A complete scam. My MIL paid him and gave him important paperwork to make copies of for her case. He has failed to contact her or answer calls for weeks. We reached out to him via email form that we found through a legal website asking him to please reach out to us to at least give us back the paperwork. He is never at his office. And his voicemail is now full. It is so frustrating that he is keeping the paperwork and I really feel that he just took advantage of an older single woman. Please avoid at all costs.

This guy scammed us out of out money. He offered to take our case for a landord/tenant paying half upfront and then half after the case. He quit taking our calls and did not respond to our text messages. I went to his office and he plagiarized some other lawyer work. We ended up complaining to the state bar and he light and said my significant other acted as a lawyer and said we did not want to meet with him. The bar gave him a strike, which is not public, but we have the proof to show. I ADVISE ANYONE WHO EXPERIENCES ANY ISSUES LIKE THIS TO FILE A GRIEVANCE TO THE STATE BAR. AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COST.

David is a very good lawyer and I would absolutely recommend him. We hired him when a not so great builder refused to give us back our Ernest money. Not only was David kind and professional, he always called, answered my calls, and would communicate with me in a timely manner. Once everything was settled, he called me to make sure the title company returned our money. I really appreciated the personal follow up from him. Thanks David for all your help.

About Jones Kimball Law Firm
When seeking legal representation, especially for sensitive personal or financial matters, Texans rightfully expect professionalism, diligence, and clear communication from their chosen attorney. The decision of who to trust with your legal case is paramount, as it can significantly impact your financial well-being, personal property, and peace of mind. For residents across Texas, particularly in the Arlington area, understanding the experiences of previous clients with local legal service providers is a critical step in making an informed choice. This article aims to provide a factual and informative overview of Jones Kimball Law Firm, located in Arlington, Texas, drawing directly from publicly available client feedback. By presenting this information, we hope to equip local users with the necessary details to assess if Jones Kimball Law Firm aligns with their expectations for legal services, enabling them to make a cautious and informed decision when considering legal representation in the Texas region.
The Jones Kimball Law Firm is located in Arlington, Texas, making its address accessible to individuals within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. You can find their office at 4303 S Bowen Rd #103, Arlington, TX 76016, USA. This address places the firm within a commercial area in Arlington, which generally offers a degree of convenience for local residents.
For those commuting by car, the office's location on S Bowen Road means it's reachable from various parts of Arlington and potentially nearby cities, depending on major road access. While S Bowen Road is a significant thoroughfare, individuals should consult a map or GPS for the most direct routes from their specific starting point within the DFW area. Professional office complexes typically offer parking facilities, which would contribute to the ease of access for clients driving to the location.
Regarding public transportation, the availability of specific bus routes or other transit options directly serving this address would need to be verified independently. However, for many Texans, particularly in suburban areas like Arlington, personal vehicle use is common. Therefore, the road accessibility would be the primary factor influencing convenience for most potential visitors. While the address itself is standard, the overall accessibility will depend on an individual's mode of transport and their starting point within the sprawling Texas metroplex.
Based on the provided customer reviews, the services offered by Jones Kimball Law Firm appear to revolve around legal representation, specifically in areas such as landlord/tenant disputes and other civil cases where clients seek compensation or resolution. However, the nature of these services, as described by the reviewers, raises significant concerns regarding their delivery.
- Landlord/Tenant Disputes: One reviewer explicitly mentions that the firm "offered to take our case for a landlord/tenant" issue. This indicates that landlord/tenant law is an area where the firm has presented itself as providing services, aiming to represent clients in disputes arising between property owners and renters.
- Civil Case Representation: The context of clients seeking "compensation for the damage" and pursuing a "case" generally suggests that the firm handles various civil litigation matters where individuals are seeking legal remedies for grievances. This could encompass a range of disputes where legal intervention is sought to resolve conflicts or recover losses.
- Fee-Based Engagement: The firm clearly operates on a fee basis, as indicated by clients stating they "paid him" or were asked to pay "half upfront and then half after the case." This structure suggests a typical professional legal engagement where payment is required for services rendered.
- Document Handling: The firm accepts "important paperwork to make copies of for her case," indicating that a service involves the collection and processing of client documents relevant to their legal matters.
However, it is critically important to note that the reviews strongly suggest issues with the provision of these services, including lack of communication, unresponsiveness, failure to act on cases after payment, and alleged plagiarism. These are serious accusations that undermine the stated or implied services. For Texans considering this firm, understanding these past client experiences is essential for evaluating the actual delivery of the services advertised or implied.
Based on the provided customer reviews, the "features" and "highlights" of Jones Kimball Law Firm are described in a highly negative light, primarily focusing on significant concerns regarding their conduct and service delivery. It is crucial for potential clients in Texas to be aware of these reported experiences.
- Alleged Non-Responsiveness: A recurring "feature" highlighted by multiple reviewers is a severe lack of communication and unresponsiveness. Clients report the firm "failed to contact her or answer calls for weeks," "quit taking our calls and did not respond to our text messages," and that the "voicemail is now full." This suggests a consistent pattern of poor client communication.
- Inaccessibility: Reviewers note that the lawyer is "never at his office" and that attempts to reach him in person were unsuccessful, indicating a significant issue with accessibility and direct engagement.
- Allegations of Scamming/Taking Advantage: Multiple reviewers use strong language, calling the firm a "complete scam" and alleging that the lawyer "scammed us out of our money" and "took advantage of an older single woman." These are very serious accusations of unethical or fraudulent behavior.
- Failure to Perform Services After Payment: Clients state that despite making payments (e.g., "paid him," "paying half upfront"), the firm "haven't really did nothing for my kids!" and did not progress their cases (e.g., "We ended up complaining to the state bar"). This suggests a failure to deliver promised legal services after receiving payment.
- Retention of Important Documents: A critical concern raised is the alleged retention of "important paperwork" that the firm failed to return despite requests, which can severely impede a client's ability to pursue their case elsewhere.
- Allegations of Plagiarism: One reviewer explicitly states, "I went to his office and he plagiarized some other lawyer work." This is an extremely serious accusation of professional misconduct and lack of original legal work.
- State Bar Grievance and "Strike": A significant "feature" or outcome highlighted is that a grievance was filed with the State Bar of Texas, resulting in a "strike" against the lawyer. While the strike itself is not public, the fact that formal action was taken by the State Bar based on client complaints indicates serious professional issues. This is a very strong warning for potential clients.
In summary, the "highlights" provided by these reviews are not positive attributes but rather severe warnings about alleged unprofessional conduct, unresponsiveness, and potential ethical violations, culminating in formal action by the State Bar. For Texans, these reported experiences serve as critical information when considering this firm for legal services.
Based on the provided client reviews, there are no mentions of "promotions" or "special offers" from Jones Kimball Law Firm in the traditional sense of discounts, free consultations, or specific limited-time deals.
Instead, the reviews focus entirely on negative experiences related to the firm's service delivery and conduct, including concerns about payments made without services rendered.
It's important to reiterate that while many legitimate legal firms offer free initial consultations or contingency fee arrangements (especially in areas like personal injury, though this firm's primary mentioned service was landlord/tenant), there is no information provided to suggest that Jones Kimball Law Firm offers any such promotions.
The core information from the reviews regarding fees is that clients "paid him" or paid "half upfront and then half after the case." This indicates a standard fee-for-service model, but with significant allegations of non-delivery of services after payment.
Therefore, potential clients in Texas should not anticipate any promotions or special offers from this firm based on the available public feedback. Instead, the critical information to consider revolves around the serious concerns raised by former clients regarding service delivery and professional conduct.

