Chelsey Fischbach I can’t thank Chelsey Fischbach enough for her outstanding legal support during one of the most emotionally intense and time-sensitive situations of my life. As a veteran navigating a complex family matter, I was overwhelmed and under pressure. Chelsey stepped in at the last minute, quickly understood the entire case, and developed a clear, strategic plan that brought calm to chaos. What impressed me most was how she handled everything with precision and compassion — especially given how sensitive and personal this situation was. I asked for a result that was just a little better than what the other party wanted. Chelsey not only delivered that, but went far beyond expectations. She brought the case from a negative place all the way to being trial-ready — and got results I didn’t think were possible. Chelsey didn’t just represent me legally — she stood up for me in a way that made me feel heard, supported, and protected. Her work ethic, legal skill, and steady presence made all the difference. I’m deeply grateful and would highly recommend her to any family facing complex legal challenges, especially military families or veterans who need someone who truly gets it.

This is the best law firm in town. I am still working with them, and I already know how dedicated they are. Chelsea specifically is a great human being and a passionate advocate for our family. She does her job and communicates timely, consistently and clearly. She is detailed oriented, very vest and articulate with the law.

I truly hope no one gets married & thinks to themselves "divorce will the ultimate ending to this union", but alas, it happens more frequently than not. Yes, there were some tenuous moments in the process, more provoked by my ex & the mentality of the professional climate of "The grass is greener in the other practice's court yard" but given the circumstances & outcome, I am very pleased with the process. Patience & realistic expectations are key along with knowing this will not be cheap

I wish I could rate zero stars. Throughout my child custody case, I was shuffled between three different attorneys—two of whom suddenly left Groshek—forcing me to take out loans to defend against my ex’s aggressive lawyer. I ended up doing most of the work myself because my legal representation was completely incompetent. Christa, the managing partner, has refused to refund the excessive charges I incurred just to get each new attorney up to speed. I was even billed for responses to documents that were riddled with typos and misinformation that had nothing to do with my case. Worst of all, after all this, my daughter’s violent father was granted even more time with her than before I hired Groshek Law. My experience with Anna, Mary, Shannon, and Christa has been nothing short of devastating. I would never recommend this firm to anyone dealing with a serious custody battle.

We hired Groshek Law as our attorney when we were getting married and needed a prenuptial drawn up. First, they lost our payment and never contacted us to move forward with the prenup, so after a month we reached out and said “are you writing us a prenup or what?”. Our wedding was only 2 months away. Second, they had grammatical and spelling errors in the prenup, including my soon-to-be-stepson’s last name, and when contacted about this didn’t actually respond, ultimately did correct it, but with zero communication. Third, they cancelled an appointment to meet and sign our paperwork the day of, a couple hours before the meeting. We were forced to find a couple friends to sign as witnesses and rush to a UPS store to get the paperwork signed before our wedding. Hilariously, they sent us a form to fill out after we sent them our complaints and are offering us, and I’m going to use all caps for emphasis here, THIRTY WHOLE DOLLARS as compensation. Ultimately, we felt wildly and comically ignored by this law firm. I am so happy to be leaving this review and I look forward to the day someone asks me for advice on hiring an attorney as I will relish the chance to tell them NOT to hire Groshek Law. Edit: You have no records of Jeanette Noble because my name is Noble Jennette, clearly written at the top of this review, and you have no record of Noble Jennette because my wife hired you to write our prenup.

