They did help in filling out the application and filing my Disability application. However when my application ran into a roadblock due to my medical records not being sent to my case worker in a timely manner, they didn't help. I was the one making calls back and forth between my medical provider records department, the case worker, and Disability Advocates Group over several months. Never was able to speak to my case "attorney". Never received call backs. The only person that I spike to was their "receptionist" who didn't really have answers that I needed because she wasn't an attorney. The only advice that she gave was to keep calling my case worker and medical records department. I applied in March 2024 through DAG and I finally received Disability approval in December 2024. Several of my friends that used different Disability lawyers received their approval in a couple months, not several months. Honestly I appreciate that they helped in the filing process, but disappointed in the client customer service.
Thank you all …I couldn’t have done it without you guys… I was Denied when I didn’t have an advocate on my side. But with your help I won my claim !! … I never had a problem contacting you guys whenever I had questions and or concerns you guys responded promptly and immediately via phone and or my emails… 🙏🏽🙌🏾🙏🏽 I will definitely recommend your office to others in need…
What a great team. They E-Mailed me before I received paperwork from Social Security and kept me updated. My claim was approved within 6 months. Thank you DAG.
I had done all the work myself for my original application. It was denied so I had this place file the appeal. I called the ssdi office almost weekly. I also called this place numerous times and never once did I get a phone call back from my actual ATTORNEY at Disability Advocates Group, which makes me wonder if there are even attorneys doing these cases. I have called several times requesting to speak to my "MY ATTORNEY " and not once did I receive a call back from the person that the was the attorney for my case. My case was sitting on someones desk at ssdi under appeal for over a year, which was 7 years in total that I waited without an income. The ONLY reason my case was complete was because I called my local congress person and requested they look into my case for me. After I got help from my congress person my case was approved and closed in a month and a half, with no help from these people. I should have filed the appeal on my own as I had already done the rest of the work on my own. I don't feel the amount of money they got was worth it since the majority of the work in my case was done by me. If you are filling a new case I'm sure this place would be worth it, but if all you need is file an appeal, I'd do it myself and save your money. Unfortunately the help or customer service in my case was non-existent, I believe they said they called ssdi monthly but I called weekly and never received any calls or updates nor did I EVER speak to an atty. which obviously really bothered me as a retired court clerk of 28 years, that's not how you treat paying clients, at least not in my experience. If you are a paying client you deserve to actually speak to the attorney handeling your case and if they are too busy to call paying clients back then hire more attorneys or stop taking clients.
I pretty much did all the work, the secretary I worked with was rude and always in a hurry. I couldn't get ahold of my lawyer to go over my court hearing until just hours before the hearing. When all was said and done I feel they took too much money for the amount of work they did.
