A colleague of my brother overheard our conversation regarding green card application and recommended us Judy Chang. To assure my words, I was struck with immigration misfortune and have gone thru the roller coaster of ordeals due to ‘not’ having the right attorney for more than 20 years (yes, it took me that long); I went thru 3 different immigration attorneys (so I know how hard it is to meet the RIGHT one). At the first H1B visa petition, my employer designated a lawyer who was the top in the state, but unfortunately, she wasn’t the top to me. The main problem was the difficulties to communicate with the lawyer timely and precisely. Moreover, after failure in the H1B lottery, she didn't care about anything for my continued employment. I asked my employer to reapply and to find another attorney who I could trust and communicate smoothly. USCIS accepted our appeals to reopen my case, but requested again additional evidences. USCIS gave us 33 days, but I checked the notice late, so we had only 20 days. I wanted to put everything behind me, and to go back to my country. I was exhausted too much, so it was a tough time emotionally. However, I encouraged myself and believed, ‘There is a hope if Ms. Change takes care of it’. From this, I experienced their great team work.
