Shanon helped me negotiate a disengagement contract I needed done and worked tirelessly to push on the other parties attorney to get the wording and details of the contract to my specific needs. I was expecting to get $4k back from the contract and Shanon negotiated $7k for me. So his services were quite honestly above and beyond what I expected. He also was very kind and easy to talk to. I'm not sure what I paid for. This was a DUI case in Washington County. When I first met with Mr. Gray, he gave me a very rosy picture of what my sentencing would look like. I was excited to have him as a lawyer with all of the promises he had made me. Once I paid him, his entire demeanor changed. Wouldn't answer the phone or return my calls, was annoyed to even have to talk to me etc... When sentencing day came, he looked like he hadn't slept the night before. He lumped me in with another DUI client and had us go through and sign our paperwork together. In the courtroom, he didn't say anything in my defense. The DA made up a gruesome story to the judge about my DUI case claiming I was "speed racing"?? Mr. Gray said nothing in return, no defense at all. After sentencing, he again, gave both of us his post sentencing advice together. To add to the sloppiness, he switched our paperwork around and gave me the other guy's stuff. I was lucky to find the other defendant in the parking lot and get my sentencing paperwork back and give him his. I guess all in all, if you want to pay $3500 to have a guy in a suit to stand next to you, this is your man. If you want someone to defend you, I'd look elsewhere. Needless to say, none of the promises he made to me during our initial consultation came true...
