I hired David to represent me in a landlord/tenant dispute. I feel David intentionally kept my bill under $500 to avoid the fee-agreement requirement of Massachusetts, and then did a poor job negotiating the matter in order to dispose of it quickly. At one point in arbitration I voiced my concerns over a small amount of funds not being escrowed that I felt should have, David assured me that if they weren't returned upon moving out it would be the best outcome because I would have automatic treble damages and attorney fees. This was the time I was being told if we didn't wrap up the arbitration the judge would take lunch and everyone would have to stay longer! Low and behold the funds weren't returned and David's opinion changed on the matter, he recommended that I represent myself in small claims court and said that judges really frown on people going to small claims court with representation. Only a fool represents himself, this is widely known.
David was an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s helped my family for years with real estate and today I purchased my first piece of property and throughout the entire process he treated me with professionalism and timely responses. Truly made the hectic process of purchasing a home enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend David to anyone looking for help with their estate matters.

Attorney Barber performed legal work for my company, and after a month of requests for documentation of invoices, has still not provided an accounting of more than $4,000 of time charges. He has not returned telephone calls or emails and has not returned the funds or provided an invoice. Highly dissatisfied.
