This address places the firm in a central and easily accessible part of Mineola, which serves as the county seat of Nassau County and is a significant legal hub. Old Country Road is a well-known thoroughfare, and being in a professional building at Suite #345 suggests a typical law office setup. Such a location implies a professional environment designed to facilitate client meetings and legal work. The accessibility of the office is a key factor for clients, especially those who may be dealing with stressful legal situations and require convenient access to their attorney.
The environment of a law office, particularly for an individual attorney or a small firm, is generally designed to foster client comfort, confidentiality, and efficient legal processes. His firm's online presence highlights an emphasis on preparation and investigation, with attorneys sometimes visiting case locations and dispatching private investigators. He is noted as an experienced trial attorney with backgrounds as former Assistant District Attorneys, providing "in-depth insight into how cases are developed and prosecuted." Specific mention is made of handling DWI arrests, car accidents, and other criminal charges. This broad range of services within criminal defense and personal injury makes him a potential option for many individuals in Nassau County facing such legal challenges. The provided customer review, concerning a felony case, further corroborates his involvement in criminal defense. For local users in Mineola, identifying an attorney who handles their specific legal needs is paramount. Potential clients would be best served by directly contacting Gregory Madey Law Office at (516) 248-6050 or +1 516-248-6050 to inquire about his specific areas of practice and confirm if his expertise aligns with their legal requirements.
The features of Gregory Madey's legal practice, as illuminated by the provided customer feedback, present a stark contrast that prospective clients should carefully consider. One review offers a highly positive portrayal, describing him as a "Great attorney" who is "very straight forward and knowledgeable." These are desirable features in any legal professional: clear communication, directness, and strong legal expertise. Such attributes would typically be a strong promotional point for a lawyer operating in the "Nearby Lawyers" category, suggesting a reliable and effective advocate.
However, another review offers a very different and significantly negative perspective. This lengthy review, from a client facing a "2nd non violent felony," details severe issues with client communication and perceived competence. The reviewer states that Mr. Madey visited him only three times in 17 months while held pre-trial, with significant delays between visits. A particularly concerning claim is that the client "had to teach him the law!" regarding his prior felony offender status, which Mr. Madey allegedly did not seem to understand initially, leading to a "dumb look on his face." The reviewer explicitly states, "if anyone is appointed or paid this man ( I couldn’t even imagine that) I would highly recommend they consider an actual effective counselor cause I ever mr madey you certainly is not Greg madey is a bozo." The reviewer also notes the limited number of reviews and the presence of two "awful" ones, questioning how he has four-star reviews. This feedback suggests significant issues with professional diligence, legal knowledge in specific contexts, client neglect, and responsiveness, particularly for clients held in custody. This stark contrast in experiences highlights a critical feature of any legal practice: consistency in client care and professional engagement, regardless of the case's complexity or the client's circumstances.
From a promotional standpoint, the Gregory Madey Law Office faces the challenge of reconciling these vastly different client experiences. While positive testimonials can be powerful, detailed negative feedback, especially concerning perceived incompetence, neglect, and poor communication, can significantly deter potential clients. Effective promotion would typically highlight the attorney's experience, successful outcomes, and commitment to client welfare. For Mr. Madey, leveraging the positive review to emphasize his straightforward approach and knowledge could be a strategy. However, prospective clients who encounter both reviews while searching in the "Nearby Lawyers" category are likely to exercise caution. It is crucial for individuals seeking legal representation to perform their own due diligence, which includes not only reviewing online feedback but also scheduling an initial consultation to assess the attorney's demeanor, communication style, and dedication firsthand. Discussing concerns raised by reviews, particularly regarding responsiveness and the handling of specific legal details, and clarifying expectations regarding communication and case management, would be a prudent step for anyone considering engaging the services of Gregory Madey Law Office. The phone numbers (516) 248-6050 and +1 516-248-6050 are available for such initial contacts.

I had 2nd non violent felony’ in Nassau county and I will be the first to admit I was wrong for my behavior and got what I deserved as far as a sentence , having said that... please know that with an open mind I would like anyone who is considering this attorney to know that he visited me 3 times in 17 months I was held pre trial at Nassau correction facility, during the visits he would tell me he was going to be back shortly to visit me again each time almost 7 months would go by, on my 10th month he told me to hang in there and that he was getting me a 1-3 year plea, I said I would take it however he never answered mine or family attempts to contact him , another 7 months later he came to visit me , this time I had to teach him the law! And the law was that I had been a pfo (prior felony offender) and that a person of my status was not even eligible for that particular sentence, at which point he concurred, and just had some dumb look on his face , if anyone is appointed or paid this man ( I couldn’t even imagine that) I would highly recommend they consider an actual effective counselor cause I ever mr madey you certainly is not Greg madey is a bozo he literally lives in my neighborhood I hope I get the chance to give him a piece of my mind one of these days Bozo that he is how does he have four star reviews? He only has Four reviews and two of them are awful? SaysA lot about his character, Bro, no one’s ever even heard of you you weirdo
