In the category of "Nearby Lawyers," discerning the right legal representation is crucial for individuals navigating complex legal matters. Johnson Law Group, LLC, situated at 2139 Chuckwagon Rd #210, Colorado Springs, CO 80919, USA, is one such firm serving the local community. For those seeking legal assistance in Colorado Springs, understanding the specifics of a firm's services, approach, and client experiences is paramount. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Johnson Law Group, LLC, drawing from publicly available information, including client reviews and general business details.

Johnson Law Group, LLC can be reached via phone at (720) 744-3513 or mobile phone at +1 720-744-3513. Their physical location in Colorado Springs places them within convenient reach for local residents requiring legal counsel. As a law firm, their primary offering is legal services, which typically encompass a range of practice areas depending on the firm's specialization. While specific practice areas beyond what is implied by client reviews are not explicitly stated, the nature of the provided testimonials strongly suggests a focus on family law, particularly divorce and child custody cases.

When considering the environment of a law firm, several factors come into play. This includes the accessibility of the office, the professionalism of the staff, and the overall atmosphere that clients experience. While a direct, in-person assessment of Johnson Law Group, LLC's office environment isn't possible through online information alone, the address indicates a physical presence in Colorado Springs, suggesting a professional office setting where clients can meet with attorneys and staff. The firm's ability to be reached by both a landline and mobile number points to multiple channels for initial contact and ongoing communication, which can contribute to a sense of accessibility for clients.

The services provided by Johnson Law Group, LLC, as gleaned from client feedback, appear to heavily involve family law matters. One client, Amber Harrison, lauded the efforts of attorney Amber Harrison and paralegal Katie Blough, highlighting their dedication and skill in managing a complex custody case. This review describes a team that is "tirelessly" working, even on weekends and evenings, conducting thorough legal reviews, and presenting "highly intelligent arguments." The willingness of attorney Amber Harrison to file a motion to recuse a difficult judge, when other attorneys were reportedly hesitant, speaks to a proactive and assertive approach in litigation. The review also emphasizes the team's ability to "not be pushed around by opposing counsel" and their commitment to client availability and promptly addressing concerns. Katie Blough, the paralegal, is described as "remarkable," ensuring prompt communications, quick delivery of filed paperwork, and diligent assistance to the attorney. This suggests a well-coordinated team that prioritizes clear communication and efficient case management.

However, another client review presents a contrasting and significantly negative experience, which is crucial for a balanced understanding of the firm's services and features. This review details a prolonged and costly engagement with attorney Anne Hinds, ultimately leading to the client representing themselves in court. Key points of concern raised include significant financial expenditure (over $27,000), a perceived lack of in-person meetings with the attorney, and repeated requests for information that had already been provided, leading to increased billing. The client also reported that their assigned attorney, Anne Hinds, was unavailable to represent them in court in Colorado due to being in Florida, necessitating a transfer to another attorney within the firm, Tim Dudley, which incurred additional costs as both senior attorneys and their paralegals billed for "getting up to speed." The most concerning aspect of this review is the client's assertion that they were left to represent themselves in court after exhausting their funds, and that the judge was seemingly unaware of the firm's attorneys not being present. This experience paints a picture of poor communication, inefficient billing practices, and a lack of consistent representation, leading to extreme client dissatisfaction.

These two contrasting reviews highlight critical features and potential areas of variability within Johnson Law Group, LLC. On one hand, there is evidence of highly dedicated, skilled, and effective legal representation, as described by Amber Harrison regarding attorney Amber Harrison and Katie Blough. This suggests that certain attorneys and their teams within the firm may possess strong litigation skills, a commitment to client advocacy, and effective communication. The description of attorney Amber Harrison as "tough as nails" and "highly skilled in law" implies a firm capable of robust and assertive legal strategies, particularly in challenging family law disputes. The emphasis on prompt communication and diligent work by Katie Blough underscores the importance of a strong paralegal team in supporting legal cases.

