The "APC" designation indicates that the law firm is organized as a professional corporation, a common structure for legal practices.

While specific details about the office ambiance are not provided, clients can likely expect a professional setting where they can discuss sensitive financial and familial matters. The convenience of a local office ensures that residents of Inglewood and nearby communities have a readily available resource for information and services related to protecting their assets and planning for the future.
Based on the available customer reviews, Collins Law Group APC, led by attorney Caprice Collins, appears to specialize primarily in estate planning, with a particular emphasis on the creation of living and family trusts. The services they likely offer include:
Trust Drafting: Assisting clients with the creation of various types of trusts, including living trusts and family trusts, to manage and distribute their assets according to their wishes.
Estate Planning Seminars: Offering informative presentations and seminars to educate the community about the importance of estate planning and the benefits of establishing trusts to protect family assets.
Guidance on Asset Protection: Providing information and strategies to help families understand how trusts can be used to protect their assets for future generations.
While one review praises the informative nature of their seminars and the firm's perceived expertise in drafting trusts, another review raises significant concerns regarding the firm's handling of fiduciary duties and trust administration after the initial drafting phase. This discrepancy suggests that potential clients should carefully consider their specific needs and priorities when evaluating Collins Law Group APC.
The features of Collins Law Group APC, as perceived through the customer reviews, present a mixed perspective:
Informative Seminars: The firm is recognized for providing informative seminars that highlight the importance of estate planning and the role of trusts in protecting family assets. This suggests a proactive approach to educating the community.
Focus on Trust Drafting: The firm appears to have a strong focus on the initial drafting of trust documents, with one reviewer noting their readiness to complete a Family Trust after attending a seminar.
However, the critical review raises serious concerns about other potential features:
Questionable Fulfillment of Fiduciary Duties: Concerns are raised about the firm's commitment and ability to act as a Special Trustee, with allegations of failing to deliver on promised duties and resigning without proper follow-through.
Alleged Lack of Litigation Experience: Information from a former staff member suggests that the attorney may lack courtroom experience, potentially hindering their ability to effectively handle trust-related disputes or litigation.
Concerns about Post-Drafting Support: The critical review indicates potential issues with the firm's responsiveness and effectiveness when problems arise with the trusts they have created, suggesting a focus primarily on the initial sale and drafting rather than ongoing administration and dispute resolution.
Objectively, these reviews present a dichotomy. One highlights the firm's informative outreach and perceived expertise in trust creation, while the other strongly cautions against relying on the firm for trust administration and dispute resolution, citing a lack of follow-through and alleged inexperience in handling complex issues.
The positive review can be seen as a form of promotional information, encouraging individuals with assets to protect to attend their Family Trust seminar and consider their firm for drafting trust documents. The emphasis on informative services and the firm's perceived resources and expertise in performing this task serves to attract potential clients who are in the initial stages of estate planning.
However, the detailed negative review serves as a significant counterpoint, suggesting potential pitfalls for clients who may require ongoing trust administration or who anticipate the possibility of trust-related disputes. This review implicitly advises potential clients to look beyond the initial drafting phase and consider the firm's capacity to handle the full spectrum of trust-related needs, including fiduciary responsibilities and potential litigation.
For local users in Inglewood and the surrounding areas searching within the "Nearby Lawyers" category for estate planning services, Collins Law Group APC offers seminars and assistance with drafting trusts. The positive feedback regarding their informative seminars may be appealing to those just beginning to explore estate planning options. However, the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding the firm's handling of fiduciary duties and potential lack of litigation experience warrant careful consideration for individuals who anticipate needing more than just the initial drafting of trust documents.
Potential clients are strongly encouraged to conduct thorough due diligence, ask detailed questions about the firm's experience with trust administration and dispute resolution, and consider seeking independent legal advice before engaging Collins Law Group APC for their estate planning needs. While their seminars may provide valuable introductory information, the contrasting client experiences suggest a need for caution and a comprehensive understanding of the firm's capabilities beyond the initial drafting of trust documents.
In conclusion, Collins Law Group APC in Inglewood, CA, offers estate planning services, including informative seminars and assistance with creating living and family trusts. While one client found their services informative and expressed confidence in their ability to draft trusts, another client reported significant issues with the firm's handling of fiduciary duties and trust administration, alleging a lack of follow-through and potential inexperience in litigation. Local users seeking estate planning services should carefully weigh these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough research to ensure the firm meets their specific needs for both trust creation and ongoing administration.

