Carlton made my wife and I a custom lease to rent out our old home. He has been an invaluable resource, answering many questions we have had about our lease and how to deal with tenants. It seems he is almost always available. I highly recommend him for your lease and/or advice if you are thinking of renting your home.

Echoing other complaints about ethics. He needs to be reported for his practices. I urge everyone to complain through the BBB and the bar. He has no business taking advantage of people. He did handle my 1st case although, I really didn't need a lawyer, but there was no free consultation. Being that I was strapped for cash as a student, which he knew, and the law was on my side, I really could have saved the $500. The person was unlikely to go to court. He reports that he drew up another disposition for another person who he knew was out of state to an unknown address and who I clearly stated I did not which to sue. All documented. I have never seen his document nor asked for it.He's charging $300. Not sure how he sleeps. He's a reason why lawyers have such a bad reputation. He says he works alone. If he wants more money he needs to either take more cases or get another job. Not only are these unethical charges he's adding interest Also after you pay he ONLY replis through emails. Which is the reason why so many have complained about unresponsiveness. If you hire a lawyer and pay you need to discuss critical matters through the phone.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been trying to contact them by phone, message, email, and on their website but NO ONE RESPONDS EVER!!! They have a nice website and he remarks "call my direct line" but no one answers the phone ever and they never call back either. REALLY BAD SERVICE!!! It's that bad that they replied to this post 6 months later!!! And their response makes no sense at all. They don't know if I'm a landlord or a tenant if they don't answer the phone.
