***I am an Individual with actual documented experience with this law firm. Cage & Miles don't stick to issues raised- they attack people instead because they can't defend against being called out for their unprofessionalism. Their response to my review clearly reflects their pettiness. I'm not an attorney, however, I'm pretty sure their response to my review violates the CA State Bar Code of Ethics. Trying to discredit my review based on false allegations is a violation of Google Policy. On top of being an unprofessional Law Firm, they disparage people who post honest reviews against their treatment. I am escalating this to the State Bar along with their emails and their response to my honest review. No business or law firm iis allowed to lie or defame any person . Shame on Cage and Miles. *** We contacted Cage & Miles in San Diego to inquire about representation for a family member. They scheduled an appointment and then abruptly canceled it after “reviewing the case,” claiming they couldn’t take it due to “ethical rules of the State Bar of California.” When we asked for clarification, they refused to give any explanation. That alone raised concerns for me. I’ve spoken with many attorneys, and all of them said that if there truly was an ethical issue, a general explanation could have been provided without violating confidentiality. The firm’s evasiveness felt dismissive and unprofessional. After that experience, I decided to do more research—and I’m glad they didn’t take the case. Many others have shared similar frustrations, describing the firm as disorganized, unhelpful, and even condescending. It seems I’m not alone in sensing a lack of genuine care or ethical consistency. Even some former employees have voiced concerns about the firm’s internal practices and culture. What really struck me was hearing that the firm has asked people to remove reviews simply because they weren’t formal clients. That tells me they don’t understand—or don’t respect—that people are entitled to share their experience, whether or not money changed hands. A review isn’t just about case outcomes; it’s about how a business treats people from the moment they walk through the door—or even before. In my opinion, this firm fell short in transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. I wouldn’t feel confident trusting them with anything important.
