The firm can be reached via phone at (704) 866-9191 or mobile at +1 704-866-9191. This introduction aims to provide an objective and detailed overview of Campbell & Associates, integrating its accessible operational information with real client feedback to offer a comprehensive perspective for prospective clients.
The Gastonia office of Campbell & Associates, situated on Cox Rd, implies a local presence that is easily accessible to residents in and around the Gastonia area. For those searching for "Nearby Lawyers," the firm's location offers a practical option for in-person consultations and direct engagement with legal professionals. While specific details about the interior environment of this particular office are not provided, reputable law firms generally strive to create a professional, confidential, and comfortable setting. This environment is designed to facilitate open and sensitive discussions between attorneys and clients, fostering trust and clarity throughout the legal process. The availability of both a standard phone line and a mobile contact number underscores the firm's commitment to accessibility, which is a key consideration for clients seeking timely legal assistance.
Based on the client reviews, it is evident that Campbell & Associates handles personal injury cases, specifically car accidents. The detailed review pertains to a car accident case, which is a common area of practice for many law firms. While the comprehensive range of services offered by Campbell & Associates is not explicitly listed in the provided information, personal injury is clearly a significant area of their practice. Firms specializing in personal injury typically assist clients with various aspects of their claims, including dealing with insurance companies, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and, if necessary, pursuing litigation. Other related services that a personal injury firm might offer include representation for slip and fall accidents, worker's compensation claims, wrongful death, and other types of negligence-based injuries. The existence of a Charlotte location, as mentioned in the review, suggests that Campbell & Associates operates across multiple offices, potentially serving a broader geographical area within North Carolina and indicating a larger operational scale.
However, an objective introduction must thoroughly address the client feedback available. The reviews for Campbell & Associates highlight significant concerns, particularly regarding communication and case management. One review, while acknowledging that Campbell & Associates is "a great company to work with," immediately adds a crucial caveat: "My only complaint is there’s not enough communication updates with client during processing time." This brief but direct feedback points to an issue with proactive client communication, a common point of frustration for individuals navigating legal processes.
The second, much more detailed review, expands significantly on these communication problems and raises additional serious concerns regarding client service and efficiency. The client provides a specific, lengthy account of dissatisfaction with their case worker, Erika, at the Gastonia location. The client states, "From the start I had issues with my case worker Erika. She was very slow to respond, claimed to never receive the information I gave her and then would come back later and said that she did find the information I sent." This indicates disorganization and a lack of accountability in handling client documents and information. The client further notes, "Did not bother telling me on multiple occasions when she sent something in the mail so I could look out for it, did not bother explaining much of what was going on with my case unless I asked multiple times." This illustrates a pattern of passive communication where the client felt uninformed and had to repeatedly prompt for updates and explanations.
The lack of communication is a recurring theme: "Most of the times she would not reach out to me unless I had messaged for an update." The client also highlights contradictory advice, stating they were initially told not to talk to the at-fault driver's insurance company, only for Erika to later instruct them to respond to texts from the adjuster. The review details significant periods of unresponsiveness: "I’ve been dealing with my case for 7 months now, and there were stretches where I wouldn’t hear from her for weeks at a time. One time I went a month without hearing from her even when I asked for an update." Additionally, the client mentions "very unprofessional hours such as 2-3 am" for communications, which can further disrupt a client's sense of professionalism and boundaries.
The culmination of these communication issues is exemplified by the botched check pickup: "There never seemed to be any communication going on either way. I signed the same final documents three times... I then with no communication from Erika for two weeks despite my attempts at figuring out when I could pick up the check, received a message in the portal on the 19th that my check would be ready to be picked up at the Charlotte location today 11/21. I get there, and it turns out she mailed my check this morning. So I wasted my gas driving an hour to the office for no reason, just to be told to come back tomorrow 11/22." This incident reflects severe miscommunication and disorganization, leading to direct inconvenience and frustration for the client.
