This man is an absolute genius!!! If you want results, I highly recommend that you hire Daniel and his team! Without going into too many details, my husband had been dealing with a horrible, long, devastating, contentious custody battle with his ex. After many, many, many, many, visits to the court, seeing the same judge over and over, for about 6 years, getting no where and no results, we finally decided to hire an attorney. Thankfully, our family member provided us with Daniel’s information and so, we contacted him and oh boy, we are so thankful we did!! Let me just say, my husband went from having about 48% custody of his 3 girls to 100% sole (legal and physical) custody, in a matter of less than 3 court visits. I have been a client of Daniel Nishiyama since August 2010. We have had to deal with a he'll of a child custody battle and divorce. DON'T HIRE HIM. I didn't have a lot of money and just wanted to settle everything out of the court. No kids, my ex and I didn't buy anything together, I didn't want to ask for spousal support and only need help with legal document. With his help, my divorce became ugly and cost me tons of money. I met Dan and told him everything about the case, he made me see his partner and I had to repeat exactly the same story so his partner could fill a simple form that I could simply did it myself. Well, guest what? His office billed me for both lawyers to do "research" on my case. I repeated with them that I didn't want spousal support, his old partner said it was the law that I had to file for spousal support and it wouldn't do any harm. My ex got so mad when he got a notice from his lawyer that I filed for spousal support, which wasn't what we agreed between us. My visit was never more than 10 minutes but I got billed for at least 1 hour plus additional 2 or 3 hours "research" each visit. I got billed for $50/minute for phone call, mostly was the receiptionist called me to clarify my info or reminding me about up coming appointment. DON'T BE HIS NEXT VICTIM.
DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER! We thought we hired a good lawyer, but all he did was brag about his "Ferrari" collection (when he was driving a regular car).. he is self absorbed. He cared more about bleeding our family for money and when my mom kept asking for a breakdown she did not receive it until 2 months later. When we received it, he charged my mom RIDICULOUS fees. Even charging her the calls that the defendant was making. DO NOT TRUST HIM. It wasn't until my husband googled his name and we found out he was under an investigation for bribery with a dmv worker which was dismissed because of "no findings". He will be reported to the bar none the less. GOOGLE DANIEL NISHIYAMA... NO GOOD!!
