CSRA Probation Services Introduce

CSRA Probation Services operates from an office located at 9 Dunwoody Park S #116 in Dunwoody, Georgia. While listed under the platform category "Nearby Lawyers," it is important to clarify that CSRA Probation Services is not a law firm providing legal representation in the traditional sense. Instead, it functions as a probation and pretrial services agency, likely overseeing individuals who have been placed on probation or are awaiting trial within the jurisdiction of the local courts. The inclusion in a "Nearby Lawyers" platform might be due to its role within the legal system and its interaction with individuals who may also require legal counsel. The office in Dunwoody Park South suggests a professional environment within a commercial area, accessible to individuals required to report or meet with their supervising officers.

The available reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the services provided by CSRA Probation Services and its staff. One review provides a positive account of an interaction with a probation/pretrial officer identified as "Miss Hughes." The reviewer describes her as efficient and respectful of their time, which was particularly important due to their work schedule. The advice given by the reviewer to others under supervision includes punctuality, timely payments, and honesty, suggesting these are factors that contribute to a positive supervisory relationship with Miss Hughes. The reviewer also notes that past legal issues in another state were acknowledged but did not prevent fair treatment, leading to a satisfactory supervisory experience.

In contrast, another review presents a negative experience with a probation officer referred to as "the probation Lane." This reviewer describes the officer as disrespectful and unprofessional, alleging that the officer engaged in a lengthy personal conversation while the reviewer waited. The reviewer's attempt to interrupt the conversation via a phone call was met with what they perceived as a dismissive and unprofessional response regarding caller ID. The reviewer expresses dissatisfaction with their overall experience with CSRA Probation Services and states their relief at concluding their supervision.

Services Provided by CSRA Probation Services:

Based on the nature of probation and pretrial services, CSRA Probation Services likely provides the following types of services:

  • Supervision of Individuals on Probation: This involves regular meetings, monitoring compliance with court-ordered conditions (such as drug testing, counseling, community service, and maintaining employment), and reporting any violations to the court.
  • Pretrial Supervision: For individuals awaiting trial who have been released on conditions, this may involve monitoring their compliance with release conditions, such as curfews, travel restrictions, and abstaining from illegal activity.
  • Reporting to the Court: Probation officers are responsible for providing regular updates and reports to the court regarding an individual's compliance with their probation or pretrial release conditions.
  • Facilitating Compliance: Probation services may involve connecting individuals with resources and programs aimed at facilitating their compliance with court orders, such as job training, substance abuse treatment, and anger management counseling.
  • Risk Assessment: Probation officers often conduct risk assessments to determine the level of supervision required for an individual and to inform recommendations to the court.

It is important to remember that CSRA Probation Services operates under the authority of the courts and its primary function is to ensure compliance with court orders, rather than providing legal advice or representation.

Miss Hughes was a good probation/pretrial officer, she didn't waste a bunch of my time, important cause I'm always working. People, show up when your supposed to, preferably early in the day, pay whatever the amount is to stay on track or maybe a little more, all if u can. Be honest with her, she is not nieve. I had been in trouble in another state and they can see that but she treats me just a fair as can except. Then I keep it moving, see u next month.
