Dow Weekes Introduce

Dow Weekes, operating under the name "Weekes Law" in client reviews, is a legal service provider listed within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, with an address at 11576 State St, Draper, UT 84020, USA. This location places the firm within the Draper community, making it geographically accessible for local residents seeking legal assistance. While no specific details are provided regarding the interior environment of the office, legal firms typically aim to project a professional and confidential atmosphere. However, the provided client feedback offers a perspective on the overall client experience, which may influence perceptions of the firm's operational environment.

Based on the provided customer reviews, the primary service offered by Dow Weekes, or Weekes Law, is bankruptcy law. Both reviews explicitly mention bankruptcy proceedings, indicating this as a core area of the firm's practice. Clients appear to engage the firm for assistance with various aspects of bankruptcy, which typically includes filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy, navigating the legal requirements, and representing clients in court proceedings related to their financial restructuring. The service involves guiding individuals through a process that can be complex and emotionally challenging, aiming to provide debt relief and a fresh financial start. While bankruptcy is a highly sensitive and time-critical area of law, the reviews do not detail specific positive outcomes or the breadth of their bankruptcy services beyond the general scope of filing and court representation. However, the negative feedback offers insights into areas where service delivery may fall short of client expectations within this critical legal field.

The features and characteristics of Dow Weekes, as described by past clients, present a concerning picture. A recurring theme in the reviews is significant dissatisfaction with customer service and communication. One client reported that immediately after paying the remaining balance, their attorney "stopped being responsive" and "terminated our contract," despite unresolved issues indicated by "paperwork indicating there was something wrong." This suggests a breakdown in post-payment client support and a failure to address lingering case complexities. The client also stated being "treated with such disrespect" and constantly made to feel "as if I were crazy," which points to a highly unprofessional and dismissive client interaction style. Another notable issue is the frequent transfer of cases between "so many paralegals," leading to clients having to "constantly had to keep reiterating my case and where this case stood over and over." This indicates a lack of consistent case management and internal communication, creating frustration and inefficiency for clients. Furthermore, a client alleged a physical altercation attempt by an attorney in court after a disagreement about documents, which, if true, represents an extreme breach of professional conduct and safety. The firm is also described as "very expensive and very poor in every single category that you would require from a Bankruptcy Firm," with one client referring to it as "WEAKS LAW" and a "big waste of $2800." Concerns about poor customer service are echoed in another review, which mentions "poor customer service now" and the firm having "received scheduled 4 times now even tho obviously bankruptcy is time sensitive," highlighting issues with scheduling and responsiveness for time-sensitive legal matters. Overall, the reviews paint a picture of a firm with significant challenges in client communication, consistent case handling, and professional conduct, leading to a highly negative experience for some clients during a vulnerable time.

For local users in Draper, UT, and surrounding areas who are considering legal services, particularly for bankruptcy, the information available regarding Dow Weekes (Weekes Law) warrants careful consideration. The firm can be reached at (888) 818-9221 for both phone and mobile inquiries. However, the promotional aspect, in this objective introduction, must directly address the strong negative sentiment expressed in the provided reviews. Prospective clients should be aware of the recurring complaints about high costs, poor customer service, lack of responsiveness post-payment, inconsistent case management due to paralegal changes, and alleged unprofessional conduct. The testimonials explicitly warn against using this firm, with phrases such as "Don't waste your time!" and "Do not plan on doing your bankruptcy with them. They are a joke." One client even stated being "worst off after walking into their office." Given that bankruptcy is a critical and often last-resort legal option, the need for trustworthy, responsive, and professional representation is paramount. The reviews suggest that clients may not find these qualities consistently present at Dow Weekes. Therefore, while the firm offers bankruptcy services and is physically located in Draper, potential clients are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, seek multiple consultations, and meticulously evaluate client feedback before engaging their services for such sensitive financial matters. The consistent negative feedback regarding client experience, communication, and professionalism should be a significant factor in any decision-making process for individuals seeking legal assistance for bankruptcy or other legal issues.

Let me start by stating that I never give reviews. However, Weeks law service deemed such for the exception. Weekes law, they're very expensive and very poor in every single category that you would require from a Bankruptcy Firm. One of the attorneys that showed to represent me in court physically tried to fight me after a disagreement he and I had about documents. I was treated with such disrespect by the Weekes Firm and constantly made to feel as if I were crazy. My case was passed between so many paralegals that I constantly had to keep reiterating my case and where this case stood over and over. They basically took my money and put me in a phone tag matrix. At a time in your life when you need to trust in the information and the system in general, Weekes law becomes WEAKS LAW, what a big waste of $2800. I'm worst off after walking into their office. Just more bottom feeder in suits! I wouldn't even give Weekes Law 1 star, however I had to for the post option to appear. lol Don't waste your time!

Do not plan on doing your bankruptcy with them. They are a joke. I went through them 2 years ago and it was good. But now my mom is wanting to go through them and they have received scheduled 4 times now even tho obviously bankruptcy is time sensitive. They have poor customer service now.
