This overview focuses on Hope Law Group, P.C., a law firm located in Buena Park, California, with reported experience in areas such as family law and immigration law.
Hope Law Group, P.C., is situated at 6131 Orangethorpe Ave, Suite 360, Buena Park, CA 90620, USA. This location in Buena Park offers accessibility for residents and businesses in the surrounding communities of Orange County. The office suite is part of a commercial building, likely providing a professional environment for client consultations and legal work. As specific details about the office ambiance are not available, it is typical for law firms to maintain a setting that allows for confidential and focused discussions regarding legal matters.
To contact Hope Law Group, P.C., you can use the phone number: (213) 381-2900 or the mobile-accessible number: +1 213-381-2900. Having both options provides flexibility for individuals seeking to reach the firm. The area code (213) might suggest that while the physical office is in Buena Park, the firm may also have ties or a broader service area that extends into Los Angeles County.
When considering a law firm, it is essential to review feedback from previous clients to gain insights into their experiences. In the case of Hope Law Group, P.C., the available reviews present a stark contrast in client satisfaction, highlighting the importance of thorough research and due diligence when selecting legal representation.
One extensively detailed review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the firm's handling of a family law case, specifically mentioning an attorney named Jennifer. The reviewer describes their experience as an "absolute nightmare" from the point hearings were scheduled. Key issues raised include difficulties in communication, with the client frequently needing to seek clarification or case status updates. The reviewer also reports receiving invoices with significant and fluctuating amounts.
According to this client's account, despite providing years of documented evidence, they received last-minute requests for evidence submission from the attorney's assistant, and allegedly, this evidence was not presented to the judge. The reviewer claims that the attorney, Jennifer, made assurances about the case outcome that did not materialize and, following the final trial, allegedly misrepresented a court decision. This was followed by a contradictory communication from the assistant and substantial invoices for the trial proceedings.
The financial strain caused by the firm's fees and the need for the client to take unpaid time off work for hearings in another state (Iowa, in this case) are also highlighted as significant negative impacts, reportedly contributing to the dissolution of the client's former marriage and leading to further marital difficulties. The reviewer states they ultimately terminated Jennifer's services, regretting not doing so sooner, and mentions being referred to another attorney for appeals with a conditional discount on the outstanding bill, which had reportedly accumulated to a large sum.
The reviewer expresses a strong belief that the outcome of their case would have been significantly different with other representation and voices concerns about the safety and well-being of the minors involved, noting ongoing involvement of police and child protective services post-trial. The review concludes with a strong caution to prospective clients to conduct thorough interviews with attorneys and to be aware that not all lawyers prioritize their clients' best interests.
In stark contrast to this highly negative experience, another review offers high praise for a specific attorney within the firm, Mr. Steven Jeau, in the context of immigration law. This review simply states, "Attorney Mr. Steven Jeau is the best immigration lawyer that anyone could ask for." This positive feedback suggests that Hope Law Group, P.C., may have different attorneys specializing in various fields, and the level of client satisfaction can vary significantly depending on the attorney and the area of law.
Based on the limited information and the contrasting reviews, it appears that Hope Law Group, P.C., may handle cases in both family law and immigration law. However, the detailed negative review regarding the handling of a family law case raises serious concerns about communication, case management, billing practices, and the level of representation provided in that specific instance. The positive review for Mr. Steven Jeau in immigration law indicates a potential strength in that area.
Prospective clients considering Hope Law Group, P.C., should carefully weigh the available feedback and conduct thorough due diligence. If you are seeking representation in family law, it would be prudent to inquire specifically about the attorney who would be handling your case, their experience, communication style, and billing practices. Requesting references or seeking additional reviews might also be beneficial.
If your legal needs fall within immigration law, the positive review for Mr. Steven Jeau suggests that he may be a valuable resource. However, it is still recommended to conduct your own research and have a detailed consultation to ensure he is the right fit for your specific immigration needs.
The location of Hope Law Group, P.C., in Buena Park makes it a potentially convenient option for residents of Buena Park and surrounding areas in Orange County. However, the quality of legal representation should be the primary factor in your decision-making process, outweighing geographical convenience.
In conclusion, Hope Law Group, P.C., located in Buena Park, California, appears to offer services in areas including family law and immigration law. However, the firm has received significantly contrasting reviews from clients. One detailed account describes a very negative experience in a family law case, citing issues with communication, case handling, and billing. Conversely, another review highly praises attorney Steven Jeau for immigration law services. Local users considering Hope Law Group, P.C., should proceed with caution, conduct thorough research, and seek detailed information about the specific attorney and their experience in the relevant area of law before making a decision.

Before hiring this firm make sure to read thoroughly all the reviews. If I could give this firm a negative 5, I would!. I hope you’re able to stick to reading this review entirely as it’s long!. My experience with this firm has been an absolute nightmare from the moment hearings were scheduled. Communication was hard to get as I was often reaching for clarification or status of the case and invoices were often sent with amounts ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. I had hired Jennifer to represent my case all the way from California. I Provided years and years of documented evidence regarding my case and yet I would still received emails from her assistant asking what evidence I would like to be submitted for the court days prior to the hearing, and even so, none of that evidence was actually presented to the judge/ Judges. Jennifer believed wholeheartedly that the case was going to be won based on the other parties actions a year prior. Jennifer failed miserably to work on my behalf to ensure that the case was going to protect my children. After the final trial, Jennifer deliberately lied to me inside the court room and said the judge wanted to allow the other parent to finish the schedule parenting time, followed by a court letter the following day from her assistant stating the opposite and returning the minors to the other parties care. I was then hit with an invoice totaling over 9k for that trial that had to continue a week later with another invoice for half the amount of the previous one. The financial strain this firm put me in though has affected more than my mental health, my former marriage fell through due to all the stress and time off work putting my family and children in California in a financial strain, from all the time I was taking off work unpaid to go to Iowa and be present for hearings-now leading me to a second divorce. Soon after the final trial, I formally fired Jennifer and her services; I should have done sooner, because the best she could do for me was referring me to another attorney that could take the case to appeals. She offered a 30% off discount the entire bill - only it the total remainder of the bill could be paid in a 6-9 month period. The total amount accumulated which was close or past $20,000 not including previous paid balances. She also suggested she showed up to another hearing to just be there as back up and wouldn’t charge me. If the case was too complicated for her in the first place I don’t understand why the referral wasn’t made soon after inquiring the services. Jennifer or her assistant did NOT throughly evaluated any of evidence i submitted to protect the kids or the integrity of my case. This firm still manages to get paid while clients are left to deal with the aftermath of misrepresentation. This firm is far from giving anyone Hope, if anything they take every string of HOPE from you. If I would have been able to hire Mr. Jason Rieper of Rieper Law Firm to represent my case the way he represented his client in court, the outcome of my case would have been a million times different. The safety of the minors regarding this case and their wellbeing have continue to be at risk, since they were returned back to the other parent. Police and CPS are still getting involved 8 months post the final trial regarding their situation. no one in Iowa actually seems to care to protect the children even when it’s been the children calling for help. Do your due diligence to throughly interview attorneys to represent your case. Not all of them want to work on your behalf. Some of them just want to get paid.
Attorney Mr. Steven Jeau is the best immigration lawyer that anyone could ask for.
I've been waiting for this for 8 years, but this is a lawyer who didn't do any work and just took the money. Never go...
