-attorney staff work at $125.00 per hour. The client raised concerns about "questionable charges," specifically citing 2.9 hours billed for brief text-based communications with case manager Robert Kwon, which the client asserted did not amount to that much billable time. This highlights a significant concern regarding the transparency and fairness of the firm's billing. Another notable feature is the involvement of case manager Robert Kwon, who is mentioned as the primary contact for updates and document submission. However, a client's experience with Mr. Kwon was marked by a "lack of communication and progress." Attorney Kennon Peebles, Jr. became directly involved only after a complaint and a threat to report to the Georgia State Bar. This suggests a potential disconnect in client communication, where initial interactions through non-attorney staff may lead to dissatisfaction before attorney intervention.
From a promotional standpoint, the provided information reveals a stark contrast between typical legal service promotion and the actual client experience. While law firms typically aim to promote their expertise and client satisfaction, the direct client feedback here serves as a powerful counter-narrative. One client's stark warning, "EVERYONE DO NOT USE THIS FIRM’S SERVICES! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND PREDATORY," serves as a direct deterrent rather than a promotion. The criticisms extend to the firm's professionalism and ethical standards, particularly concerning billing transparency and responsiveness. The offer of a 50% refund conditional on signing a non-disparagement agreement is also a strong indicator of an attempt to manage negative publicity rather than promoting positive client relations. The extended duration of a personal injury case (August 2014 to April 2017) and the client's regret over engaging the firm ("I really am regretting that I have met him") also contradict any positive promotional messaging. These reviews, therefore, act as highly impactful, albeit negative, promotional information for local users researching "Nearby Lawyers," offering cautionary insights into potential engagements with the Law Office Of Kennon Peebles, Jr. The phone numbers provided, (470) 395-4427 and +1 470-395-4427, serve as contact points for potential clients, but the existing public feedback suggests that prospective clients should proceed with considerable caution and conduct thorough due diligence, including requesting clear contracts and detailed billing explanations upfront.

If I could give 0 stars I would give them 0 stars. On February 2, 2025, I submitted documents to case manager Robert Kwon regarding my citations for driving with a suspended license and excessive window tint. Mr. Kwon informed me that the attorney's services would cost $1,300.00 to handle my case. However, no contract was provided outlining the scope of the law firm's services nor was I informed I would be billed on an hourly basis. After taking my fees, the office did not explain what they would do to help my case. As my court date was approaching for my ticket, I followed up with Mr. Kwon on February 05, 2025 to check the status of my case but received no clear updates. Due to the lack of communication and progress, I requested a refund on February 16, 2025. Mr. Kwon refused, prompting me to inform him that I would report the matter to the Georgia State Bar. Shortly after, attorney Kennon Peebles, Jr. contacted me, offering to refund 50% of the $1,300.00 on the condition that I sign an agreement not to "disparage" their law firm. I then requested a breakdown of the fees justifying why the full amount was not being refunded. Mr. Peebles provided an invoice stating that attorney services were billed at $250.00 per hour while non-attorney staff work was billed at $125.00 per hour. Upon reviewing the invoice, I noticed several questionable charges. Fore example, I was billed for 2.9 hours of communication with case manager Mr. Kwon, despite our interactions being brief and primary via text, consisting mostly of me requesting case updates. I am certain our communication did not amount to 2.9 hours of billable time, raising concerns about the firm's billing practices and ethical standards. On February 21, 2025, I gave the law office a final opportunity to return my money in exchange for not reporting the issue to the State Bar of Georgia. They refused to issue a refund. EVERYONE DO NOT USE THIS FIRM’S SERVICES! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND PREDATORY.
I have got an accident on August 2014, and the case finally ended on April 2017. If you are patient enough and have a lot of time, go ahead and discuss with them. I was hit by dui driver, which can be considered as a how easy to win and earn money, however I still cannot understand how they could not make me enough money and they cannot really discuss with the hospital for my medical payment. As a result, they could not even make money they promised me whan the case began. I really am regreting that I have met him, the assistant, Robert Kwon, in my church for the first time in my life I got an severe accident like this.