- Administrative Law: Beyond professional license defense, they also manage other administrative law matters that may arise.
A standout feature of Groshek Law PA is its unique "Groshek Method," a team-based approach developed by the firm's owner and managing attorney, Christa J. Groshek. This method involves dedicating multiple attorneys to every case, ensuring thorough investigation and rigorous defense. The firm emphasizes being "Proactive, Prepared, and Professional." They aim to be proactive by starting with mutual education, prepared by expecting the unexpected, and professional by adhering to the highest professional standards. This collaborative approach ensures that clients benefit from collective expertise and comprehensive legal strategy, leading to a high level of preparedness for any legal challenge.
Christa J. Groshek herself is an award-winning trial attorney, recognized by Super Lawyers, Avvo, and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. With over 50 jury trials under her belt and an impressive 80% not-guilty jury verdict rate in her first year on the Trial Team, her experience and success rates are significant indicators of the firm's litigation prowess. The firm also boasts that its attorneys, including associate attorneys like Aaron Roy, Jessica Rugani (a former prosecutor), Chelsey Fischbach, Breanne Glesener, and Assistant Managing Attorney Mary B. Rannells Rowan, undergo intensive onboarding, consistent mentoring, and ongoing training, ensuring a consistently high level of service across the team.
Client testimonials overwhelmingly praise the firm's dedication, professionalism, and successful outcomes. One grateful client stated, "The team at Groshek Law, especially Aaron Roy, were knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel like I was cared for the entire way through the process. They successfully had my case dropped before it even went to court, and this major stress in my life is gone." Another client, who went from "attempted 1st degree to a not guilty verdict at home with my family," highlighted that Burch (referring to Anthony Burch, whose firm was also mentioned in a similar prompt, but the review was attributed to Groshek Law PA in the provided data, suggesting an internal client referral or shared client base) and his team "really stood on all business for me." This indicates a firm that truly fights for its clients from pre-trial motions to verdict. Christa Groshek is often described as "amazing," "incredibly thorough and hardworking," and a "rockstar." Jessica Rugani is noted for being "detailed, precise, knowledgeable, and worked very well with the prosecutor in my case," leading to a very happy outcome for a client who had a negative experience with a previous lawyer.
However, it is important to note one significant negative review that surfaced, describing a child custody case where the client was "shuffled between three different attorneys—two of whom suddenly left Groshek—forcing me to take out loans to defend against my ex's aggressive lawyer." This client reported doing most of the work themselves due to "completely incompetent" legal representation, being billed for "typos and misinformation," and ultimately having their "daughter's violent father... granted even more time with her than before I hired Groshek Law." This review raises concerns about consistency in attorney assignment and communication in certain family law cases, and Christa Groshek's refusal to refund "excessive charges." While this is a singular negative review amidst many positive ones, it indicates that prospective clients should inquire about attorney assignment and communication protocols, particularly in long-term or complex family law matters.
From a promotional standpoint, Groshek Law PA leverages its strong track record of success and its unique team-based approach. The firm's motto, "Why settle for one attorney when you can have a team? Groshek Law PA – Proactive. Prepared. Professional," is a central message. They actively promote the idea that each client is viewed as an individual, not merely a legal problem. The firm's website features "Press Mentions" highlighting Christa Groshek's involvement in high-profile cases and interviews, further bolstering her and the firm's reputation. They also share "Successful Cases" as evidence of their capabilities. The primary phone number, (612) 426-7047, is prominently displayed, inviting direct contact for consultations.
In conclusion, Groshek Law PA in Minneapolis stands out as a highly specialized and impactful law firm within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, particularly strong in criminal defense, family law, child protection, and professional license defense. Under the leadership of Christa J. Groshek, the firm employs a distinctive team-based "Groshek Method," emphasizing a proactive, prepared, and professional approach to legal advocacy. While the vast majority of client testimonials praise the firm's dedication, thoroughness, and ability to secure favorable outcomes, one notable negative review highlights potential challenges in managing attorney assignments and communication in certain complex family law cases. Nevertheless, the firm's extensive success stories in criminal defense, its commitment to ethical practice, and its strong leadership make it a formidable and often highly effective choice for individuals and families in Minneapolis facing significant legal challenges. Potential clients are encouraged to utilize their readily available contact information to discuss their specific needs and determine if the firm's approach aligns with their expectations.
