!!SCAM!! EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL save yourself the 7000$ headache. whatever they say they can do for you, i 100% promise you can do it faster yourself. i have stage 4 heart failure and even with a 6-12 month prognosis to live, with MANY documents from doctors, hospital stays, and surgeries, i STILL have been waiting over TWO YEARS for my disability and now that i’m looped in with this bllsht program, when, and if i do ever get my disability, i’m going to have to pay them for doing absolutely nothing… all they did was fill out the application and appeal, other than that it was apparently up to me to provide all medical documentation while i’m terminally ill… and every time i call, it’s the same BS “we are just waiting for a decision” not to mention, my “case worker” has switched over 10 times …. i see people on the streets getting approved for SSI for ANXIETY quicker than what i have been waiting for STAGE 4 TERMINAL HEART FAILURE! this place is a joke and i wish i never got looped in with them. i highly advise “working” with them. they won’t help you anymore than you can help yourself. save yourself the 7000$ headache.
BEWARE! These people charged $7,000 attorneys fees when my husband was approved on his first time application. We had 1 initial meeting with staff, never saw an attorney nor needed the attorney. WE DID EVERYTHING OURSELVES, all paperwork and phone calls and doctors notes and visits. WE TURNED IT ALL IN OURSELVES! Disability Center did nothing. Talked to them on the phone maybe 3 times total, and were told by staff, “do this” or “the doctors can get the records they need, we don’t need to do that.” Disputed their “fees” to Social Security, never heard back and they sent this Disability Center the $7,000 ANYWAY, no proof of what they “say” they did for us because they did NOTHING! Something is going on with this place and SS. Kind of scammy. We will be talking to an attorney about this place and the money they received that they absolutely did not earn. PLEASE BEWARE!
I was having problems getting my disability case approved once I got with this disability help center they collected all my information that was pertinent and crossed all the exes and dotted all the eyes that I needed for my case to go through the next time I went in front of the judge it was granted disability help center is a definite assistance in getting your disability case taken care of faster and more guaranteed than trying to do it yourself
To be honest, I’m appalled by the negative reviews for this place. Back in 2023, I was referred to the Disability Help Center by Balboa Crisis Center, and every person I spoke to on the phone was kind and helpful and attentive. Some of them even laughed with me over silly things. I’m not dismissing the other reviews. Maybe those people really did have a bad experience. But there are good people at the DHC too! They aren’t all terrible and they are not a scam. Because of the DHC, I won my disability case and was able to finally leave a homeless shelter. My life began again because of these people. I can say nothing but good things about them.
🚨 SCAM🚨‼️‼️MUST READ‼️‼️ Spontaneously I developed what's called unprovoked nocturnal seizures, meaning I get seizures in my sleep and we don't know why yet. Due to brain having a lot of trauma w/ each Seizure, I suffer from severe memory loss. Both short-term/ long-term. I depend heavily on writing everything down and voice audio notes. Which is why, I make sure to note down every single thing that has to do with my disability and attorneys, as well as medical appointments. When I was first diagnosed, I was given a support team, which includes a case manager. That case manager, asked me if I would need any help with filing for disability, since I couldn't go back to the office… I had an exemption from my primary doctor, from returning back to work. I said yes absolutely, I was very thankful. She then put me on three-way, and I was asked a bunch of questions by the third-party individual. This entire time, I was thinking that we were doing a three-way call , to Apply for disability. A couple of months later, I was on the phone with a disability worker from the Social Security office. She told me that there was no reason, to have an attorney involved.And I was very confused!! Because I never even knew that I had an attorney?? She then explained to me that sometimes caseworkers will get a kickback, setting up attorneys clients! I was let down, and felt completely Taken advantage of. Ultimately, I decided to just let it go, and keep the attorney. hi, how are you? Good how are you good today Since I didn't want to start all over the process of applying with Disability again. Here is where this office lied and took advantage of my memory loss again. It's coming up on a year and a half, since I have applied. The attorneys office told me, Candace the office manager to be exact told me, That I was denied, but that we are appealing it. I asked why I was denied?? Because that makes no sense… I literally have no recollection and go day-to-day as far as my memory loss! Just like the movie, "50 first dates". The attorneys office told me, that I was denied because one of my doctors failed to send in my medical records which leads to an automatic denial.. So this time, I have been thinking that it was my fault. Four months since my denial, I decided to call the attorneys office again, and ask for an update. The receptionist told me that the appeal is still pending. & that I will just need to wait. The receptionist is always kind and polite on the phone. Whoever answers the phone, it's not her fault that she works for a scam artist! I asked her a few questions about the Doctor Who failed to send in my medical records. She then transferred me to the office manager, Candace, who got caught in her lies. About the reasoning for my denial, she kept changing the subject. I told her that she's taking advantage of my memory and not realizing that I write everything down. She told me that she would send me a timeline of Events, since applying. I received the timeline that she typed up. Nowhere in that timeline did it say that a doctor failed to send my medical records. It said that the reason for denial, was because I didn't show up to a CA exam twice! So then they closed the case!The Attorney, never updated the Disability office of my PO Box. The Disability helps center attorneys office is supposed to handle everything for you! Which is why the client, the Disability patient, Would be paying them. When I asked Candace the office manager why they failed to update the Disability w/ my current information.She had no answers for me. Not that I have been waiting all these months with closed case. All of these months have gone by & I could have reapplied. I called back and left messages, I am not a loud aggressive person. I was very professional and monotone. Nobody has called me. I told the front desk that I wanted to With them representing Me. And to please have the office manager call me. I left a message, a week went by, & nothing. I called them back, & every single time called, They would pick up and hang up the phone over & over.
