I couldn’t ask for a better lawyer!! Daniel was amazing he heard my case out and told me I had a shot!! I went too many different lawyer’s and law firm’s! However, they just brushed me off!! They told me it was a lost cost and not worth it!! Even though I knew I had a case and didn’t give up and I found Daniel at Elkins and Freedman and if it wasn’t for him I would have given up!! He was helpful, trustworthy and professional!! I will certainly be back and I will only recommend Daniel! Elkins and Freedman are the best in the business!!! Thank you Daniel for all your help!!!

About Elkins & Freedman
For residents and visitors in Orlando, Florida, and the wider Central Florida region, navigating unexpected legal challenges, particularly those involving personal injury or complex insurance disputes, can be daunting. Within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Elkins & Freedman emerges as a notable law firm dedicated to providing comprehensive and client-centered legal representation. Located in a bustling area of Orlando, the firm aims to serve individuals seeking justice and fair compensation for their losses.
Elkins & Freedman is situated at 7380 Sand Lake Rd #500, Orlando, FL 32819, USA. This address places the firm in a prime commercial and accessible location in Orlando, specifically within the highly active Dr. Phillips area. While specific details about the interior design of their office are not publicly available, law firms in such prominent locations typically maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment. The aim is to create a comfortable space where clients can openly discuss sensitive and often distressing legal matters with their attorneys, ensuring privacy and building trust.
Based on the provided information and common practice for firms in this category, Elkins & Freedman likely specializes in areas of law where individuals often need strong advocacy against larger entities, such as insurance companies or negligent parties. Given the nature of client reviews (as detailed below), their primary focus areas appear to include:
- Personal Injury: This broad area typically covers cases where individuals have suffered harm due to the negligence or wrongdoing of another party. This can include:
- Car Accidents
- Truck Accidents
- Motorcycle Accidents
- Bicycle and Pedestrian Accidents
- Slip and Fall Accidents / Premises Liability
- Wrongful Death
- Catastrophic Injuries
- Dog Bites
- Insurance Disputes / Bad Faith Insurance: Given the focus on advocating for clients who might have been "brushed off" by other firms, it is highly probable that Elkins & Freedman assists clients whose insurance claims have been denied, undervalued, or mishandled. This could involve property insurance claims, health insurance disputes, or other forms of insurance where the carrier acts in "bad faith" towards its policyholders.
- Other Civil Matters: While personal injury and insurance claims appear to be primary, many firms in this category also handle other civil litigation matters, potentially including disputes over contracts, consumer protection issues, or other areas where individuals require legal representation to enforce their rights.
A significant feature highlighted by client feedback is the firm's approachability, professionalism, and perseverance. One highly positive review specifically praises "Daniel" from Elkins & Freedman, stating he was "amazing" and heard out a case that many other lawyers had "brushed off" as a "lost cause." This suggests a firm that is willing to take on challenging cases, demonstrating a commitment to clients even when initial odds appear unfavorable. The review also describes Daniel as "helpful, trustworthy, and professional," indicating a high level of client care and ethical conduct. This personalized attention, coupled with a refusal to give up on a client's potential claim, sets them apart and fosters a strong sense of trust and loyalty. The reviewer's enthusiastic recommendation to "only recommend Daniel" and consider Elkins & Freedman "the best in the business" underscores a deeply positive client experience.
Another review, while stating the firm "wasn't the right attorney" for a specific need, still acknowledges their "understanding advising me what to look for specifically." This indicates that even when they cannot take on a case, Elkins & Freedman provides valuable guidance and direction, demonstrating a professional and helpful demeanor that prioritizes the prospective client's best interest, even if it means referring them elsewhere. This speaks to a strong ethical compass and a commitment to helping individuals find the right legal solution, regardless of whether it's directly with their firm.
For potential clients, Elkins & Freedman likely offers several promotional advantages typical of reputable personal injury and consumer advocacy firms. These often include:
- Free Consultations: To encourage potential clients to discuss their case without financial commitment, which is crucial for individuals who may be hesitant due to legal costs.
- Contingency Fee Basis: For personal injury and potentially some insurance claims, the firm likely operates on a contingency fee, meaning clients only pay attorney fees if a successful recovery is made. This removes the upfront financial barrier and aligns the firm's interests directly with the client's success.
- Aggressive Advocacy: The firm's willingness to take on "lost causes" and fight for clients against larger entities implies an aggressive and determined approach to litigation and negotiation.
- Personalized Attention: The review specifically highlights Daniel's attentiveness, suggesting that the firm values individualized client care over a volume-based approach.
The ease of contact is also a clear benefit. Clients can reach Elkins & Freedman via phone at (321) 587-0061, which is also listed as their mobile number. This direct line of communication simplifies the process for individuals seeking immediate legal assistance or wanting to schedule a consultation. Their presence in a major city like Orlando and their specialization in critical areas of law make them a relevant and accessible option for a wide range of local users within the "Nearby Lawyers" category.
In conclusion, Elkins & Freedman appears to be a client-focused law firm in Orlando, Florida, with a strong emphasis on personal injury cases and challenging insurance disputes. The firm, notably through attorneys like Daniel, exhibits characteristics of being helpful, trustworthy, and professional, willing to take on difficult cases that other firms might dismiss. Their commitment to providing sound advice, even when unable to take a case, reflects a strong ethical foundation. For individuals in Orlando and surrounding areas who have suffered injuries or are battling insurance companies, Elkins & Freedman offers a dedicated and compassionate legal partner, striving to achieve positive outcomes through personalized and tenacious representation.
