Based on the available customer reviews, Howard B. Haas appears to have a specialization in Social Security law. However, the limited number of reviews presents contrasting perspectives on his services:

  • Social Security Law Expertise: One reviewer describes Howard B. Haas as a "great and honest social security attorney." This strongly suggests that his primary area of practice is Social Security law, likely encompassing matters related to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims. His honesty, as perceived by this reviewer, is also highlighted as a positive attribute.
  • Recommendation for Social Security Matters: The same positive reviewer states, "I would recommend him to all my family and friends," indicating a high level of satisfaction with his services in the realm of Social Security law.
  • Negative Initial Interaction: In stark contrast, another reviewer had a negative experience, stating that Mr. Haas "was very rude over the phone and didn't want to take my case after only literally 2 minutes on the phone with me." This feedback raises concerns about initial client interactions and case selection.
  • Perception of Premature Case Rejection: The same negative reviewer felt that Mr. Haas made a quick decision not to take the case based on their age (26 and applying for SSI) without fully considering their medical history and current circumstances. This suggests a potential issue with initial screening processes or a narrow focus in the types of Social Security cases Mr. Haas is willing to handle.

The features of Howard B. Haas, Attorney, as suggested by the limited and conflicting reviews, present a mixed picture:

  • Expertise in Social Security Law (per positive review): The positive review strongly indicates a specialization and proficiency in handling Social Security disability claims.
  • Honesty (per positive review): The reviewer specifically mentions his honesty, which is a crucial trait for an attorney.
  • Potential for Rudeness and Hasty Case Rejection (per negative review): The negative review raises concerns about the initial client experience and the possibility of cases being dismissed quickly without a thorough assessment.
  • Possible Case Selection Criteria: The negative feedback suggests that Mr. Haas might have specific criteria for the types of Social Security cases he takes, potentially based on factors like age or the initial overview of the situation.

Was very rude over the phone and didn't want to take my case after only literally 2 minutes on the phone with me Response back: As soon as you heard I was 26 after SSI, you didn't even wanna hear anything else I had to say. Not even my medication list which, has gone up as well as my disorders, since speaking with you. Funny, you say that u didn't think u could help me and yet, I found a lawyer who took my case.
