Welcome to our platform for Nearby Lawyers. If you are a local user in Clifton, New Jersey, or the surrounding areas, seeking legal assistance, Ilasz & Associates, located at 1035 US-46 #105, Clifton, NJ 07013, USA, is a law firm that appears to handle a variety of legal matters, including those with international aspects, particularly involving Poland. The firm is led by Liviusz Ilasz, who is specifically mentioned in the available client reviews. It's important to note that the client experiences with this firm, as reflected in the online reviews, are quite contrasting, indicating a need for careful consideration by potential clients.

The provided information does not offer specific details about the environment of the Ilasz & Associates office. However, law offices generally aim to provide a professional setting for client consultations and legal work. Situated on Route 46 in Clifton, Suite 105 likely offers a space within a commercial building where clients can discuss their legal needs. While the ambiance is not described, one can typically expect a standard office environment suitable for conducting legal business.

Based on the available client reviews, the services offered by Ilasz & Associates appear to be diverse. One client's experience involved an inheritance case concerning property in Poland, suggesting that the firm handles international legal matters, particularly those related to Polish law. This could include assistance with notarial testaments, property rights in Poland, and potentially other legal issues involving Polish jurisdiction. The fact that the client's contract was in English with handwritten notes in Polish further indicates a capability to handle cases with linguistic complexities.

Another service highlighted in the reviews is assistance with obtaining official documents from Poland, specifically a Polish birth certificate. The positive review details the firm's "perseverance and caring" in successfully procuring this document in a timely manner, even when facing obstacles. This suggests that Ilasz & Associates can assist clients with navigating bureaucratic processes and obtaining necessary legal documentation from Poland.

However, the first review presents a significantly different perspective, detailing a negative experience related to an inheritance case. This client reported issues with vague and non-descriptive billing statements, despite multiple requests for detailed breakdowns. Examples provided include charges for "review case or documents" without specifying what these entailed and a charge for a "40 minutes attempt to call prosecution office." The client also mentioned a reversed statement where charges were initially applied incorrectly.

Furthermore, the dissatisfied client claimed to have paid over $11,000 before the first court hearing and ultimately canceled their agreement with Ilasz & Associates prior to this hearing. The client also alleged that oral promises made by Liviusz Ilasz, such as the case being in court within a month, were not kept. This paints a picture of potential issues with transparency in billing, communication, and meeting client expectations.

The contrasting reviews reveal key features of Ilasz & Associates that potential clients should consider. On the positive side, the firm demonstrates an ability to handle international legal matters involving Poland, including inheritance and document procurement. The positive review highlights "perseverance and caring," suggesting a willingness to go the extra mile for clients and providing a sense of trust.

On the negative side, a client reported significant issues with vague billing practices, poor communication regarding the specifics of work performed, and unmet expectations regarding timelines. The description of interactions and billing raises concerns about transparency and client communication within the firm, at least in the experience of one individual.

Given the starkly different experiences, it is difficult to present a unified promotional message. The positive review, emphasizing successful document procurement through perseverance and care, could serve as a promotional point for individuals needing assistance with Polish official documents. The firm's apparent ability to handle legal matters involving Polish law could also be a promotional aspect for those with such international legal needs.

However, the negative review acts as a strong caution against potential issues with billing transparency, communication clarity, and the fulfillment of promises. This feedback suggests that while some clients may have positive experiences, others might encounter significant frustrations.

In conclusion, for local users in Clifton, New Jersey, seeking legal assistance, Ilasz & Associates, located on Route 46, appears to offer services in areas involving Polish law, including inheritance matters and obtaining official documents like birth certificates. While one client praised the firm's perseverance and caring in a document procurement case, another reported a very negative experience with an inheritance case, citing vague billing, poor communication, and unmet promises. Potential clients should carefully consider these contrasting experiences. If you have legal needs involving Poland or require assistance with Polish documents, Ilasz & Associates may have the relevant expertise. However, it would be prudent to discuss billing practices, communication protocols, and expected timelines in detail during an initial consultation. Contacting Ilasz & Associates at (973) 773-9060 or +1 973-773-9060 to discuss your specific needs and to gain a clearer understanding of their services and client communication approach is highly recommended before engaging their services. The divergent client experiences underscore the importance of thorough due diligence when considering this law firm.

Worst experience ever! My contract is in English with hand writing subject in polish. All statements are in polish. Despite my 2 requests to have detailed statements, the wording has been vague and not descriptive. For example 'review case or documents', without specifications of what the case or documents are. I paid over $11,000 before the case was in the court! My case was inheritance - property in Poland that my friend left me and other person in her notarial testament. One example of ridiculous charges is 40 minutes attempt to call prosecution office. One time they reversed statement as the charges have been for somebody else. I cancel my agreement with Ilasz & Associates before the very first hearing in court. Should I add that all oral promises ( for example the case should be in court within a month) by Liviusz Ilasz has NOT been kept.

Without going into the serious reasons for needing a copy of my Polish birth certificate, the fact is, it was imperative that I receive it as quickly as possible. Ilasz & Associates got me through snags where others would have put up their hands, but they carried on. Because of their perseverance and caring, the birth certificate came through in, what seems, record time. I can't thank Ilasz & Associates enough. This isn't something you can do alone and you need someone you can trust. I thank them ten times over.

We work with Mr.Ilash and his Associates for more than 3 years now. I understand frustration of some people who without experience think that case can be solved overnight. In reality it is more complicated. It consumes time, money and lots of work in both sides. Never give warrantee that you will win. We as a company and individual client’s definitely recommend this law firm. Ilass will always stand behind you. Even you may not have luck with your case he will fight till it is solved in your favor. It happened to us and we are extremely grateful. Thank You.