On the other hand, the negative review regarding Anne Hinds points to significant concerns about client communication, billing transparency, and consistent attorney availability. The accusations of repeated billing for already provided information and the attorney's absence from court due to out-of-state presence are serious issues that potential clients would need to consider carefully. This review suggests that the client experience at Johnson Law Group, LLC may vary significantly depending on the specific attorney assigned and potentially the management of financial aspects of the case. The outcome of the client winning their case while representing themselves, despite the negative experience with the firm, adds another layer of complexity to the overall assessment.

From a promotional standpoint, a law firm like Johnson Law Group, LLC would typically highlight its successes, experienced attorneys, and dedication to clients. Based on the positive review, promotional materials could emphasize the firm's ability to handle complex and challenging family law cases, its assertive litigation style, and the commitment of its team members. Phrases like "tireless advocacy," "skilled litigators," and "client-focused approach" could be used to attract clients seeking resolute representation. The positive feedback regarding prompt communication and thorough legal work could also be key selling points.

However, an objective introduction must also acknowledge the critical feedback. For potential clients, understanding the full spectrum of experiences is vital. While a firm may have highly effective legal professionals, issues related to billing transparency, communication consistency, and attorney availability, as highlighted in the negative review, are significant considerations. Therefore, any promotional information would need to be carefully balanced with the reality of diverse client experiences. It is common for law firms to offer initial consultations, which can be a valuable opportunity for prospective clients to assess the firm's environment, discuss their specific needs, and inquire about billing practices and attorney availability before making a commitment.

In conclusion, Johnson Law Group, LLC in Colorado Springs appears to be a legal practice primarily focused on family law matters, such as divorce and child custody. While some clients have reported highly positive experiences, praising the dedication, skill, and effectiveness of specific attorneys and their support staff, others have raised serious concerns regarding billing practices, communication, and attorney availability. For those in Colorado Springs seeking legal assistance in family law, it would be prudent to conduct thorough due diligence, potentially including an initial consultation, to gauge the firm's fit for their specific needs and to clarify expectations regarding communication, fees, and attorney commitment.

Amber Harrison has been able to accomplish more in a few months during my case than my prior 5 attorney's had done over the past 2+ years. I am so glad I was referred to her. She works tirelessly, even working on weekends and evenings when needed. She reviews the law thoroughly and presents highly intelligent arguments and positions that are difficult for the opposing side to refute or counter. The initial judge in my case was difficult and she filed the motion to recuse when other attorneys over the last 2+ years were too scared. He recused himself and my case turned around quickly. She did the right thing. She has shown great skill to not be pushed around by opposing counsel and she does not shy away from heated conversations. She stands her ground, is tough as nails, highly skilled in law, committed to helping her clients, and she has always been available to promptly address my concerns. Her paralegal Katie Blough is also very remarkable and clearly a key element of her team. Her communications are prompt, she ensures I get the filed paperwork quickly, and she is a pleasure to speak with. She is diligent in ensuring issues are not missed and assisting Amber. I am sure she does much work behind the scenes that I don't see. I very much appreciate her work. It is clear that Amber and Katie form an amazing team. I am so grateful for their help on my case. I can even see the benefit of their work with my children's positive responses to the changes she has helped with and that they can plainly see.

