I had one of the best experiences with Dreyfus Law group. I can’t thank Tony Rebolledo enough for his diligence and attention to details. He was able to find a discrepancy with the tax proration and worked quickly to ensure the seller’s attorneys didn’t have an oversight of their work. Thanks to Tony’s great communication and attention to details we went from paying nearly 5k at closing to having the seller owe us money. Not only was Tony great but so was the rest of the team. Farisa made sure to explain everything and gave us the confidence to be truly represented at closing. I can’t thank the team enough. Highly recommending the law firm to friends and family.

If I could give this lawfirm 0 stars, i would. My family bought a house about 1 month ago. Apparently, the water was turned off about 2 days before the actual closing and the entire pipes of the house are frozen and busted up when we turned on the water. Now, this guy, Antonio Rebolledo, would not answer any of our calls because he is “not getting paid for it”. Like come on. We tried hard to get this place and now we are living in the house, with no water. Awaiting the next steps. 0 recommendations for this place. Poor service. 0/5 stars for this lawfirm!!!

Antonio Rebolledo is all about the money. His firm had the obligation to help us until 30 days after closing and he refused due to "not getting paid" we are now homeless due to his lack of caring and our new home we got is under major construction due to things that the sellers did before closing. He is also the Firm manager! so I'm sure the rest of his team have the same mentality as their unethical manager. I would not recommend this place for ANY komd of legal representation if they can't even close something as simple as a house

My family just moved to new home and their plumbing froze and got damaged due to the previous owners turning off the water during freezing temperatures BEFORE they moved in. They have provided all the documents they asked of them and now he refuses to call back, refuses to text back. They have been without water for 2 weeks! This guy's name is Antonio Rebolledo.

I’m extremely grateful to Cash and the team for their hard work on my case. Cash’s expertise and dedication were clear from day one, and she provided incredible support throughout. Thanks to their efforts, everything went smoothly, and my family and I are very thankful for the outcome. Highly recommend them.

This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Dreyfus Law Group, detailing its environment, known services, key features, and critically evaluating the provided customer reviews to offer a comprehensive perspective for potential clients.
The firm's address in Elmwood Park places it in a community-focused area, accessible to residents of Elmwood Park and nearby Chicago neighborhoods. Suite 100 in a building on North Harlem Avenue suggests a ground-floor or easily accessible office within a commercial complex. Such an environment typically offers a professional yet approachable setting for legal consultations, designed to make clients feel comfortable discussing their real estate transactions. The location away from the bustling downtown core may offer easier parking and a more convenient, less stressful experience for local clients. The environment is expected to be conducive to detailed review of documents and client discussions, which are essential for real estate closings and related legal matters.
Based on the provided customer reviews, Dreyfus Law Group appears to specialize heavily in real estate law, particularly concerning residential property transactions. Their core services seem to include:
- Real Estate Closings: Assisting both buyers and sellers through the legal process of closing on a property. This involves reviewing contracts, identifying discrepancies, negotiating terms, and ensuring a smooth transfer of ownership.
- Tax Proration Review: As highlighted in a positive review, the firm demonstrates attention to detail in verifying and adjusting tax prorations at closing, potentially saving clients significant amounts of money.
- Representation for Buyers and Sellers: Providing legal counsel and representation to ensure clients' interests are protected throughout the buying or selling process. This likely includes advising on potential issues like property defects, contract contingencies, and post-closing liabilities.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Expertise in scrutinizing real estate contracts and negotiating favorable terms for their clients.
Key features of Dreyfus Law Group, as suggested by the reviews, include:
- Attention to Detail: A positive review specifically praises "Tony Rebolledo" (an attorney associated with the firm) for his "diligence and attention to details" in finding a tax proration discrepancy, which resulted in significant savings for the client. This suggests a meticulous approach to legal work.
- Effective Communication: The positive review highlights "Tony’s great communication" and "Farisa made sure to explain everything," indicating that effective and clear communication with clients is a strong suit of the firm.
- Team-Oriented Approach: The positive review mentions "the rest of the team" and "Farisa," suggesting that the firm operates with a collaborative team, where different members contribute to client representation.
- Client Confidence: The positive review states that the team "gave us the confidence to be truly represented at closing," implying that the firm instills trust and reassurance in their clients during critical transactions.
However, the provided customer reviews present a stark contrast, which prospective clients must carefully consider.
One positive review states: "I had one of the best experiences with Dreyfus Law group. Highly recommending the law firm to friends and family."
Conversely, a highly negative review states: "If I could give this lawfirm 0 stars, i would. 0/5 stars for this lawfirm!!!"
These conflicting reviews highlight a crucial point for clients seeking legal services: experiences can vary significantly. The positive review praises specific actions that led to a financial benefit and highlights strong communication. The negative review, however, raises serious concerns about post-closing support and perceived lack of responsiveness, particularly when a new issue arises that might fall outside the explicit scope of the closing services. The claim that the attorney "would not answer any of our calls because he is 'not getting paid for it'" is a critical point regarding the firm's perceived commitment to client needs once the initial transaction is complete.
Promotional information for Dreyfus Law Group, based on the positive review, would emphasize their ability to save clients money, their meticulous attention to detail in financial aspects of real estate transactions, and their strong client communication during the closing process. They would likely highlight the personalized service provided by attorneys like Tony Rebolledo and the supportive role of their team. However, any objective introduction must also present the concerns raised in the negative review, which suggests potential limitations in post-closing assistance and a focus on billable work.
For local users searching on the "Nearby Lawyers" platform for real estate legal assistance, Dreyfus Law Group offers specialization in property closings. The positive feedback highlights their potential to ensure financial accuracy and provide clear communication during the closing. However, the strong negative review, which points to a lack of support for critical post-closing issues and a perceived transactional focus, necessitates careful consideration. Prospective clients should discuss the scope of services, particularly regarding post-closing issues and potential unforeseen problems, during their initial consultation. It is also advisable to inquire about the firm's policy on handling issues that arise shortly after closing but may not be directly covered by the initial fee.
In conclusion, Dreyfus Law Group, situated at 2040 N Harlem Ave Suite 100, Elmwood Park, IL 60707, USA, appears to be a real estate law firm specializing in property closings and related transactional matters. While a positive review commends their diligence and communication in saving a client money during closing, a contrasting negative review expresses severe dissatisfaction with post-closing support, particularly concerning unforeseen property damage and perceived lack of ongoing commitment. For local users seeking legal assistance in real estate, particularly for buying or selling property, contacting Dreyfus Law Group at (773) 327-3474 is an option. However, it is crucial to thoroughly clarify the scope of services, particularly concerning post-closing issues, and to consider both positive and negative feedback when making an informed decision about legal representation.