I want to preface this by stating that I was not personally a client of Caprice Collins. However, my late grandfather was, and she set up his trust, naming herself as the Special Co-Trustee. She also set up a trust for my parents and several other family members, consistently listing herself as the Special Trustee. While she charges extra for this service, my experience has shown that when the time comes for her to fulfill those duties, she does not deliver. In my grandfather’s case, serious problems arose with the trustees, including theft and mismanagement of trust assets. My mother, as a beneficiary, was directly impacted, and I had to step in as her attorney-in-fact to protect her interests. When we reached out to Ms. Collins to address these issues, she claimed she had not been “retained” to act. However, her role as the Special Co-Trustee did not require any additional “retention”—it was her fiduciary duty to address these matters. Instead of fulfilling her responsibilities, she resigned from her position, violated the trust by failing to appoint a new Special Trustee as required, and abandoned her duties entirely. This left the beneficiaries to deal with the fallout on their own. I have since been advised by other attorneys, including former members of her staff, that Ms. Collins is primarily a salesperson who focuses on drafting trusts but lacks the knowledge or experience to handle disputes or problems when they inevitably arise. I’ve also been told she has never set foot inside a courtroom, which explains her inability to act when real issues occur. She overcharges clients for drafting trusts and making simple changes, but when challenges arise, she disappears. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against utilizing Ms. Collins’ services if you need someone reliable to handle trust-related disputes or fiduciary duties. While she may appear competent when drafting trusts, she has failed to demonstrate the responsibility, accountability, and expertise necessary to act in the best interests of the beneficiaries. If you are looking for someone who will truly stand by their word and fulfill their fiduciary obligations, Ms. Collins is not the right choice.
The Living Trust information and services presented were very informative. This information highlighted where my family is deficient in protecting our family assets. We were ready prior to the presentation to complete a Family Trust, but after this seminar we are sure this firm has the resources and expertise to perform this task for our family. We truly believe anyone with any assets to protect should make an appointment for Collins Law Group Family Trust seminar.
Title: Concerns About Caprice Collins' Role as Special Co-Trustee My late grandfather was a client of Caprice Collins, and she named herself as the Special Co-Trustee in his trust. When serious issues of theft and mismanagement by the trustees arose, Ms. Collins failed to fulfill her fiduciary duties. Instead, she submitted a notarized resignation, abandoning her responsibilities without appointing a successor as required by the trust. Caprice responded to me directly but did not post her reply publicly on Google. In her response, she attempted to justify her actions by stating her firm focuses on estate planning, not trust litigation. However, her role as Special Co-Trustee obligated her to act in the best interest of the trust, regardless of her firm’s stated focus. Resigning during a critical time for the trust was a breach of fiduciary responsibility. She is now attempting to have my review removed while refusing to address her breach of duty. Transparency and accountability are essential in estate planning. I encourage anyone considering her services to ask detailed questions about what happens if issues arise within a trust. See her response in the photos attached below
I am very thankful for my experience working with attorney Caprice Collins. My uncle attended one of her seminars years ago and trusted her with estate planning, including provisions for a child with special needs. I first met attorney Collins when my uncle passed away. She helped guide me through the process of handling the legal affairs. My surviving elderly aunt and disabled cousin were glad I had a professional to help me. I live out of state and needed to somehow balance my life between home, work, and traveling to California each month to make sure their needs were met. My aunt was a housewife and did not know anything about finances. Each time I called attorney Collins, I was greeted by Susan, always with positive and encouraging words. Also, they never failed to make space in their busy calendar to meet with me. Later, when my aunt had also passed, I moved my surviving disabled cousin to my state, until he too became ill and passed. I endured three deaths in less than two years. Attorney Collins was the shoulder I needed when I went to California to bury my deceased cousin, where he had requested to be buried upon his death. Again Thank you Collins Law Group staff. Magda O
I just attended an Estate Planning seminar with The Collins Law Group. It was very informative, and a tremendous amount of information was provided. I highly recommend attending a seminar/web in order to educate yourself, empower yourself, create and protect your assets/wealth for future generations to appreciate.
