It is advisable to contact the office directly to inquire about their expertise in your particular legal need, whether it involves property transactions, drafting legal documents, resolving disputes, or other legal matters.

Features of a law office can include the attorney's experience, their approach to client communication, their fees, and their track record. Based on the limited information available, specifically the customer reviews, some potential features and considerations emerge. One reviewer described Benjamin B. Cooper as "a smart attorney," suggesting a level of legal knowledge. However, this positive initial impression was overshadowed by concerns regarding consistency and a perceived "condescending demeanor." The reviewer also noted instances of the attorney being unresponsive or unavailable during crucial moments, which are significant factors for clients seeking reliable representation.

Another review detailed a negative experience related to a condo purchase. Key issues raised included an alleged unwillingness to negotiate with the other party regarding inspection findings, unexpected extra fees at closing without clear explanation, and delays in providing essential documents like the title and deed. This review paints a picture of potential challenges in communication, transparency regarding fees, and diligence in completing post-closing tasks. These are critical features that prospective clients typically evaluate when choosing a lawyer.

Promotional information usually highlights the strengths and unique selling points of a service. In the absence of explicit promotional content provided, we must rely on an objective interpretation of the available information, including the customer reviews. The fact that the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper has a physical presence in Ramsey, NJ, could be seen as a benefit for local residents seeking in-person consultations and a neighborhood lawyer. The provided phone numbers offer direct lines of communication. However, the customer reviews present a mixed picture that potential clients should carefully consider.

Objectivity is crucial when evaluating any service provider, and the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper is no exception. While one reviewer acknowledged the attorney's apparent intelligence, both reviews highlight significant concerns regarding client service, communication, and billing practices. These firsthand accounts offer valuable insights into potential challenges that future clients might encounter. It is important for individuals seeking legal representation to weigh these experiences alongside any potential benefits of choosing a local lawyer.

When searching for Nearby Lawyers, local users prioritize accessibility, clear communication, and effective representation. The reviews suggest that while the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper is physically accessible in Ramsey, there might be areas where client expectations regarding communication and service delivery have not been consistently met. The mention of an unexplained extra fee is particularly concerning, as transparency in billing is a fundamental aspect of a trustworthy attorney-client relationship.

Furthermore, the difficulty in obtaining the title and deed after closing, as reported by one client, raises questions about the efficiency of administrative processes within the office. For individuals purchasing property, these documents are critical, and delays can cause significant stress and inconvenience. The advice from one reviewer to consider other attorneys in the area underscores the importance of thorough research and due diligence when selecting legal counsel.

In conclusion, the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper offers legal services from a physical location in Ramsey, NJ. While the attorney may possess legal knowledge, the available customer reviews raise concerns about consistency in service, communication, transparency in billing, and administrative efficiency. For local users in the Nearby Lawyers category, it is recommended to consider these points carefully and potentially seek further information or explore other options to ensure their legal needs are met with professionalism and satisfactory client service.

Prospective clients might want to consider contacting the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper directly to discuss their specific legal needs and address any concerns arising from the reviews. Asking about their areas of expertise, fee structure, communication protocols, and client service practices can help individuals make a more informed decision. Additionally, seeking recommendations from other local residents or consulting online resources for alternative attorneys in the Ramsey and Bergen County area could provide a broader perspective on available legal services.

Ultimately, choosing the right lawyer is a significant decision that can impact the outcome of your legal matter. While local presence can be advantageous, it is essential to ensure that the attorney also provides competent, reliable, and transparent service. The feedback from previous clients, even if limited, offers valuable insights that should be taken into account when making this important choice within the Nearby Lawyers category.

Ben seems to be a smart attorney but he is inconsistent and has a condescending demeanor. I regretted working with Ben after my second meeting. He sighed when I asked questions and disappeared at times when counter part attorney pressed. Unfortunately that's when I needed him most. felt stuck with him because I didn't want to miss my closing date. In hindsight, probably should.have switched. Live and learn.

Do not use Ben Cooper. We recently used him for a very simple purchase of a condo. After inspection, he would not talk to the other side about fixing some issues, told us and our real estate broker to work it out with the other side ourselves. At the closing, he charged us an extra fee in addition to his quoted retainer and could not explain what the extra fee was for. We walked away from the closing wishing we had used the other side’s attorney. We didn’t have any representation at the closing but it was too late to change attorneys at that point. After the closing, he did not provide the title and deed, we had to continually push him for it. Do not use him, there are so many other attorneys available.

Ben and Beth have helped my mother and I through the purchasing of two homes and the sale of two homes, as well as deed changes. They have never been anything short of professional and attentive to our needs. Although these life changes can be stressful, Ben had a way of easing us through the process. I would definitely recommend him!

Ben was pleasant, thorough and professional. As first time home buyers we were nervous going into the process but he made it seamless and easy, and answered all our questions. He was always easily accessible via email or phone. Definitely recommend him!

In general, I felt the lawyer wasn't working in my best interests but just pushing the paperwork through. Milestones came and went and I needed to call for updates. I eventually closed on the house and just found out that the chimney is a safety hazard and doesn't comply with code standards. This was provided in the chimney report to the lawyer but was not flagged by the lawyer. There are plenty of lawyers out there so why even risk it..... find one that cares.
