Based on the available online reviews, client experiences with Mr. Lefkowitz present a nuanced perspective, highlighting both positive attributes and potential considerations for prospective clients.

The Environment of The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC: Professionalism with Selective Case Acceptance

The reviews offer contrasting views on the environment and client interactions at The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC. One client describes Mr. Lefkowitz as an "educator" who provides insightful analysis and even strategic guidance. This suggests a professional environment where clients can expect a lawyer who is knowledgeable and capable of explaining complex legal matters. However, this same review also characterizes him as a "lawyer for profit," implying a business-oriented approach where the financial viability of a case may heavily influence his decision to take it on. The reviewer's experience of Mr. Lefkowitz declining a seemingly valid legal malpractice case due to insufficient potential profit raises concerns about accessibility to justice for all claim values.

In contrast, another client expresses a highly positive experience, stating that they "knew I was in good hands" upon meeting David Lefkowitz. This individual felt that Mr. Lefkowitz cared about their situation, maintained consistent communication throughout the process, and demonstrated professionalism and dedication. The client was ultimately "quite pleased" with the resolution of their "complicated" case, which they explicitly identify as attorney malpractice. This positive review suggests a firm environment where clients whose cases are accepted can expect attentive and diligent representation.

The differing perspectives suggest that the environment at The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC, while potentially professional and dedicated for accepted cases, may also be characterized by a selective approach to case acceptance based on potential financial returns. Prospective clients should be aware of this potential dynamic.

Services Offered by The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC: Focus on Attorney Malpractice with Potential Selectivity

Based on the available client reviews, The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC, under the direction of David Lefkowitz, appears to specialize in at least the following area of law:

  • Legal Malpractice: Both positive and negative reviews specifically mention cases involving attorney malpractice. The positive review highlights successful representation in a complicated legal malpractice case, while the negative review details a declined legal malpractice case.

While the reviews focus on legal malpractice, it is possible that The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC, handles other types of legal cases as well. However, the strong emphasis in the available feedback suggests that this is a primary area of focus. The negative review implies that even within this specialization, there may be a threshold of potential financial recovery that influences case acceptance.

Key Features and Considerations for The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC: Communication, Dedication, and Case Selectivity

The limited reviews provide insights into key features and considerations for individuals considering The Lefkowitz Firm, LLC:

  • Potentially Strong Communication: The positive review explicitly praises Mr. Lefkowitz for keeping the client informed at every step of the process.
  • Dedication to Accepted Cases: The positive review highlights Mr. Lefkowitz's tireless work and research on a complicated case, suggesting dedication to clients whose cases are taken.
  • Professionalism: Both reviewers mention Mr. Lefkowitz's professionalism.
  • Selective Case Acceptance Based on Profitability: The negative review strongly suggests that the potential financial return of a case may be a significant factor in Mr. Lefkowitz's decision to accept it. This could limit access to his services for individuals with valid claims that do not meet a certain financial threshold.
  • Educational Approach: One reviewer noted Mr. Lefkowitz's ability to educate clients on their legal situation.
  • High Recommendations (for accepted cases): Mr. Lefkowitz comes highly recommended from trusted sources, at least for cases he chooses to take.

Prospective clients should carefully consider these points. While Mr. Lefkowitz appears to provide dedicated and communicative representation for cases he accepts, his selectivity based on potential profit may be a barrier for some individuals seeking legal assistance.

Always read the bad reviews first, especially for attorneys. Let me say this about David. He's an educator. He's not a litigator. He's a lawyer for profit. Not a lawyer for the people. I brought him a case several years back that was 100% a Legal Malpractice case. He gave me all of the talking points and even a strategy, but in the end, he didn't take the case. Simply put. It wasn't enough money for him. He didn't tell me that directly, but I work with enough lawyers to understand coded language. Lawyers have the right to take any case they want but I really wish the Bar would create some balance because when the validity of case is weighted on profit, it diminishes the credibility of the industry. You deserve justice whether your case is 5 figures or 8. Unless your case is worth 7 figures or more, I wouldn't take a case to Lefkowitz. For him, the justice is in the weight of the dollar. Not in the weight of the claim.

When I first met David, I knew I was in good hands, it was clear that he cared about me and my situation. David kept in contact with me every step of the way, making sure I understood the process. He is very professional and dedicated. My case was quite complicated, and David worked tirelessly to research every potential outcome. I was quite pleased with the of my conclusion of my case. David came highly recommended to me from trusted sources, and I too would recommend him to anyone dealing with attorney malpractice.

I hired David Lefkowitz in 1994 when he was with the top legal malpractice firm in Atlanta, notably the attorney Taylor Jones My friend's father paid $10,000 as a retainer fee and David settled my case for $5,000 without my consent. In addition, he had a clause written up that I could not get the $5,000 unless I agreed not to sue him. He told me, "The truth does not matter, only the burden of proof." He said this to me in front of his sister. I absolutely would not recommend him to anyone. I am still suffering from his representation 28 years later. It has affected my health and family dynamics.

David Lefkowitz is the premier legal malpractice attorney in the state of Georgia. His knowledge in the field is unparalleled. If you need a legal malpractice attorney, then you don't need to look further - you have found the right person with David. If I could give him ten stars, I would. He is the best.

I cannot thank God enough for helping me find David after losing faith in lawyers. He has helped my family so much, and I am sure that my life will change for the better since the settlement he recovered for me will alleviate the grand majority of my stress. I wish I could give him 10 stars
