The features of Cox, Stansberry & Kinsley LLC, as perceived by past clients, present a mixed picture based on the limited reviews available. One client, Janet Cox (presumably a different individual with the same last name), offers a positive perspective, highlighting Ms. Cox's knowledge of the disability process, her ability to ask pertinent questions, and her understanding of how proceedings before a judge would unfold. This reviewer also commends the support staff, particularly Paige, for keeping her informed and ensuring Ms. Cox had the necessary documentation for the case.
However, another review presents a significantly different experience. This client expresses dissatisfaction, stating that Ms. Cox did not adequately assist them. Specific grievances include a lack of pre-hearing communication, failure to obtain medical records independently, and a perceived lack of advocacy during the hearing, which allegedly resulted in the denial of their disability claim due to insufficient evidence. This reviewer also mentions personally obtaining the required documentation and alleges that Ms. Cox did not utilize this information effectively at a subsequent hearing, again leading to a loss.
It is important for potential clients to consider both perspectives when evaluating Cox, Stansberry & Kinsley LLC. The positive review suggests that Ms. Cox possesses knowledge of disability law and can effectively guide clients through the process when all aspects align favorably. The negative review, however, raises concerns about communication, proactive case management, and the level of advocacy provided in all situations.
Given the limited and conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to definitively ascertain the consistent features of Cox, Stansberry & Kinsley LLC. Potential clients may find it beneficial to conduct further research, seek additional reviews from other sources, or schedule a consultation to discuss their specific case and assess the firm's approach and communication style firsthand.

In conclusion, Cox, Stansberry & Kinsley LLC in Birmingham, Alabama, focuses on providing legal assistance with disability claims. While one review highlights positive experiences with the firm's knowledge and support staff, another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with communication and the level of advocacy provided. Prospective clients should carefully consider these contrasting viewpoints and conduct thorough due diligence to determine if the firm aligns with their individual legal needs and expectations in navigating the complexities of their disability claim. Reaching out for a direct consultation may be the most effective way to gain a clearer understanding of their services and approach.

Ms. Cox did not help 😒 me at all. When it was time ⏲️ to go in front of the judge she did not meet with me, nor did she get my medical record to help me pled my case to the judge. Also I did all the leg 🦵 work by getting what the judge said I needed in order to pled my case. She did not fight for me like she suppose to in order to get me and her some money. So the judge denied me m disability and said that I needed more evidence. And I reported her to the bord!! So I went back to the doctor and got what she needed and we went back to her and she said that the information had to be fax from the doctor office 🏬 but I had it right there in my hand ✋️. She went back to trial and still lost because she didn't use the information that I provided.
Janet Cox is a good lawyer. She helped me get my disability. She knew what questions to ask and how everything was going to go in front of the judge. Also her assistants are amazing. Paige kept me informed in everything that was going. She also made sure that Mrs. Cox had all of my stuff she needed so she can present it to the judge. I would highly recommend them to other people.
When I needed counsel in understanding how to apply for Social Security Disability assistance, Jan Cox was so kind to give a couple of hours of her time with me to answer my various questions about whether I would qualify, and how the process works, etc. Her compassionate assistance was so encouraging that it enabled me to overcome my personal frustration and anxiety and complete the application process well, with the necessary time and effort it requires. Jan’s assistance was exactly what I needed to go forward and she gave this counsel free of charge. I was approved and I can’t thank her enough for her valuable encouragement to go forward with the application process. 5 STARS!!
Filing for SSDD benefits would have been a nightmare without the help of Ms. Cox. She was fantastic in keeping me updated and handling every aspect of my SSDD claim. My case was denied twice and went to a hearing. Ms. Cox asked all the right questions to give the best possible outcome. And…we won! I highly recommend this firm to handle any SSDD case.
I had been denied so many times and I had just given up! I was looking online and came across Cox Disability and decided why not. I received a phone call they quickly obtained my information and went straight to work. Cox and Stansberry made the process look effortless! Although I was denied AGAIN 😩 Mrs. Cox called me and said, “don’t give up” so I appealed. The wait for the decision always seems like walking in molasses but even this time seemed a little faster than usual. And that Friday I received a text from Mrs Cox stating the wait was over!!!!! I would like to thank her staff for being so patient and polite with my million phone calls and questions! Mrs. Jill, Paige and Shamantha. This firm deserves 10 stars ⭐️ And from the bottom of my heart Thank you 🙏🏽 Michelle R
