Law Office of Kaye M Alderman Introduce

Welcome to the profile of the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman, a legal practice located in Lufkin, Texas, serving the local community. Situated at 104 S 2nd St, Lufkin, TX 75901, USA, the office is a point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance in the region. For local users in Lufkin and surrounding areas browsing under the category of 'Nearby Lawyers,' the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman offers legal services, with publicly available feedback providing insights into client experiences.

While specific details about the physical environment of the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman are not extensively described online, it is typical for a law office to maintain a professional and accessible setting for client consultations. Located on South Second Street in Lufkin, the office likely provides a space where individuals can discuss their legal needs with privacy. The accessibility of the location would be a factor for local residents seeking nearby legal counsel.

Based on the available customer reviews, the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman appears to handle family law matters. One positive review mentions the staff's patience and effectiveness in helping with family issues and expresses a willingness to be a return customer for future legal needs. This suggests that the firm has provided satisfactory service in at least some family law cases, potentially including divorce, child custody, or other related matters. The positive feedback also highlights the helpfulness of the staff, which can be a significant aspect of a client's overall experience with a law firm.

However, another review presents a significantly contrasting experience. This review strongly advises against using this lawyer, citing concerns about high costs and perceived lack of effective service. The reviewer mentions being charged a high hourly rate ($500) and alleges that the lawyer frequently indicated that certain actions were unaffordable. Furthermore, this client claims that "loose ends" were left on their final divorce decree despite paying a substantial amount ($50,000), potentially necessitating the hiring of another attorney to resolve outstanding financial issues with their ex-spouse. This negative feedback raises serious concerns about the firm's cost-effectiveness and the thoroughness of their legal representation in at least one instance.

Considering these two reviews, the services offered by the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman appear to include:

  • Family Law: This is explicitly mentioned in the positive review, suggesting representation in matters such as divorce, child custody, and other family-related legal issues.
  • Divorce: The negative review specifically pertains to a divorce case, indicating that this is an area of practice for the firm.
  • Potential for Referrals: The positive review mentions a "great referral," suggesting that the office may also provide referrals to other legal professionals when necessary or appropriate.

The features of the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman, based on the limited and conflicting feedback, present a mixed picture. On one hand, the staff is described as patient and effective in at least some family law matters. On the other hand, a significant concern is raised regarding the high cost of services, with an alleged hourly rate of $500, and the potential for unresolved issues even after substantial fees are paid. The negative review also suggests a lack of perceived value for the cost, stating that the lawyer is "no better than any other lawyer" despite the higher fees.

Regarding promotional information, there are no specific promotions or unique service offerings mentioned in the provided reviews. The positive review, while not a promotion, could be seen as an unsolicited positive endorsement of the staff's helpfulness in family law cases. However, the strong negative review serves as a significant counterpoint, suggesting that potential clients should exercise caution and perhaps seek further information or consider alternative legal representation.

For local users in Lufkin, Texas, who are searching for 'Nearby Lawyers' for family law or divorce matters, the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman, located on South Second Street, is a local option. However, the publicly available reviews present a cautionary tale. While one client found the staff patient and effective in family issues, another client experienced significant dissatisfaction with the high costs and alleged unresolved issues in a divorce case. Potential clients should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences. The claim of a $500 hourly rate and the accusation of leaving "loose ends" in a divorce decree after substantial payment are serious concerns that warrant thorough consideration and potentially further investigation before engaging the services of this law office.

In conclusion, the Law Office of Kaye M Alderman in Lufkin, TX, appears to handle family law and divorce cases. Feedback regarding the firm is mixed, with one client praising the staff's helpfulness in family matters, while another strongly criticizes the high costs and the quality of service received in a divorce case. Local users seeking legal assistance in these areas should be aware of this contrasting feedback and consider it carefully when making their decision about legal representation. The alleged high hourly rate and the claim of unresolved issues despite significant fees are particularly important factors for potential clients to consider.

Dont use this lawyer. She will tell you every time you ask her to do something that you can’t afford her to do anything at 500 an hour. They left loose i ends on my final degree. After paying her 50000 . I Will proble have to hire another lawyer to get my money from my ex. Don’t waste your time or money on this lady. Alderman cost to much and is no better than any other lawyer.

I live 3 hours from their office. I made an appointment days in advance at the only time they had available which was 10am. The person who set the appointment made me hold while she checked fora conflict of interest. I arrived on time and was told by the receptionist that they didn't notice a conflict of interest and I could not be seen. This is very poor business practice and should speak to potential clients about their ability to be thorough in their representation. I wouldn't recommend this law firm.

I used this law firm for a custody battle for my son. This is the first law firm I have worked with that actually got in and did the research and put in the time. Kaye and Maria took what was almost a hopeless case and ended up winning. I was awarded sole custody. They treat me like family and genuinely care about their clients. I’ve used attorneys and courts in 3 states during this custody battle and they are hands down the best I have ever used.
