James R. Pawliczek, Esq. Introduce

This profile is intended to provide local users in Florida, New York, with information regarding James R. Pawliczek, Esq., an attorney whose office is located at 62 N Main St #303, Florida, NY 10921. As a listing in the 'Nearby Lawyers' category, this introduction aims to present an objective overview based on publicly available client reviews. However, it is critical to note that the overwhelmingly negative feedback raises significant concerns about the services provided by James R. Pawliczek, Esq.

Based on the limited information available, the specific areas of law in which James R. Pawliczek, Esq. specializes are not detailed. Potential clients should be aware that the strongest indicators about this legal practice come from the direct experiences shared by individuals who have reportedly retained his services. These reviews paint a concerning picture of unprofessional conduct and a severe lack of client care.

The overwhelmingly negative feedback from clients necessitates a detailed examination of the issues raised:

  • Lack of Respect and Unprofessionalism: Multiple reviewers describe James R. Pawliczek, Esq. as disrespectful and unprofessional towards his clients. These are serious allegations that suggest a fundamental breakdown in the attorney-client relationship. Respect and professionalism are cornerstones of legal practice, ensuring clients feel valued and heard during what can be a vulnerable time.
  • Failure to Communicate: A recurring theme in the negative reviews is the attorney's failure to return phone calls and emails. Effective communication is paramount in legal representation, as clients rely on their attorneys for updates, guidance, and responses to their inquiries. The reported lack of communication suggests a significant disregard for client needs and the progress of their cases.
  • Neglect of Case and Lack of Updates: One client reported not receiving any documents regarding their case for over a year and only receiving two phone calls from the attorney during that entire period. This indicates a severe lack of engagement with the client's legal matter and a failure to keep the client informed about critical developments. Such neglect can have serious consequences for the client's case and their ability to make informed decisions.
  • Requiring Unannounced Office Visits for Updates: The same client stated that they were only able to get updates on their case by showing up at the office unannounced and hoping to meet with the attorney. This highly unusual situation underscores the difficulty clients reportedly face in obtaining basic information about their legal proceedings. It suggests a complete breakdown in standard communication protocols.
  • Verbal Updates Without Documentation: Even when clients managed to meet with the attorney in person, the updates provided were reportedly verbal, with no supporting documentation. This lack of written records can create confusion, hinder the client's understanding of their case, and potentially lead to disputes or misunderstandings down the line. Proper documentation is essential for transparency and accountability in legal proceedings.
  • Plaintiff Receiving More Information from the Defendant: In a particularly alarming statement, one plaintiff reported receiving more information about their case from the party they were suing than from their own attorney. This highlights a fundamental failure of representation, where the client's own lawyer is less communicative and informative than the opposing party.
  • Regret Over Retaining the Attorney: The client who detailed the extensive communication issues and lack of case updates explicitly stated their regret in retaining James R. Pawliczek, Esq., despite having paid the demanded fees in full. This strong expression of dissatisfaction serves as a significant warning to potential clients.
  • Allegations of Jerky and Disrespectful Behavior: A second review echoes the concerns about the attorney's demeanor, describing him as an "absolute jerk" who was disrespectful and seemingly uninterested in helping people. This further reinforces the negative portrayal of his professional conduct.
  • Concerns Regarding Health and Safety: The second reviewer also noted that the attorney did not wear a mask, raising concerns about his regard for public health guidelines and potentially the well-being of his clients and others in his office.

Given the severely negative nature of the publicly available reviews, it is extremely difficult to objectively describe the positive features of working with James R. Pawliczek, Esq. The overwhelming sentiment from these clients is one of dissatisfaction, regret, and a strong recommendation against retaining his services.

Similarly, describing the environment of the Law Office of James R. Pawliczek, Esq. based solely on these reviews is challenging. The fact that clients reportedly had to show up unannounced to get updates suggests a potentially disorganized or inaccessible office environment. The comment about not wearing a mask might indicate a disregard for established health and safety protocols within the office.

There is no information available regarding any promotional offers from the Law Office of James R. Pawliczek, Esq. However, in light of the overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning the fundamental aspects of legal representation, any promotional efforts would likely be overshadowed by the serious concerns raised by former clients.

For local users in Florida, NY, seeking a 'Nearby Lawyer,' the available information strongly suggests extreme caution when considering James R. Pawliczek, Esq. The consistent themes of disrespect, lack of communication, neglect of cases, and unprofessional behavior, as reported by multiple clients, are significant red flags. Potential clients should carefully consider these experiences and weigh them heavily in their decision-making process. It is advisable to seek legal representation from attorneys who demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, communication, and diligent client care.

In conclusion, while the Law Office of James R. Pawliczek, Esq. is listed as a nearby lawyer in Florida, NY, the publicly available reviews paint a deeply concerning picture of his professional conduct and client service. The issues raised by former clients are severe and should not be ignored. Individuals seeking legal representation in the area are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution and consider alternative legal counsel who prioritize communication, respect, and diligent advocacy for their clients. The negative feedback is so strong and consistent that it is impossible to recommend this attorney based on the information available.

Given the gravity of the negative feedback, potential clients are urged to conduct thorough due diligence and consider seeking legal representation elsewhere to ensure their legal matters are handled with the professionalism and care they deserve. I had retained a few lawyers in the past, but this one is the worst of the worst. He does not respect his clients and is very unprofessional towards his clients. I argued with him a few times due to lack of respect as he never returned calls and emails. Throughout the whole process that it took over a year, I haven't received any documents regarding my case. I have only received 2 calls from this guy throughout the whole process. I stopped calling and leaving messages because he wouldn't respond, so I decided to start showing up at this office unannounced. I was able get updates of my case only if only I show up at his office unannounced and if I was fortunate to meet him in his office. He would then provide a verbal update (no document). As plaintiff, I've received more information regarding the case from defender who I have sued than my own lawyer. I thought he would be an ok lawyer and decided to pay him in full the amount he demanded but I regret retaining this useless lawyer. I gave him one star because google doesn't allow no star nor minus star that this guy truly deserves. AGAIN, DO NOT RETAIN THIS GUY.

What an absolute jerk. Did not wear a mask, was disrespectful throughout, and clearly is not interested in actually helping people. Do yourself a favor and do not give this hack your business.