For locals in Texas, particularly those in the Arlington area, evaluating the suitability of Jones Kimball Law Firm based on the provided public reviews leads to a very cautious conclusion. While this section typically highlights why a business is suitable for locals, in this specific instance, the overwhelming negative feedback and serious allegations necessitate a different approach: advising extreme caution.
The reviews consistently describe significant and concerning issues that directly impact a client's ability to receive effective legal representation. These include:
- Lack of Communication: Repeated complaints about unanswered calls, unreturned messages, and general unresponsiveness are fundamental barriers to a functional attorney-client relationship. Clear and consistent communication is paramount in legal matters, and its reported absence here is a critical red flag.
- Failure to Perform Services: Allegations of taking money upfront but failing to advance cases or return important documents directly contradict the expectation of professional legal service. For locals entrusting their sensitive legal matters, this reported conduct is deeply concerning and indicates a potential breach of professional duty.
- Accessibility Issues: Reports of the lawyer "never at his office" and a full voicemail suggest severe inaccessibility, making it difficult for clients to receive updates or progress their cases.
- Serious Allegations and State Bar Action: The use of terms like "scam," "took advantage," "plagiarized," and, most significantly, the confirmation of a "strike" from the State Bar of Texas, point to serious professional misconduct. While details of the State Bar action are not public, the fact that such a formal complaint resulted in a "strike" is a powerful indicator of substantiated issues. For Texans, the State Bar is the regulatory body designed to protect consumers, and its involvement suggests verified problems.
In light of this publicly available information, Jones Kimball Law Firm, based solely on these reviews, appears to be highly unsuitable for locals seeking reliable, ethical, and effective legal representation. While the intent of this section is usually promotional, the factual content provided necessitates a factual warning. Local users in Texas seeking legal services are strongly advised to consider the severe warnings from previous clients. For any legal needs, it is always recommended to thoroughly research attorneys, check their standing with the State Bar of Texas, and seek multiple consultations before entrusting a legal case to any firm, especially when such significant negative feedback is publicly available.
