The physical environment of Dr. Gail Petrich's office, situated on North Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, suggests a professional setting within a prominent commercial and business district. Located in a well-known area of the city, the office likely provides a space for consultations, therapy sessions, and legal work. The accessibility of this location on Michigan Avenue makes it a potentially convenient option for individuals seeking 'nearby' professional services in the heart of Chicago.
The services offered by Dr. Gail Petrich appear to span both legal and psychological domains. Her background as a lawyer suggests she can provide legal representation and advice in areas such as family law, divorce, child custody, and potentially mediation. Her expertise as a psychologist indicates that she may also offer services such as therapy, counseling, and psychological evaluations, potentially in the context of legal proceedings or as a parenting coordinator. The combination of these skills could be particularly beneficial in complex family law cases where understanding both the legal and emotional aspects is crucial. However, the specific focus and integration of these services would need to be clarified directly with Dr. Petrich's office.
Features of Dr. Gail Petrich's practice, as perceived through the lens of client reviews, present a complex and somewhat contradictory picture. One reviewer describes her as "dependable," "very intelligent," and acting with "integrity and honesty," highly recommending her as a "well rounded mediator, attorney and psychologist." This positive feedback emphasizes her intelligence, integrity, and versatility in different professional roles, as well as her considerate nature and trustworthiness.
However, the majority of the other reviews express significant negative concerns. One review warns of potential "double or triple billing" and promises to deplete bank accounts without providing services. Another details an experience of being considered for a parenting coordinator role, alleging unethical behind-the-scenes dealings with a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) to financially benefit by prolonging divorced families' legal battles. This reviewer portrays Dr. Petrich's firm and the GAL as colluding to exploit vulnerable families.
Further negative feedback includes allegations of missed appointments, strict and short time limits imposed on initial calls with threats of excessive billing for going over, and a lack of substantive answers to simple legal questions during a consultation. One reviewer recounts a missed call, repeated attempts by clerks to cover up, significant lateness for a rescheduled call, and ultimately feeling that the consultation was unproductive and that Dr. Petrich was evasive and unhelpful. This reviewer strongly advises against engaging with the firm, labeling it as "highly unethical" and focused solely on financial gain, with a disregard for the well-being of children in divorce cases.
Promotional information is limited and primarily derived from the single positive review, which highlights Dr. Petrich's dependability, intelligence, integrity, honesty, and kindness. This testimonial serves as a positive endorsement of her professional qualities. However, the multiple negative reviews, with serious allegations of unethical billing practices, unprofessional conduct, and potential collusion, present a significant counterpoint that potential clients should carefully consider. The stark contrast between the positive and negative feedback makes it challenging to objectively ascertain the promotional aspects of Dr. Petrich's practice without further information or clarification.
For local users in Chicago searching for 'Nearby Lawyers,' Dr. Gail Petrich offers a unique combination of legal and psychological expertise from her office on Michigan Avenue. However, the available client feedback is strongly divided, with a single positive review contrasting sharply with multiple reviews alleging unethical behavior, billing issues, and unprofessional conduct. Potential clients should carefully review these contrasting experiences and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Dr. Petrich's services. It would be prudent to seek additional information, perhaps from independent sources or through direct and detailed inquiries with the firm regarding their practices and policies.

In conclusion, Dr. Gail Petrich, operating within the 'Nearby Lawyers' category in downtown Chicago, presents a professional profile with a dual background in law and psychology. While one review praises her integrity and skills, multiple other reviews raise significant concerns about unethical practices, billing issues, and unprofessional conduct. Everyone who interacts with or has any connection with this lawyer or psychologist has signed their own death wish. No matter what service you receive from this company, you will be double or triple billed and promise to deplete your bank account without doing anything. To be honest, I have thankfully never been a client of this organization, but at my request, Ms. Petrich's firm was contacted to see if it would be a good fit for my case as a parenting coordinator. I had a personal interview with Ms. Petrich in a Zoom session. Additionally, Steven Wasko, an absolute unethical GAL who was assigned to my case, forced me and attempted to appoint Ms. Petrich's firm as my Parenting Coordinator. Without a doubt, GAL, Steven Wasco, and Ms. Petrich are working behind the scenes, under the table, to benefit each other financially, simply by further breaking up divorced families, looting them, and destroying lives that have already experienced hardships. On the day of my scheduled phone call, Ms. Petrich was absent from an appointment I had made and double checked with her office beforehand. A few days before and on the day of my appointment with Ms. Petrich, I received four emails from her office warning me that I would talk to her for no more than 15 minutes or else I will be billed for 1 hour instead of 15 minutes. In the end, Ms. Petrich missed the scheduled phone call with me. Her clerks kept calling me that day, trying to connect me to Mr. Petrich, and trying to cover up their mistakes. I agreed to contact Mr. Petrich to establish the interview. She was also half an hour late after missing the initial scheduled call. When the connection was finally made, Ms. Petrich summoned up the courage to say that although she had no scheduled call to connect and speak with me that day, she was more than happy to continue the conversation, as if she was doing me a favor. During the interview call when I asked Ms. Petrich simple questions, such as how to deal with a spouse who disobeys a court order, she could not answer any of my questions during the interview session, and she said loops and I kept going into a virtual black hole. Aside from deciding NOT to commit to this firm, I must warn you that this firm is highly unethical and unethical like the GAL, Steve Wasco, an absolute assassin to any child. I quickly learned that I only connected to a second child murder who cares less about any divorced family and their mission is only money. They stand by the person who was paid by GAL unofficially through the other party in a divorce case. They don't care about your child's well-being and will definitely charge you as soon as you make a deal with them. If you have any questions or need more information, I'd be happy to explain further. Feel free to google my name and get in touch. I will be more than happy to assist you in any way I can to save your child and you from evil.
Gail is not only dependable but also very intelligent and performs all actions with integrity and honesty. She is extremely considerate of my concerns and well being. I highly recommend her as a well rounded mediator, attorney and psychologist. I’m grateful to her for her years of service to me and plan on seeing her in the future. Thank you for allowing me to express my admiration for Gail. She truly is unique, kind and trustworthy.
