This has been one of the most disappointing episodes of my adult life. After these people show you the VIP treament while paying their fees upfront, they go silent leaving you to your own resolution consideration. Emails go unanswered, but the one person responding appears to try to have the case manager respond. They don't respond in any manner while the IRS letters pile up. At this point I have made a costly mistake dealing with 5 Star!! I should have gone a different direction dealing with serious tax issues!!!!
Terrible just signed up 3/5 for tax help and nothing but ghosting and false promises mind you i have not even been a client for them for even a month. Got left hanging by case manager 2 times on 2 different appointments. Ashley did try to help sending me to another case manager Al Frias confirming I would get an email 5 to 10 minutes from our conversation today supposably he claimed new case manager Christian Villanueva was going to send me an email and he was talking to him saying to send me an email and waited for nothing. 3 times with failed follow ups. Definitely unacceptable and will dispute with my bank for my refund since all they do is give me a runaround wasting my time.
They negotiated a payment plan with the IRS that actually worked for me. I now have a structured plan to pay it off over time. Their team was professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable!
