I did not get the result I needed from them. I am in crushing debt and there's still no end in sight nearly two years into my divorce. However, we faced serious headwinds, unaware of the politics of Dupage County. If you have a high conflict divorce in Dupage county and wish to use a big city lawyer you will lose, full stop. You have no chance. Flavia Hayes will not stop fighting however, for better or worse. She has the bulldog personality and drive that can succeed (and clearly has)... but not in Dupage County. This is not due to her practice, however. This is local politics at work. Pick someone local or you will sorely regret it. In family court the judge is the judge, jury, and executioner and will lose zero sleep delivering biased judgements when one party is not from Dupage County. Her communication is excellent and she does her best to not nickel and dime you in unnecessary fees. She will care deeply for you and your case no matter what. Nicole is also a valuable Associate Attorney with a bright future.
