A huge mistake to hire Karl Friedrichs to fight my motor vehicle collision case. He is shrewd, unprofessional and very disrespectful to work with. He does not have your best interests in mind, does not ever follow up or provide updates, unless you call or email him multiple times - if you’re lucky, he’ll send you a one liner after weeks. And god forbid if you ask him any questions…. My case took almost 2 years to settle and the experience from start to end was nothing less than harrowing with Karl. Please don’t waste your time and money with this firm and Karl.
Took 16 months to inform me my case didn’t “have merit”, in a conversation that took less than 2 minutes, after calling several times for an update. Nothing about dealing with Karl Frederick was easy or respectful. Oh did I spell his name wrong? Couldn’t even spell my mother’s name right on the letter and DVD I finally received.Thanks for making an already terrible situation feel even worse.

Some of the nicest down to earth professional mannerisms and people you could hope for. Even felt better walking away knowing a case for my Dad isn't going to go anywhere, after talking to these gentlemen. Who knew you could feel better after really getting no where with the nursing home, state, other consults that just sounded disingenuous etc. I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. This is a long overdue review of my representation by Michael Ringold of a case of my mother having broken her neck in a nursing home facility. He was successful in obtaining compensation for my father, my brother and myself while avoiding a court appearance. The truly outstanding part of his representation was forging ahead with the lawsuit after my father passed away before the case settled. It was my father who most grievously was affected besides, of course, my mother. Going forward with the lawsuit was not as affective with my father having passed away, but he insisted that we should push on. (I should add here that Michael made a point of attending my father’s funeral.) It was a long process but we won the case. It has been a tumultuous two years having ultimately lost both my father and mother within five months of each other and then my brother and myself working on settling the estate. BUT I feel it is never too late to express my thanks again so future clients of Dansky Katz Ringold York will understand they are an outstanding law firm.
