We hired Richard King and his associates to help us cancel a real estate contract after we found ourself in a stalemate — our buyers refused to purchase the property as agreed or cancel the contract and then raised their own dispute which involved riparian rights and ownership of long existing boat slips associated with our private residential street. The case raised seemed frivolous, and turned out to be so, but not without a long and drawn out back and forth with the other party. While the case proved extremely long and frustrating, Richard and Marisa maintained their focus and persisted to move things along even in the face of procrastination and lack of action on the part of the other party. They proactively progressed the case and their knowledge, understanding and steadfast support of the issues and our position were key. In the end, their original argument was accepted two years (and many rescheduled court dates and re-submissions to the court) after the fact without dispute or need for a formal court case.
