I live in Canada and I was interested in out of country conservatorship, for a family member. I booked a consultation with Jennifer Nagel and found her very professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. She provided me with specific information and valuable insight into my situation. Jennifer Nagel was unprofessional from the start, even speaking to me while driving. She barely answered my questions, only double talked most of the time. But since the State Bar referred me to her, I thought she would help me. I was wrong. I spoke to a man often on the phone, he was friendly but inept. He repeatedly claimed he'd send the receipts & a work agreement, but never did. Even after requesting it several times. I NEVER DID GET ANY PROOF FROM THEM! NO RECEIPT, NO AGREEMENT! Back to the strange lawyer. Jennifer Nagel was supposed to write a letter in my behalf discussing $65,000 owed me. She instructed me to email her the information I needed included & she would take about 2 hours to write a draft, which she'd send me for my revisions or approval. After hearing nothing from them for 2 weeks, I emailed & asked if anyone was going to bother returning my phone calls/emails. She actually sent me an email stating "I don't believe I've met you." 🤨 I emailed her with a list of every single correspondence we had, & also explained that I still haven't received a receipt for the $700 I paid her office, or the agreement. She quickly responded after that, apologizing for the "mix up." I mentioned I didn't know the man's name who told me several times he'd email soon but never did, but she was strange & only referred to him as "the person who answered the phone." I'm no lawyer, but I do know enough to question the professionalism of all of this. She said she printed out all of my documents I sent & really wanted to devote her time to it & would send me the draft soon. I waited 2 MORE weeks. Emailed her AGAIN asking how long they were going to make me wait. She called me the next day & spent all of 2 minutes telling me that she feels sorry for me because of the predicament I was in, but couldn't help me after all, but she'd be happy to refund me $500. I was shocked & speechless. I finally said "You told me 4 weeks ago you could write a letter. I sent you everything you asked for, I waited 4 weeks, & now this?" She said she understood, but couldn't help me & would refund me. I asked her why she couldn't have told me this FOUR WEEKS AGO!? She mumbled some excuse & transferred me to no-name-man. I was still in shock & couldn't even speak when moron said quite chipper he was refunding me $500. Like I had won a prize or something. I said "Okay. BTW I never did get your name." TOTAL SILENCE! So I asked again, "Could you give me your name please?" Still nothing. I spoke louder & said "HELLO?" thinking we got cut off when he finally speaks up & says, "I don't appreciate how rude you're being to me." If I wasn't already in shock from what was happening, this certainly put me over the edge. I said, "What? I just asked you what your name was. All this time, I never got your name." He became indignant & told me again I was being super rude & he didn't appreciate my behavior. 😳ARE YOU SERIOUS? I literally laughed out loud because there's no way on God's green earth any adult would have thought I was being rude. I said "I'm sorry, I just asked for your name, that's all." He snapped at me "Thank you for apologizing, but you're still being rude & I don't appreciate your behavior!" HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. UNBELIEVABLE! Who are these strange people? THEY charged ME $700. THEY wasted over 4 WEEKS OF MY TIME. THEY seriously damaged MY case by ignoring ME for a month. THEY never sent ME anything. THEY ABANDONED ME! Then NO-NAME MAN through a bloody tantrum like a little girl who got caught with her hand in a cookie jar, YET I'M THE ONE WHO'S RUDE? I filed an Attorney Misconduct Complaint with the State Bar. SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF GRIEF & DO NOT USE Jennifer Nagel. UPDATE: I didn't get the refund as no-name kept barking about, so I sent Nagel an email last night, (Oct 22) I told her to refund me the full $700. Knowing they'd throw a fit & finally refund me the $500. & Sure enough, I got the $500 back that minute, along with a scared little girl email throwing a hissy fit. WHO ARE THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE? No no, CHILDREN!?!

Jennifer Nagel is a great lawyer and very professional. She is always available to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

My case being a difficult custody battle, she was able to get my out of an unfair situation with a judge that was not fair and turned it around for the better.
