Flamhaft Levy Introduce
For individuals in the Brooklyn, New York area seeking legal representation and browsing the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Flamhaft Levy operates from an office located at 16 Court St #3301, Brooklyn, NY 11241, USA. This address places the firm within a commercial building in the downtown Brooklyn legal district, suggesting a location accessible to those seeking legal counsel in the area.
The limited information available online about Flamhaft Levy presents a stark contrast in client experiences, making it challenging to provide a definitive description of their typical office environment or standard practices. One review paints a highly negative picture, while another offers significant praise. This divergence suggests a potential inconsistency in client experiences or perspectives.
Based on the conflicting client reviews, it can be inferred that Flamhaft Levy provides legal services that may include:
- Criminal Defense: One reviewer explicitly labels Flamhaft Levy as a "defense lawyer" and recounts a negative experience in this context. This suggests that a primary area of practice may involve representing individuals accused of crimes.
- Other Potential Areas: The positive review mentions being "saved from 11yrs," which strongly implies representation in a serious criminal matter. However, without further information, it is unclear if the firm handles other areas of law.
It is important to note the significant discrepancy in the provided feedback when considering the scope of services offered.
The features of Flamhaft Levy, as portrayed by the two available client reviews, are diametrically opposed:
- Negative Review Highlights:
- Ineffective Representation: The reviewer states, "absolutely the worst defense lawyer ever," indicating extreme dissatisfaction with the legal services provided.
- Alleged Lack of Diligence: The comment about taking "$10k from me for 2 hours work" suggests a perceived lack of effort or disproportionate billing.
- Poor Communication: The reviewer mentions a failure to explain things, inability to text or use emails, and never sending a bill, indicating significant communication issues.
- Worsening of the Situation: The claim that a "simple situation" was made "10000 worse" raises serious concerns about the lawyer's competence and handling of the case.
- Allegations of Malpractice and Cognitive Decline: The reviewer explicitly states intent to sue for "mail practice" (likely a typo for malpractice) and alleges that the lawyer has "dementia" and should not be practicing. These are severe accusations regarding professional conduct and capacity.
- Negative Perception of Office Location: The reviewer expresses a negative impression of the office being located in a dinner below the lawyer's residence.
- Strong Negative Recommendation: The reviewer urges others to "run as fast as you can" and suggests a public defender would be far better.
- Positive Review Highlights:
- Life-Saving Outcome: The reviewer states, "Saved me from 11yrs," indicating a highly successful outcome in a very serious legal situation.
- Financial Consideration: The comment about still owing money "like a band" (likely meaning a significant amount) but not being pressured for payment suggests a degree of leniency or a different approach to billing in this particular case.
The stark contrast between these two reviews makes it exceptionally difficult to objectively characterize the typical features of Flamhaft Levy's legal practice. Potential clients face a situation where one former client reports a catastrophic experience, while another credits the lawyer with saving them from a lengthy prison sentence.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or standard fee structures for the services provided by Flamhaft Levy. The conflicting reviews do not offer any insight into pricing or special arrangements. The negative review mentions a $10,000 fee for what was perceived as minimal work, while the positive review hints at an outstanding balance without any pressure for immediate payment. This lack of consistency further complicates any understanding of the firm's financial practices.
For local users in Brooklyn seeking legal representation and encountering Flamhaft Levy in the "Nearby Lawyers" category, the dramatically contrasting client reviews present a significant dilemma. The severely negative review raises grave concerns about competence, communication, and professional conduct, including serious allegations of malpractice and cognitive decline. Conversely, the positive review highlights a potentially life-altering positive outcome and a seemingly lenient approach to fees in one instance.
Given this extreme divergence in feedback, potential clients are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering engaging the services of Flamhaft Levy. This due diligence should include seeking information from multiple sources, such as bar association records, other online reviews (if available), and potentially consulting with other legal professionals in the area for their insights or recommendations. It would be prudent to inquire specifically about communication protocols, billing practices, and the lawyer's experience in handling cases similar to their own.
The allegations in the negative review, particularly those concerning cognitive decline and malpractice, are very serious and should not be taken lightly. While a single positive review exists, the detailed and vehement negativity of the other review warrants significant concern. Potential clients must weigh these conflicting accounts carefully and prioritize their need for competent, communicative, and ethical legal representation.
In conclusion, Flamhaft Levy in Brooklyn presents a complex picture based on the two available client reviews. One review describes a disastrous experience with allegations of incompetence, poor communication, and potential malpractice, while the other credits the lawyer with achieving a life-saving outcome. This extreme contrast makes it impossible to offer a straightforward introduction. Local users considering Flamhaft Levy should be aware of these conflicting accounts and are strongly advised to conduct thorough independent research and exercise significant caution before making any decisions regarding their legal representation.

absolutely the worst defense lawyer ever. he should have retired 10 years ago. took 10k from me for 2 hours work never explain a thing. can’t text or use emails never sent a bill. never explain a thing and took a simple situation and made it 10000 worse. definitely going’s to sue him for mail practice. he has dementia and it should be illegal for him to still be practicing. run as fast as you can. a public defender would be 10000 better. should have known how horrible he is when his office is on a dinner below where he lives with his wife. pure evil. 👿
Saved me from 11yrs. And I still owe him like a band and he never even bothered me for it.
