  • My brother's attorney, Kaitlyn Wade, basically said she doesn't care if he's innocent. I don't think she took the time to review his case thoroughly. She just wants paperwork signed, and the case is closed. That's why I believe public defenders are the worst; they must be attorney's that are unable to find employment at prestigious law firms. Or are they the middlemen to the State Attorneys office? I have never seen a public defender who cared enough to help keep someone out of prison. All I've ever seen and/ or heard are about plea deals. Why settle for a position within a company with a flawed system?! What change have you ever made or attempted to make to spare your client from the evil clutches of a jail cell? PD's only help advance the careers of the prosecutor while sitting in a cubicle, wondering why their careers are plummeting. What would you say on an interview when asked what you have done or how have you gone above and beyond for a client? I'll wait! Because for most PD, they wouldn't have a sufficient answer because it's not listed in the job description to care enough to provide real assistance to keep people out of jail. The only basis of being a PD is to aid in keeping prisons occupied with patrons - whether innocent or guilty... who really cares, right! You get no return calls from anyone in this office. Hell! They are always in meetings - 24hrs a day. Ohhh noooo! Maybe it's not within the budget to provide return calls. No funding or pay increases!!! Uhhh! It has to be hard going to work every day 😪 when all you are asked to do is absolutely nothing worth making the necessary changes to provide real help to keep your client(s) out of prison. But, hey... it's a job and pays the bills. Huh! Imagine being in debt with an abundance of student loans, for having to settle with being a PD... Shame! PDs really do not care about the people. You'll always be guilty because who really cares if you are innocent-should e the slogan used.
  • If you're represented by Federal Defender in Atlanta you should request Richard Holcomb. He did an outstanding job for me. Average federal case is about 14 years start to finish (time served and probation combined ) my case start to finish 47 months. Richard Holcomb killed it for me.
  • Could not find the type of help I needed
  • They are very organized
  • Good service!

One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with a specific attorney, Kaitlyn Wade, alleging a lack of thorough case review and a primary focus on quickly closing cases through plea deals. This reviewer holds a generally negative view of public defenders, suggesting a lack of care and effectiveness compared to private attorneys. This perspective highlights concerns about the potential workload and resource constraints that public defenders may face, potentially impacting the level of individualized attention provided to each case.
