I hired Jeff Courtney to defend me on a case, and I live in another state. When I hired Jeff I didn't realize that I was getting an entire law firm. Everyone was attentive to my needs, and responded time was done in a timely fashion. If I had questions that needed to be researched I always had a response within 24 hours. I retained Jeff Courtney after I was arrested for DUI, charged and convicted of second offense, aggravated. I was facing a mandatory 30 days in jail plus the possibility of my DL being revoked for 15 years, maximum. Jeff and his younger associate, Frankie Hass, got the Prosecutor to lower the charge to non-aggravated and to the sentence reduced to 18 months of probation. I chose 10 days in jail over the option of 240 hours of community service. In phone conversations, I found Jeff to be knowledgeable, tough, and committed to giving me the best defense I could get. Frankie was very effective as his surrogate. The Office Manager, Allison is also as sharp and knowledgeable as most lawyers I have interacted with. Their price was reasonable, and I recommend them highly. It was a very stressful time, and I found them not only to be legally proficient but also to be sympathetic to me as a fellow human being. I do recommend them highly.
Contacting any type of lawyers scared me. But finding Mr. Courtney was a true blessing. Meeting him and talking to him was very pleasant. I thought because he is an attorney that he would look down on me or belittle me. At our first meeting it was easy and he is down to earth and he is very kind. No matter how many questions I ask he answered and never got annoyed. I told him my story and what I needed and he gave me confidence. Leaving the office that day I felt so much calmer. Every time I called through out my custody case Kim, Allison and Erica would always answer. I would call the office number at 8pm and someone would speak to me. You can tell this office is dedicated to what they do and they have a great team. In the end of my case everything worked out smoothly. I would recommend Courtney Law any day.
