• The year 2024-2025 has been very stressful by far! If I could give Kerri Cleghorn a 10 outta 5 stars I would! She is the true definition of a hard working BOSS lady, she represented a relative on very serious felony charges, as we know homicide cases can be tough to beat especially in Wisconsin! From the very begining until the end she was clear on every possible outcome and she never gave up, she kept clear communication by phone or email throughout this stressful process going back and forth to court! She is very knowledgeable on laws and Wisconsin statues and she answered every single question I had. She also has a great assistant TODD, and he also kept up-to-date with everything, I spoke with him quite a few times he is a great addition. Thank you Kerri we love you and we thank you and this whole process taught us allot. Yeah, the jury aquitted all charges case dismissed! Jusice can prevail. -Tionna 4/20/25
• All the negative reviews is irrelevant but Kerri cleghorn represented me recently on some serious felony charges, and I just wanted to say she is spectacular at her job, she did allot of work behind the sense for my case, every court date she showed up ready and exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much I am thankful everyday. Acquitted on all charges 3/02/2025 walked out a free man.
• I would give a 0 if i could. Do Not waste your money. I hire attorney cleghorn for a divorce case, 1st of all: communication is terrible. I called her office and sent emails, no answer. I went weeks without hearing from her. Few days before hearing, she ll contact me and pretend to hear me out. 2nd- didn’t do much about the case: would not fight for your interests and certainly would not refund you for not doing anything on your case. 3- Was absent during my hearing and 2 months later no word from her about the case. What’s the point of having an attorney if they can’t even represent you in court or reach out about the case. Bottom line she gets her money and won’t do squat. Terrible attorney. DO NOT Waste your money. Refuse to listen to counsel? What do you make of other attorneys to getresults for their client? That was quick response. In posting a review only, it takes 2 days to get a response. Last hearing we had in court was 2 months ago, without my attorney present, to this day no word. Yes i guess that s the client not listening too right? Terrible
• I don't know how she can call herself a lawyer. Her website is misleading about how she takes payment she claims that they take credit card so that you can make payments. This is misleading after placing a very large Bail I could only afford to give her half of her retainer in cash and the other half with credit card which her website says she allows. She refused this and demanded cash. She has refused to do any work until all-cash is paid up front. Which is contradictive to her website she will ignore all forms of contact she will not return any of your phone calls. I had to look for a new attorney and now fighting to get back part of my retainer from this woman who calls herself a lawyer. The office of lawyer regulations has opened a file looking into her conduct. I would warn anyone to stay away from this woman she comes off very professional and nice until she gets your money then she stops all communication. This is an add-on because I cannot respond after attorney keurig's reply but if you notice she still blames everything on the client she never returned a single phone call never even met with me demanded cash even though her ad says easy payment plan through credit card when I did have the cash she failed even appear. Her response is as cold as her personality and is unprofessional as her conduct do not hire this woman I am not the only one to complain do your due diligence this woman should not be practicing law there is now an active investigation with the office of lawyer regulations. If you do your due diligence call the office of lawyer regulations and you will see repeated complaints filed against this attorney.
• Horrible! I usually do no write reviews but this is needed to inform people of what’s to come when doing business with Ms. Cleghorn. Kerri was appointed to me by the court 07/22. During the time she’s had my case Kerri did not call and keep me up to date on my case AT ALL. She didn’t return any of my phone calls, or even ask me discovery questions or any questions in general regarding my case. I received 2 offers by the Courts in which Keri never informed me of not one prior to taking the case to trial or at all. Trial date was set for 12/12/22 after not speaking to Keri since she took on my case in July. Or her failing to attempt to contact me at all, her assistant left a voicemail stating I would not have trial due to her 2 homicide cases taking precedent and did not clarify that I was still to show up at court. Keri was supposed to contact me yet again before my case went to trial and failed to do so. She then showed up at my trial date where a bench warrant was issued for my failure to appear at trial. Kerri did not inform the courts as to why I was not there considering she had her assistant leave the voicemail. This is my first charge ever so I was not familiar with the process. Kerri offered no assistance or insight whatsoever. I couldn’t even get ahold of her so I could ask her to withdraw from my case. I had to hire ANOTHER lawyer to take over to get her off of my case. An overall horrible experience. Not worth the money I was being charged and will be seeking retribution in regards to the charges so I do not end up paying for such a traumatizing experience. And as we see below. She has replied to my public review before she replied to me contacting her directly. I have had to print out my call logs as proof to the courts as to when and how many times I was in contact with Ms. Cleghorn as well as save voicemails to inform the courts.
