Currently involved with Eric Markusen and communication started off well until he stopped responding. I’ve called and left messages, sent a couple emails and I haven’t heard anything back. I do not recommend working with this office unless you have money and time to waste.

My wife and I used Devin for our will and trust and it was a great experience. She listened to our desires for our estate and children and helped guide us through each step implimenting the process. We have also used Eric for our business for contracts, employment law, and policies. He is responsive and a true subject matter expert. I can not recommend this firm highly enough for both their service and quality.

Attorney Stasek is a fantastic and knowledgeable elder law attorney. She does a wonderful job for her clients and truly cares about them.

Writes contracts that are ambiguous and get thrown out when questioned in court. Do not use this lawyer. He does the bare minimum and the contract he made for me is invalid. Do not go to this attorney

Eric Markeson was incredibly helpful when I started my business. He offered advice that prevented many problems other business owners experience.

The firm's commitment to guiding clients through each step of a process, as highlighted in the positive review for Devin, indicates a client-education and support-oriented approach. From a promotional standpoint, Foley Shannon Powers & Rusch can leverage its positive client testimonials and the diverse expertise within its team. The review stating, "My wife and I used Devin for our will and trust and it was a great experience. She listened to our desires for our estate and children and helped guide us through each step implimenting the process. We have also used Eric for our business for contracts, employment law, and policies. He is responsive and a true subject matter expert. I can not recommend this firm highly enough for both their service and quality," serves as a powerful endorsement. It highlights specific successful engagements in critical areas like estate planning and business law, emphasizing client satisfaction, guidance, responsiveness, and expertise. This positive feedback from multiple clients for different attorneys within the firm points to a consistent level of quality across various departments, which is a strong promotional message. The firm's ability to cater to both individual and business legal needs under one roof is also a significant selling point.
However, an objective introduction necessitates acknowledging all available feedback. The negative review regarding Eric Markusen: "Currently involved with Eric Markusen and communication started off well until he stopped responding. I’ve called and left messages, sent a couple emails and I haven’t heard anything back. I do not recommend working with this office unless you have money and time to waste," presents a significant concern. This feedback directly contradicts the positive portrayal of responsiveness and efficiency. Issues with communication and unresponsiveness can severely impact a client's experience and the progress of their case. For potential clients, this review highlights the importance of clarifying communication protocols and expectations at the outset of any engagement. It suggests that while the firm may possess subject matter expertise, there might be inconsistencies in communication delivery that could lead to client frustration and perceived delays.
In conclusion, Foley Shannon Powers & Rusch positions itself as a versatile legal firm in Mount Pleasant, WI, serving the "Nearby Lawyers" category with a broad range of services including estate planning, business law, and potentially other areas. Its accessible location enhances client convenience. While the firm benefits from strong positive testimonials praising the expertise and service quality of certain attorneys, particularly in specific areas like estate planning and business law, the presence of a concerning review regarding communication issues with another attorney, Eric Markusen, indicates an area where client experience might vary. Potential clients are advised to consider these varied experiences and to conduct thorough due diligence, including discussing communication expectations directly with the firm, to ensure their specific legal needs and service expectations can be met effectively.
