They claim that the firm repeatedly asked questions and reiterated the same information without disclosing key answers that they reportedly knew from the beginning.
- Excessive and Unjustified Billing: The same reviewer accuses the firm of employing tactics to drive up the bill, such as repeatedly asking for the same information and assigning highly paid individuals to perform basic administrative tasks like scheduling meetings. They also allege being charged simply to schedule an appointment and that the firm billed "insanely" to allegedly pressure the client into terminating their services.
- Dishonest Practices: The reviewer further accuses the firm of engaging in dishonest practices, including lying and editing email timestamps and PDFs. These are serious allegations that raise significant ethical concerns.
- Lack of Diligence and Competence: The reviewer states that their "first grader does better legal research" and that the firm appeared unprepared for trial, ultimately withdrawing from the case right before it was scheduled to begin, allegedly to avoid "looking bad."

I just called with a high profile multi million dollar case and Mr. Caudle cut me off when I first started explaining and said almost nothing. He said he's got more work than he can handle and hung up on me. I can't believe how incredibly rude he was. He gets no points for being a decent human being.
Would give the 0 stars if I could. What I experienced was withholding of information and knowledge to keep you on the hook longer and asking more questions to drive up the bill. They keep repeating the same information and don't disclose the important information. The two main issues of my case they've known the answers to from day one. Tens of thousands of dollars later and they still have not provided the answer. They lie, edit email timestamps, and .pdfs. My first grader does better legal research. They don't want to "look bad" so they withdraw right before a trial. They have the highest paid persons scheduling meetings and other meaningless tasks so they can bill higher. They charge just to schedule an appointment. They bill insanely to get you to fire them.
I've used Caudle and Spears as our company and personal attorneys for many years. Their work is meticulous and accurate and I have complete confidence in them.
One of the best lawyers I have had the pleasure to work with. Will defineatly use them again.
