I dont know what your situation is and im keeping my name hidden for privacy reasons but this guy isaac choy saved my life literally. At first i thought he wasnt doing his job but he was i was just too impatient. Its a slow process. Dont trick yourself being impatient. I had a case in 2019 and the only deal was 7 years 4 month and 4 felonies including a california strike. I got him as a panel attorney and he saved my life. Lets fast forward to sentencing. We did not file a romero motion and he got me 2 felonies no strike no prison time and a county year all of which i served on ankle monitor. I think i did about 88 days total in the main jail maybe less but that was prior to him actually starting the work on my case. In the beginning i felt like he was ignoring me but hes just like that. He works like that but he WAS working to help me and for me and i couldnt have asked for a better outcome or attorney. Let him work for you. Its going to take some time because theirs so many california cases. I hope your end result is as good as mine

He is an amazing attorney. He went above and beyond on my felony criminal charges and made sure they were dismissed, soon could stay home with my kids . Not to mention he was my panel attorney I have never seen someone go above and beyond as a panel lawyer like he did . I am deeply grateful for his services . If I could give him ten stars I would . Highly knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with and always kept me in the loop .

Never pay up front for uncompleted work. Once he received the full pay, his interest in the case was nonexistent. He did absolutely nothing for 10 months. Didn't even show up for court on one occasion. It was not until I asked about moving forward that the case was pushed to trial. I could have represented the case better than this guy. Nonaggressive, unprepared, weak questioning. Appeared to simply not care and even told my husband to just fire him. Joked with the DA and never made an attempt to fight for a plea deal. Huge waste of money on a limited experienced attorney that didn't do any more than a public defender. Don't let him fool you. Update: the attorney's response is a false statement. I never filed charges nor pursued any prosecution in this case. As it was a DV case, the DA filed charges against my will. I had no say. If I was trying to put my husband in prison for life, I don't think I would have paid out of my own pocket for two different attorneys to fight his case. Nice try to cover your own incompetence Isaac. I also never got the itemized invoice on a so called legal expert that was never used.

amazing, spectacular i was awestruck when the morning of court he tells me the offer he had negotiated even after i had agreed to accept a low term prison sentence at our last meeting , standing in as an appointed panel attorney ,he easily could have closed the file , so as i was preparing to accept 16months W/parole, Isaac comes to see me , to inform me that he had done a bit more negotiating and the new deal was two 90day commitments ran concurrent with stipulated non searchable informal probation. which is almost unheard of. Now isaac may not" pat your hand" or "dry your tears" for you, and albeit he is a "man of few words" but Isaac choy has gone above and beyond what one could hope or expect an attorney to do . in fact i have dismissed the public defenders office in my current case and retained him as a private attorney and though i could never dream of paying him what he has already been worth to me he has allowed me to retain him and has been understanding and generous with his service representing me. when he said he would take the case it was like this huge weight of impending doom was lifted from my shoulders , dark clouds turned to sunshine ,,,yep Isaac choy jr. turns your dark skies into sunshine, In lieu of my past experience with Isaac theres no other attorney i would feel more confident or more at ease representing me as i move forward in my present case.

Didn’t show up to court most of the time. Later found out he called out to play softball and other activities with his buddies. Then he died on me. Very unprofessional.
