I had a pretty frustrating experience with this law firm. I first worked with Alexandra Roberts. We discussed a continuance, but when the other side brought motions in court, she agreed to them without even talking to me first. When I reached out to express how upset I was, she eventually stopped responding to my emails. After that, she also refused to file anything to ask the judge to change what had already been agreed to—even though I requested it. Later, I started working with Michael D. LoPrete. At first, communication seemed a bit better, but the same problems popped up. Emails went unanswered, important updates were hard to get, and we had a mediation scheduled that he canceled last minute without much explanation. He also wouldn't file a motion to challenge the earlier decisions, despite my repeated requests. I had read some early Google reviews that mentioned issues like this, but I assumed they were one-off cases. Unfortunately, my experience was very similar. In both situations, I felt like the attorneys made decisions without properly involving me, which added unnecessary steps and complexity to the case. If you're looking for a lawyer who keeps you informed, actually listens, and truly advocates for your interests—I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I had an employer CLC referral. I called and left three messages over the course of several days before receiving a return call from a receptionist. She advised it would cost $150 to speak with the attorney. I advised her I had a CLC referral and the consult was free through them. She said she would confer with the attorney. I never received a call back. I notified CLC and went with a competent attorney outside of their network.
