For individuals seeking "Nearby Lawyers," the physical proximity and ease of access to a legal office are frequently crucial factors. Being situated in such an accessible area can be beneficial for clients who prefer in-person consultations and require convenient travel to their attorney's office.
For communication, Lamborn Richard D can be reached via phone at (718) 292-4858, with a mobile phone number also provided as +1 718-292-4858. The provision of both numbers suggests a commitment to accessibility for clients, allowing them to make initial inquiries or follow up on ongoing matters. In the fast-paced environment of legal services, readily available contact methods are a fundamental expectation for clients looking for reliable legal representation, especially in the "Nearby Lawyers" context where immediate local assistance might be sought.
While the overall scope of services offered by Lamborn Richard D is not exhaustively detailed, the provided customer review offers significant insight into a specific area of practice: immigration law, particularly regarding employment-based visas and potentially green cards. The review describes a scenario where the client sought assistance for obtaining a working visa in the U.S. This strongly suggests that Lamborn Richard D has experience or at least has previously engaged in cases involving U.S. immigration processes for non-residents.
The core of the provided information about Lamborn Richard D comes from a detailed and unequivocally negative client review. This review, from a client who engaged the lawyer between 2011 and 2012, outlines a highly unsatisfactory experience. The client paid $2000 for services related to obtaining a working visa. A major point of contention was the lawyer's alleged reluctance to communicate and provide updates on the process. The client states, "The lawyer was very reluctant to keep me posted on the process. Every few weeks I had to call just to find that nothing happened and had to push him to do anything." This suggests a significant lack of proactive communication, which is often a critical element of client satisfaction in legal representation.
Furthermore, the review highlights issues with the lawyer's knowledge and diligence. The client had forewarned the lawyer about potential issues with their education documents, but "He didn't care about it." The client also had to actively prompt the lawyer to send documents for evaluation and even had to find an evaluation agency themselves, as the lawyer "didn't even know any." This specific detail raises concerns about the lawyer's familiarity with the procedural aspects and resources necessary for immigration cases. Ultimately, the evaluation revealed the documents were insufficient for a working visa, which the client implies could have been identified earlier if proper diligence had been exercised.
The review concludes with a strong sense of disappointment and financial loss. The client states, "The lawyer promised me to try to find other ways but NEVER contacted me after that." This indicates a failure to follow through on commitments and a complete breakdown in communication post-unfavorable evaluation. The client's assertion, "He could've told me that we could've applied for a green card through employment but he never did. I assume he didn't even know it could've been done and never tried to find out," points to a perceived lack of comprehensive legal advice and exploration of alternative avenues for immigration. The review culminates in a harsh assessment: "I was extremely dissapointed. Not only I lost my money but also wasted my time and opportunities. He was absolutely illiterate." This feedback underscores a severe dissatisfaction with the lawyer's competency and professional conduct in this specific case.
When considering Lamborn Richard D in the context of "Nearby Lawyers," this singular, detailed review provides crucial insights. It suggests that while the lawyer may engage in immigration law, the experience described raises significant questions about communication, proactive case management, and comprehensive legal knowledge in that specific area. For potential clients, particularly those seeking assistance with complex immigration matters where diligence and thorough advice are paramount, this review indicates a need for careful consideration and potentially further independent verification of the lawyer's current practices and track record. It is important to note that this is one client's experience from over a decade ago, and current practices may differ. However, in the absence of more recent or diverse feedback, this review stands as the primary publicly available assessment of the firm's service quality.
In terms of promotional information, based solely on the provided data, there is no direct promotional content from Lamborn Richard D. However, any law firm operating in the "Nearby Lawyers" category would typically aim to promote its accessibility, experience, and successful outcomes. Given the nature of the provided review, any promotional efforts from Lamborn Richard D would ideally need to address or counter the concerns raised, perhaps by highlighting more recent positive client experiences, demonstrating improved communication protocols, or emphasizing successful outcomes in immigration cases. Without such counter-information, the current public perception, as informed by the provided review, would likely be one of caution for potential clients seeking immigration legal services.

I had an unsuccessful business with this lawyer in 2011-2012. At that time I wasn't a resident of the US and was looking for a way to get my roots here in a company. I found a company that agreed to open a working visa for me, but I had to find a lawyer. My friend suggested going to him. I paid this lawyer $2000: $1000 was for initial process, and the rest of the money I decided to pay upfront. The lawyer was very reluctant to keep me posted on the process. Every few weeks I had to call just to find that nothing happened and had to push him to do anything. In the very begining I let him know that my education documents might have not complied with the law. He didn't care about it. After 5 months I made him send my docs to an evaluation egency. He didn't even know any; I had to find one. When we get the results of my evaluation it was clear that my docs weren't good enough to get a working visa. The lawyer promised me to try to find other ways but NEVER contacted me after that. He could've told me that we could've applied for a green card through employment but he never did. I assume he didn't even know it could've been done and never tried to find out. I was extremely dissapointed. Not only I lost my money but also wasted my time and opportunities. He was absolutely illiterate.
