Reviews

  • Dyan Williams has been imperative in our I-130, I-485 and I-601 journey. I came to the USA in November 2019, and had sought out a B-2 Visa to do so. I needed the waiver of inadmissibility due to something from my past back in 2007. Upon entering the USA, I knew it would be a short 4-5 month stay with friends before returning home to Australia, however, the pandemic happened and my flights were canceled. During the time I was here, I applied for an I-539N extension and was granted a stay until November 2020. During that time, I met my now husband, whom I had known online for many years prior to meeting him in person. After spending so many months together, and still not knowing when I would be able to return home to Australia due to pandemic restrictions, he and I decided that we wanted to share a life together and took the steps to make that happen. Part of that process was finding an immigration lawyer that had the right expertise in order to assist us during that journey. Neither my partner or I have ever attempted such a feat, and had no idea where to begin, how to submit any of the applications, nor what was required of us. Dyan was referred to us by a friend. Her expertise is second to none. She assisted us with all the applications, told us which documents would be required, and submitted everything for us. In May 2023 we did a joint filing for applications I-130 and the I-485. We received several RFE (request for evidence) notices from USCIS and Dyan assisted us with every one of them ensuring they were submitted for us by the USCIS due dates. Dyan made it easy to understand the process and coached us through every possible outcome. My I-765 (Employment authorization) was approved first in June 2024. My I-130 (Petition For Alien Relative) was approved in September 2024. I was then required to go to an interview for the I-485 in December 2024. Dyan suggested that we find local council to assist us during the interview as we are in Alabama and she is in Minnesota. She had successfully been assisting us remotely this entire time without issue. However, we were not able to find a lawyer experienced enough or available on that date to meet us at the interview. I personally also felt that Dyan knew our case the best as she had been with us since the beginning and it would be better to have Dyan on the phone at the interview (if she was willing), rather than someone new, or no lawyer at all. Due to being unable to find a suitable lawyer in our area, Dyan went above and beyond to guide us to a resolution for this problem. Dyan assisted by clearing her schedule in order to be there for when the USCIS officer would call. The USCIS officer was also kind enough to call Dyan for us while I had my interview. Dyan worked diligently to prepare our I-601 (Waiver of grounds of inadmissibility) application and submitted it prior to my interview to ensure that the USCIS office had all the information they needed about my case. I had a permanent bar to the U.S. under INA 212(a)(2)(A)(i)(I), and had previously gotten the 212(d)(3) waiver for the visitor visa. But to obtain the green card, I needed the I-601 waiver, which is harder to get. I had to convince USCIS that my indiscretions had occurred more than 15 years ago, I was fully rehabilitated, and I posed no risk of harm to the welfare of the United States OR my U.S. citizen spouse would face extreme hardship if I was not admitted to the United States. Dyan helped us prove that I qualified for the I-601 waiver not just on one of the eligibility grounds, but on BOTH of them. In February 2025, my I-485 and I-601 applications were both approved. We are exceptionally grateful to have had Dyan see us through this entire process. We would highly recommend her services should you need an immigration lawyer. We thank Dyan once again for all her help and support throughout this long and complicated process!
  • There are many excellent reviews here and they are all absolutely true. Dyan quite literally helped me achieve something I thought was impossible. Before I found Dyan, I was told by every attorney that it would be impossible for me to ever return to the United States. If miracles existed, this is it. I found Dyan to be very strategic in her approach, supporting every decision with facts and evidence. This gave me confidence and brought the very best out of me and more. I cannot thank you enough. Every human needs to feel this level of happiness at least once in their life time.
  • It is without hesitation that I recommend Dyan Williams. She had a strong steady methodical approach to my immigration issues and has guided me to a successful outcome. Dyan is extremely detailed oriented and that is really what is required with these kinds of problems as most of it involves making sure everything is dealt with precisely and logically. Don't hesitate to work with Dyan as she will not disappoint you.
  • From the bottom of my heart, I would recommend Dyan Williams for clearing any major obstacle in your way for getting your desired visa, one of most honest and knowledgeable immigration attorney I had met and worked with when I filed my motion to reconsider. She stands with the facts and guides her clients to the best of her knowledge and understands the unique challenges of her client's circumstances, not only individually, but also in great depth too. Thank you Dyan for coming in my life. If it would not have been you, I would have never ever turned my dreams into reality. I had worked so hard for my Medical Residency, and I am grateful that I found you at the right time, to guide me through the whole process, right from the beginning till the end.
  • Dyan is a professional, personable, and extremely sharp immigration lawyer who will help you to the best of her ability while remaining honest and transparent about certain likelihoods and circumstances that may occur. Not only that, but she will position you to be in the best possible situation for success with your case. Unlike other lawyers, Dyan doesn't look at cases from one angle. She opens up all of the angles and will be the hawk eyes and listening ears of every corner of your case, making sure that everything on your forms is as accurate and strong as possible. Nothing is rushed, but everything moves in a timeframe that is very fast. Dyan handpicks her clients because she has high standards and is always just an email or call away. Other lawyers care so much about the money, that their quality of service to clientele is spread so thinly. Dyan is the absolute opposite. I came to to the U.S. on the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and had overstayed for over 3-years due to some circumstances outside of my control. If you know anything about immigration, you know that I was in a very bad situation and facing a 10-year ban from ever entering this country again. The stakes were high, to put it mildly. Dyan was able to dissect the case into easy bite-sized, manageable pieces that allowed me to file everything correctly, mitigate risk, and put me in the best position possible for US Permanent Residency. Today, the mission proved to be a success and I am a US Permanent Resident because of Dyan. Even while we are all dealing with COVID-19, Dyan always took the time to respond fast, provide thorough video conferencing to prepare us for what to expect at the interview, and made us feel confident of what to expect. From something as simple to respond to an email during early hours or just before midnight, to scheduling phone calls and coordinating our next steps, absolutely everything was on time and there was zero messing around, zero mistakes, zero excuses, and zero shortcomings from Dyan's end. Some people look past these little things, but they are ESSENTIAL in building trust towards somebody who has the future of your life and family in their hands. Hiring Dyan for your immigration needs, whether very complicated or fairly simple (but hard to understand due to there being sooo many important forms, dots, tiddles, and items needed for immigration), is a decision that will give you a significant edge in your odds for success. Don't think you "have it together" and can do this yourself, like I did 5-years ago and ended up having my forms turned back to me for something as simple as insufficient funds and then got nowhere for 3-years. Dyan will make a complicated process simple. She will do the heavy lifting so that you can have peace of mind about your case and one of the most important immigration decisions you will make in your life. I would say "don't cheap out", but even her costs are so fair and very affordable, that I personally think they should be increased in my honest opinion. So, hire Dyan NOW. Seriously! I am very grateful for everything she did. With the amount of knowledge Dyan has, you would expect any lawyer to have a built-up ego of arrogance. Dyan is the opposite. I spoke to 3-others before hiring Dyan, and she was the absolute most friendly and patient of all. It wasn't a "fad", either. It was consistent and genuine. She put up with so many nonsensical questions from my side and exercised so much patience and care throughout. I now have my whole life ahead of me as a US Permanent Resident, and Dyan was the lifeline we called to make this happen. My wife and I are eternally grateful and are convinced this is the best money we've ever spent. Dyan, THANK YOU!!!! We love you :)
