Alex represented me for about eight months during my divorce. Unfortunately, he was largely unresponsive, rarely returning phone calls or emails, and failed to address key motions filed by opposing counsel. His lack of action meant that motions were often granted by default, undermining my position. His work was marred by inflated billing practices, an unreasonably extended timeline due to frequent vacations, and a general lack of competence. While appearances should not matter, the casual demeanor he projected, including charging $350/hour while wearing a man bun, did not inspire confidence. I strongly advise seeking alternative representation.

He responds to calls and e-mails faster than expected, was very open about having meetings with me in his office when needed, and was the perfect amount of encouragement that I needed getting through this process. His costs are beyond reasonable, I was legitimately surprised when I received the bill after expecting I was going to have to pay thousands more. No one wants to go through a divorce, but if you have to retain Alex Fawell.