The review concludes with a nuanced sentiment: "The Financial Director and the staff over at the Charlotte location are the only reason this review is somewhat positive." This suggests that while the Gastonia office experience with a particular case worker was highly negative, other aspects of the firm, particularly at a different location, may be more positive. This distinction is crucial for potential clients to consider when evaluating "Nearby Lawyers" and their overall client service consistency.
In terms of promotional information, Campbell & Associates would likely emphasize their experience in personal injury law, their commitment to fighting for client rights, and their ability to handle complex cases. Given the feedback, they might also aim to highlight aspects of their service that are more consistently positive, such as the support from their Charlotte office staff, or focus on their results rather than their process communication. However, for prospective clients searching for "Nearby Lawyers," the detailed negative feedback concerning communication, organization, and case management at the Gastonia office, particularly with a specific case worker, is highly relevant. While the firm offers accessibility and expertise in personal injury, potential clients should carefully weigh these reported issues against the firm's stated objectives and consider discussing communication protocols and expectations during an initial consultation. It is always advisable to understand a firm's internal processes and typical client communication practices before committing to representation.

Campbell and Associates is a great company to work with. My only complaint is there’s not enough communication updates with client during processing time.
The only reason I’m even giving two stars is because the staff at the Charlotte location have been awesome in helping me finally be done. My case originated in the Gastonia location before I moved. From the start I had issues with my case worker Erika. She was very slow to respond, claimed to never receive the information I gave her and then would come back later and said that she did find the information I sent. Did not bother telling me on multiple occasions when she sent something in the mail so I could look out for it, did not bother explaining much of what was going on with my case unless I asked multiple times. Most of the times she would not reach out to me unless I had messaged for an update. Before I was assigned a case worker I was told not to talk with the insurance company of the person who hit me, just for the insurance adjuster to continue texting me and me being told by Erika to respond. I’ve been dealing with my case for 7 months now, and there were stretches where I wouldn’t hear from her for weeks at a time. One time I went a month without hearing from her even when I asked for an update. When she actually would reach out to me, a lot of times it was very unprofessional hours such as 2-3 am. There never seemed to be any communication going on either way. I signed the same final documents three times. Erika then switched from messaging me on the portal to texting me from her phone number to go sign my final documents the third time at the Charlotte office. When asked by both Erika and the receptionist at the Charlotte office if I wanted my check mailed or I wanted to pick it up, I told them both I wanted to pick it up. I then with no communication from Erika for two weeks despite my attempts at figuring out when I could pick up the check, received a message in the portal on the 19th that my check would be ready to be picked up at the Charlotte location today 11/21. I get there, and it turns out she mailed my check this morning. So I wasted my gas driving an hour to the office for no reason, just to be told to come back tomorrow 11/22. The Financial Director and the staff over at the Charlotte location are the only reason this review is somewhat positive.
Not a good experience don't waste your time with these people they are liars and back track after they realize they got caught and I have all the evidence to prove this claim.Tbe do not care about you at all folks. They are rude and will not look out for your best interest period.I had to contact another law firm to represent my wife after figuring out these people have no morals or pride. We strongly believe this company sold us out to the insurance company and got caught doing so.DO NOT USE THEM PERIOD
Dawn was very helpful from start to finish of my entire personal injury lawsuit from my car accident last October. They did there very best to get me close to the amount of money needed from the other partys insurance. Mrs. Singleton was my lawyer and she was very good about answering every question I had before the back and forth started. Dawn was prompt with messages anytime I had questions or concerns with my case. Highly recommend the Hickory office for anyone in need.
Brad Smith and Brooke Travis are an awesome team to work with. When the Insurance Company refused to help they went straight to work helping me get what I think was a fair settlement. Not having dealt with this type of issue they were right by my side to explain every step that needed to be done. They explained it in a way I could understand. My case involved mediation and Brad did a wonderful job defending not only my case but my character to the mediator and the attorney appointed by the insurance. Both were very patient with me. These two are top notch and I highly recommend them Campbell and Associates.
