This positive feedback suggests that at least one client found the services provided to be beneficial and the attorney to be knowledgeable. However, it is important to consider all available information when making a decision about legal representation.

It is crucial to address a significant piece of information present in the provided data. A review mentions "Violating NRS 7.285 Claiming to represent me as my attorney without a Nevada license without my authorization or consent." This review references Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 7.285, which pertains to the unlawful practice of law in Nevada. Specifically, it outlines that a person shall not practice law in Nevada if they are not an active member of the State Bar of Nevada or otherwise authorized to practice law in that state. The review alleges that Harriet E Raghnal claimed to represent the reviewer in Nevada without the necessary authorization.

This is a serious allegation and highlights the importance of verifying an attorney's credentials and bar admissions, especially when legal services are required in a specific jurisdiction. It is essential for potential clients to understand that bar licenses are state-specific in the United States. An attorney licensed to practice in New Jersey may not be authorized to practice law in Nevada without the appropriate admissions or permissions.

We strongly recommend that individuals seeking legal representation in Nevada verify the attorney's licensing status with the State Bar of Nevada. You can typically do this through the State Bar's official website or by contacting them directly. Ensuring that your attorney is properly licensed in the relevant jurisdiction is vital for the legitimacy and effectiveness of the legal representation.

The mention of NRS 7.285 and the associated penalties, including misdemeanor, gross misdemeanor, and even felony charges for repeated offenses, underscores the seriousness of practicing law without the proper credentials. It also grants the State Bar of Nevada the authority to initiate civil actions, such as seeking injunctions against individuals engaged in the unlawful practice of law.

While one review offers positive feedback regarding helpfulness and knowledge, the other review raises a significant concern related to unauthorized practice in a different state. As a local user seeking legal services in New Jersey, it is important to consider the nature and relevance of this past issue. It pertains to legal practice in Nevada and may not directly reflect the services provided in New Jersey. However, it warrants careful consideration and due diligence on your part.

When considering Harriet E Raghnal Law Office for your legal needs in Maplewood, NJ, we advise you to:

  • Contact the office directly at (973) 843-7911 or +1 973-843-7911 to discuss your legal matter and the services they offer.
  • Inquire about the attorney's qualifications and bar admissions in New Jersey.
  • Ask about their experience in handling cases similar to yours.
  • Discuss their approach to client communication and representation.
  • Consider scheduling a consultation to assess if their services and approach align with your needs.

It is also prudent to seek additional information and reviews from other sources if available to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the law office's reputation and client satisfaction in the New Jersey area. Remember that past experiences, particularly those related to legal practice in a different jurisdiction, should be carefully evaluated in the context of your current legal needs in Maplewood, NJ.

This introduction aims to provide you with an objective summary based on the information available. We encourage you to conduct your own thorough research and due diligence before making any decisions regarding legal representation.