I will start by going straight to the point. If you’re loaded with too much money and if your dream is to be incarcerated for a minor misdemeanor charge then you should definitely retain this law firm. Not only do you get to spend a lot of money you get to be treated in a most condescending manner by the “Office Administrator” and also get to vacation in a real jail. I’m going to write in 2 parts, 1 for the attorney Kennon Peebles, and 1 for the “Office Administrator” Robert Kwon. If you don’t have much time nor the patience to read my whole review, I recommend just going straight to the 2nd part regarding the “Office Administrator” Robert Kwon. First, the Attorney Peebles : He met the prosecutor/solicitor for the first time at the court hearing and was told that the solicitor is seeking a real jail time which he responded by just postponing the court hearing date for 1 month later. Although he had additional 1 month to prepare for the postponed court hearing he again showed up without any preparation. And obviously he was told the same thing about seeking real jail time by the solicitor so he asked for the postponement again. Now 2nd postponement and his confidence of claiming that he will get my case dismissed seemed to be all gone. In our first meeting, Peebles strongly claimed that he can and will get my misdemeanor charge be dismissed. The most disappointing thing was his action of trying to make a deal with me instead of making a deal or at least talking with the prosecuting office, he asked what if jail time was half of a month, how many days I would say OK to, etc., What kind attorney did like that! Secondly, the “Office Administrator” Robert Kwon : The incompetence of the attorney Peebles is not as big of a problem compared to his office administrator, Robert Kwon’s attitude and demeanor. As mentioned in other reviews, the way he treats his clients is worse than you can imagine. At first he will make you think he might be an associate attorney, but you will find out that he’s just an office administrator only after you look at his business card. As soon as you engage in few conversations regarding your case it becomes mystery how some one with such impolite, actually “bitchy” attitude can work as an office administrator. The pretentious and condescending way of talking to you is one thing, to a question if he will come to the court (keep in mind I’ve basically talked to him mostly and talked to Peebles only once, and didn’t quiet understand his position, etc,) he said he comes if I pay separate extra fee for him and said other clients usually do so. According to what he said, he probably earns much more than the Attorney Peebles. After the 1st hearing when the 1st postponement was made I’ve even paid more (stupid me thought more money meant they will pay more attention to my case), but I’ve realized I just couldn’t rely on their office when I didn’t get any call backs till just 1 day prior to the actual hearing date. How can he be only available on the phone when payment was being made then for nearly a month till the hearing date no contact was feasible what so ever. So on the 1st postponed hearing date, when Peebles got 2nd postponement, as soon as I got out of the Court, I’ve fired him and hired another attorney. My new attorney got in contact with the prosecuting office within 4 days and my case got officially dismissed. If you need an attorney just google, you can just google search a “super lawyer”. The amount of money you would spend in using a “super lawyer” is same as how much you would end up spending, if you retain a law office of Kennon Peebles. Incompetence for that much amount of money is fraud!

This is an ambulance chasing type law office. They try to milk money from insurance company and those insured with uncreditable law suits thats. This "lawyer" Keenon, came on my property without a warrant demanding to speak with my son who was involved in an car accident that resulted in his client admitting to the police officer that there was no damage to their car, that their was no injury to any one in the car, and refused any medical treatment. Now more than 6 months later they are trying to sue my son and the insurance company for damages to their car, for medical treatment that they claim were from the accident. The facts of the claim are false, the accident was a result of their car being bumped from behind from a car rolling less than 5 mph from a turning lane at a light when the client stopped. The fact is that the client is a family member of the Keenon's partner and he is just out for money not for what is right or wrong when their client is clearly fabricating the accident because this law office has made up a new story. Stay clear of this ambulance chasing law office. State Farm attorney's are going to have a field day with this one when they get to court, if it ever gets to court.
