Gabriel & associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW Introduce

Within the "Nearby Lawyers" platform category, we present an introduction to Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW, located at 801 Pacific Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813, USA. For local users seeking legal representation, it is crucial to consider all available information to make an informed decision. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on feedback found online, encompassing potential aspects of their environment, services, features, and any discernible promotional undertones, while ensuring all available information, both positive and negative, is presented without omission.

The physical environment of Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW, situated on Pacific Avenue in Long Beach, likely offers a standard professional office setting. While specific details about the interior or amenities are not provided in the reviews, one can generally expect a space designed for client consultations, legal work, and administrative operations. The accessibility of the location on Pacific Avenue might be a factor for local users considering visiting their office.

Based on the limited information available in the provided reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the full spectrum of legal services offered by Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW. However, we can infer some areas of their practice based on the context of the client feedback:

  • Automobile Accident Cases: At least two of the reviews explicitly mention representation in automobile accident cases, suggesting this is one area of their practice.
  • Personal Injury Claims: The reference to a "bad automobile accident" and a friend being "hit Dtla by a vehicle" implies involvement in personal injury law related to vehicular incidents.
  • General Lawsuit Representation: One older review from 15 years ago mentions representation in a lawsuit, indicating a potentially broader scope of legal services beyond just accident cases.

The features of Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW, as perceived through the lens of the provided client reviews, present a mixed picture:

  • Experienced Attorneys: The mention of Victor Bressler in a positive review from 15 years ago suggests the firm has had experienced attorneys on staff. However, the more recent negative review casts doubt on the current competency and client handling.
  • Contingency Fee Basis (Implied): The discussion of settlement amounts and the firm taking a portion suggests they may operate on a contingency fee basis for certain types of cases, such as personal injury.
  • Potential for Prolonged Case Duration: One highly critical review details a case that allegedly dragged on for over four years without consistent communication or perceived progress.
  • Inconsistent Communication: The same negative review highlights a significant lack of communication, with the client reporting difficulties in receiving return calls and infrequent contact from their initial attorney.
  • Lack of Transparency in Billing: The client in the negative review claims to have never received billing information related to their medical treatment, raising concerns about transparency in financial matters.
  • Use of Unknown Attorneys: The appearance of an unfamiliar attorney at a deposition for a client who had primarily dealt with a different attorney raises questions about internal communication and client preparation.
  • High Medical Bills and Low Client Settlements (Alleged): The negative reviews suggest a pattern where clients are sent to medical providers who incur significant bills, potentially leading to the majority of the settlement going to the medical providers and the firm, leaving the client with a small amount.
  • Requirement for Upfront Payment for Trial Testimony (Alleged): The claim that the firm required a $5,000 upfront payment for expert witness testimony in case of trial is a significant point of concern.

Based on the provided information, there is no explicit promotional content from Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW. However, the older positive review mentioning "excellent service" could be seen as a past endorsement. Conversely, the overwhelmingly negative and detailed account from a more recent client serves as a stark warning and effectively counteracts any potential positive perception. This negative review, detailing allegations of incompetence, poor communication, lack of transparency, and unsatisfactory financial outcomes, significantly overshadows the single positive comment from 15 years prior.

For local users within the "Nearby Lawyers" platform category considering Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW, the available online feedback presents a serious dichotomy. While a past client reported "excellent service" many years ago, a more recent and highly detailed review paints a picture of alleged incompetence, poor communication, questionable billing practices, and ultimately, a very unfavorable financial outcome for the client. This more recent account includes serious allegations of neglect and prioritizing medical billing over the client's best interests. The stark contrast between these two reviews underscores the importance of thorough due diligence when selecting legal representation.

Given the significant and concerning details in the negative review, local users should approach Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW with extreme caution. The allegations of prolonged case duration, lack of communication, unexpected attorneys, opaque billing, and minimal client settlement are serious matters that potential clients should carefully consider. While a single positive review exists from the distant past, the detailed and critical nature of the more recent feedback cannot be ignored. It strongly suggests potential issues with the firm's client management, communication practices, and overall effectiveness in representing their clients' best interests, at least in the experience of one individual.

Before making any decisions, local users are strongly advised to seek additional information, potentially from other online review platforms or by directly contacting the State Bar to inquire about any disciplinary actions or complaints against the firm or its attorneys. It would also be prudent to seek consultations with multiple attorneys in the Long Beach area to compare their experience, communication styles, fee structures, and client testimonials. The significant red flags raised in the detailed negative review warrant a high degree of caution and thorough investigation before entrusting Gabriel & Associates ATTORNEYS AT LAW with any legal matter. Contacting them directly at (800) 801-7221 or +1 800-801-7221 would be a necessary step if a user still wishes to inquire about their services, but this should be done with a clear understanding of the serious allegations made by a former client.

The absolute worst, incompetent attorney office I've ever dealt with- shame on the person who referred me to these awful People. Early August of 2013 I had a automobile accident, I was then referred to these thieving monsters !!! Initially I was told by monster number 1 with the bad toupee that Mercury Insurance was the worst to get money from, Now at this point any upstanding attorney would have told me "I'm in it to win it and this case is just not worth it" but noooooo the toupee monster was happy to accept my case!!! This case has been drawn out for over 4 years, within the first four years I would never receive any return calls from my inquiries, I finally called the state Bar it was then I received a call from an attorney who i had no knowledge of.... a few months later the toupee monster called me to come into his office for a pre - deposition interview ( this was only the second time I had spoke to him in over 4 years). Fast forward a few weeks later; I enter my deposition form, the attorney that showed up to represent me was someone I've never seen before, I'm thinking to myself who the H-LL are you!!!! During my deposition Mercury Insurance asked me if I knew the cost of my medical bills that the toupee monster initially sent me to, I replied No! I never received any billing information related to cost before or after treatment. Mercury Insurance then informed me that my bill was over $7,000. Mind you the treatment was for a span of about 2 weeks electrotherapy from a TENS machine which can be purchased on Amazon for $39 ( Let the church say A-SCAM)!!!!! Finally Mercury wants to settle for a little over 6,000 the toupee monster and the evil doctor from the Black Lagoon will take the majority of my settlement leaving me with $1,200 and if I decide to be evaluated by Mercury's doctors that's an additional thousand dollars leaving me with a grand total $200 BUT WAIT!!! The toupee monster told me if I want to go to trial I have to walk $5,000 into his office for the testimony from the evil doctor. Today's date: 1/23/2018 and I have yet to receive a red penny. When Karma comes it will be horrible for these monsters. PS. These ambulance Chasers also ripped off 2 of my friends, 1 was hit Dtla by a vehicle traveling the wrong way and smashed her car pretty bad. The toupee monster sent her to a doctor which charged her over $10,000 in medical bills, when she received her settlement 3 years later she got a grand total of $600
