It is important to note that the available customer reviews for Jennings & Medura, LLC are overwhelmingly negative and raise serious concerns about their billing practices and the handling of cases, particularly concerning an attorney named Cassie.
One reviewer describes their experience with Cassie and her staff's billing as "aggressively dishonest." They report unclear and inflated charges, frequent increases in hourly rates without notice or justification, and a lack of transparency in the billing process. Requests for detailed statements were allegedly met with vague responses or additional charges. This reviewer felt the firm was intentionally obscuring costs and overcharging, leading to rude responses and wage garnishment when they pushed back.
Another reviewer recounts an "unfortunate experience," stating that their divorce case was neglected due to unexpected circumstances affecting the firm. They had previously had a positive experience with Cassie but found her unavailable for a recent divorce and custody case, which she initially deemed "straight forward." The case was allegedly turned over to a paralegal and was not handled effectively, leaving the client undefended against attacks from the opposing counsel. This resulted in accusations against the client's character, parental alienation from their children, and the illegal sale of their personal property without their permission. The reviewer claims Cassie was overwhelmed with other cases and had no time for theirs, even being irritated when the client raised concerns about retirement division. This client strongly advises others to avoid the firm to prevent similar heartache.
These reviews paint a concerning picture of Jennings & Medura, LLC, particularly regarding their billing practices and client service in divorce and custody cases. The allegations of dishonest billing, neglect, and poor communication are serious and should be carefully considered by potential clients.
Given the strongly negative feedback, it is imperative for individuals considering Jennings & Medura, LLC to proceed with extreme caution. Thoroughly researching alternative legal representation and seeking additional opinions may be prudent.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Cassie and her staff whose billing practices can only be described as aggressively dishonest. I was hit with unclear and inflated charges that weren’t adequately explained. The hourly rate, while within the industry standard, seemed to increase frequently without notice or proper justification. Moreover, the billing process lacked transparency. Requests for detailed billing statements or clarifications were met with vague responses or additional charges for time spent answering my questions. This lack of clarity made it feel as though Cassie was intentionally trying to obscure the costs and charge as much as possible. Even when there was no visible progress in my case, it felt like the clock was constantly ticking, with charges stacking up for tasks that seemed minimal in comparison to the time billed. It’s important to understand that while aggressive billing can sometimes feel like a standard practice in the industry, it’s not something any client should have to accept without pushback. My push back ultimately turned into rude responses “Pay your bill to avoid collection” and wage garnishment. Very unfortunate but aggressive billing is Cassie’s practice.
Unfortunate experience !! In my opinion due to unexpected circumstances affecting this law firm my divorce case was neglected. I hired Cassie many years ago, in which she was outstanding. I recently sought her help with a divorce and custody case with her being quoted as saying to me, " I expected this to be a straight forward very easy case". She basically turned it over to her paralegal for a fast and easy case which would not demand any of her time or at least she thought. Turned out to be the opposite with a very nasty and aggressive assault from the partitioner's council. I received no help in defending this attack against my credibility, my character, enduring slandering untrue accusations which resulted in parental alienation from my children that I have now not seen in 2-1/2 years as a result. My personal property was illegally sold without my permission not to mention never receiving any proceeds for my belongings. Meanwhile allowing ongoing dishonesty, falsifications, manipulation from the partitioner and her council to continue with no rebuttal/defending me in anyway. Cassie never was involved, knew nothing about my case being overwhelmed in the circumstantial overload of cases she inherited. She had no time for my case. I had valid concerns about the division of my retirement that she was irritated with me over. I later learned after investigating it myself that she was wrong and It should have and COULD have been settled differently. I could go on but will sum it up by simply stating that I would not wish this unnecessary grief stricken heartache on anyone. I feel I should share my experience and hopefully save others from the nightmare.
My name is Marshall M. I hired Cassie J. Medura (Riley Farnsworth) for legal counsel in a custody case. Despite only advising me on custody matters, Ms. Medura recently filed a lien against my property—an action I believe is improper under AH Code 38-2-7 (Effective 05/12/2015) regarding attorney compensation and liens. In addition, she continues to collect monthly good-faith payments, even though I have already paid over $15,500. She is now demanding an additional $20,000 but refuses to provide an itemized billing statement to justify these charges. I find her billing practices excessive, unjustified, and unfair. After researching further, I found similar complaints on platforms such as Yelp and Google. It is clear I am not the only client who has faced these issues. There are many other attorneys who provide better service, charge more reasonable fees, and actually work to achieve results. From my experience, Jennings and Medura Law Firm seems more concerned with collecting payments than truly advocating for their clients. I would strongly caution anyone considering this firm to do their research before hiring them.
Confused during the majority of my case. Did not understand what was going on. Probably because there were numerous different people with their hands in the basket I never knew who was working my case. Thought everything was good and done in 2023, but come to find out Cassie and her team dropped the ball and my custody case was never filed with the courts. A year later my case was about to be thrown out. Then to top it off, After making payment arrangements with me for her outrageously high prices, she dropped out of my case! I now have no legal counsel for a court date she caused by not filing my case and she also went back on her agreement on allowing me to pay a certain amount per month until I got on my feet. Couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Thanks Cassie! (sarcasm) Would highly NOT recommend this firm and after reading other reviews, charging a ridiculous amount and then dumping you is what she seems to do.
I cannot recommend Cassie Medura for legal representation. Unfortunately, my experience with her was disappointing and costly. While every legal matter is unique, my personal experience with her was less than ideal, and I would advise others to carefully consider their options.