If you want to spend $27,000+, drain your entire savings account, never meet your attorney in person, and end up representing yourself in court anyway, then Johnson Law Group is for you! Yes, you read that correctly. I went through a year of hell when my ex husband decided to take me to court for custody 3 full years after our divorce. Without getting into ALL the details I’ll say this, it was an unfounded attempt at a power play on his part. Anyway, I hired Johnson Law Group, Anne Hinds to be specific. Well, of course she promised me the moon and stars, she really “cared” about my situation and was there to help. It all sounded great! I had a team, I had back up…. Yeah… that was what I was led to believe. However, several months into this, I’ve been paying all my bills on time, out of my actual bank account, not a loan or a payment plan, but cold hard cash, they all of a sudden burn through 10K now they need more, so I give them more money, reminding them “I’m a single mom, I still have to take care of my child” so can they please attempt to conserve the giant lumps of money I’ve been giving them? Well somehow, emails keep getting lost, I’m being asked the SAME QUESTIONS over and over and over again, knowing that each time they email me its costing me money, Ms. Hinds at $400/hr and her paralegal at around $175-$200/hr (I can’t remember exactly)… How many times can I plead “Please check the email chain, I’ve answered this 3 or 4 times”? But nope, they kept asking the same things multiple times. And then, when trial time comes, guess what? Ms. Hinds is in Florida (she’s a snow bird is my guess) and won’t be able to be in CO to represent me in court…. WHAT?!?! So I get to, essentially, start ALL OVER with another attorney Tim Dudley, and HIS paralegal. So, in order to “get him up to speed” Anne and her paralegal Megan, and Tim and his paralegal are all chatting, so I have to pay 2 senior attorneys and 2 paralegals!! But you know what? My son is the most important person to me so I keep on as best I can. Then, the actual trial date comes up, March of 2024, BOOM!! BIG HUGE SNOWSTORM! So court is…..POSTPONED!! And guess what?? Johnson Law Group has burned through all the money I have given them, OVER $27,000!!!!… so in order to have an attorney at court with me on the new court date, they tell me they’ll need ANOTHER $10,000…….!!!! I have no money left at this point, the whole time I was doing this every. single. paycheck went to attorney fees I retained NOTHING, drained my savings account, and ended up not being able to have an attorney in court anyway. Also, the Judge was not even notified that the attorneys from Johnson Law Group would not be present that day, and she seemed pretty surprised to see me there ALONE, representing myself… So yeah, Johnson’s Law Group is awful, they’re attorneys don’t care unless you can pay them to. But by the way that day, alone, in court… I WON! Do yourself a favor, DO NOT hire Johnson Law Group… all law firms may be the same but I can only refer to my experience with this one.

I hired Johnson law group for an adoption matter. I worked with Daniel Sol as my attorney and his assistant Katie Wilson. They were with me every step of the way. Daniel listened to all of my concerns and helped to address all issues. Without their assistance and guidance, I would have had a much harder time making it through my case! I highly recommend Daniel sol, Katie Wilson and Johnson law group

Do not use this layers, they have just taken my money and nothing has been resolved. I have already paid them 20,000 dollar to help resolving disagreements between myself and the other party. This is the main reason I hire her, after 6 months of giving her my case, I was told by one of the lawyers that is suppostly working in my case, Shana Velez to be exact, that I had to "speak to the other party to get to an agreement"??? . I am still shocked by this since I have already spent thousands of dollar suopostly to resolve the disagreement with the other party but nothing has been done. Moreover, I had a hearing on the 4th of December, they extended it to February 2025 because according to them I have to meet with the other party to come to an agreement before the court and are now sending us to mediation, why didn't they explained from the beflgininh this was going to be the case? I could had gone straight to mediation instead of spending money that I am having to borrow, to pay for their exesive and extremely expensive fees, especially when they provide such a poor service. In addition to this, I was never told that the whole buffet of Lawyers where going to take a piece of cake of the money I put in their trust account. They email, message and phone eachother eachother and charge for each of the persons that were involved in the conversations. It's so depressing seen the statement of the bills they are sending me, I work so hard assabling and packing earning $18.00 per hour and the lawyer charged me $680.00 dollar for 50 minutes on a meeting where I was just answering questions. They have no compassion for people, it's disgusting how these lawyers want to leave you backrupt and cannot careless. They do not even do their jobs, or explain to their clients about the process, do not provide updates, nor are clear/honest about their fees. I have not received a single call from Shana to explain the possibility of winning the case, or to tell me how the case of going but for every finger or thong they move, they charge minnimun of 190 dollars. She had never giving me advise or invite me to the meeting they have to discuss my case, so I have no updates on the progress. They asked me to sign a contract on a link that I have no access now and when I requested a copy of my the contract and complained over the phone, they stop contact, I have asked for a call back and no one has returned my calls for the last two weeks. For the money I have already paid I should have at least seen some progress, but there in non, the court has been moved twice, and the more they do it the more it cost me. I want clear explanation as to what has been done that is worth over 20, 000 dollar and a copy of my contract without additional charges as this should be included in the initial fee and or is my right to have a copy of this contract, I want to know the exact fees that will be charged going forward, full disclosure of how much more is going to cost me so I can make a decision on whether I want or can continue using their services. Lastly I also want reimbursement of fees I believe I have been overcharged for.
