Reviews

  • First, I would love to thank my Heavenly Father who was the one to allow this happen. I started my process with Wannamaker Law in September of 2024. And I Got the news today May 16 2025. Christian Soto gave me the amazing news that I got my work permit. He was very happy for me. Great customer service. I highly recommend Wannamaker Law office. Thank you ❤️
  • Avoid this law firm at all costs. They are a disgrace to the legal profession—negligent, unethical, and completely unprofessional. My brother paid them $5,000 for legal representation, and they never even showed up to his court hearing. Because of their absence, he lost his case and suffered serious consequences. After doing some research, I realized we’re not the only ones—many others have experienced the same abuse. This firm doesn’t fight for justice—they exploit vulnerable clients and vanish when it matters most. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Bar and encourage anyone else affected to do the same. They must be held accountable.
  • Very confused as to why I’m getting lawyers changed, got switch to a new one without knowing and he wants to charge me $3000 to remove deportation. But I don’t have deportation placed. I think whoever left him in charge of my case didn’t update him. And now the new one is trying to find a way to get money off from me since i already paid more than 5k for my whole case.
  • Great team very helpful i am so glad and blessed thanks you to all of you... hope on day I can meet you in person ...
  • Mr. Castro was helpful and answered all 9f questions in a timely manner. Thank you Kindly Juan Carlos and Aurora Hernandez

Wannamaker Law, PLLC, including its location, potential services, and a balanced perspective based on available public feedback, to help you make an informed decision about your legal needs in El Paso.

The accessibility of a legal office is a key consideration for clients, ensuring that they can conveniently reach their legal counsel. C.R. Their office is situated at 4171 N Mesa St Building D, Suite 500, El Paso, TX 79902, USA.

This address places the firm on North Mesa Street, a significant and widely recognized thoroughfare in El Paso. N Mesa Street serves as a major artery, making the office readily identifiable and straightforward to navigate to, regardless of whether clients are traveling from the central districts, the thriving west side, or even the rapidly growing northern areas of the city. The "Building D, Suite 500" designation indicates a professional office suite within a larger commercial complex. This type of setting typically provides a structured, discrete, and professional environment, which is conducive to confidential discussions regarding sensitive legal matters.

For clients arriving by personal vehicle, commercial buildings on North Mesa Street usually offer parking facilities, though it's always advisable to confirm specific parking arrangements before a visit. Additionally, various public transportation routes service major streets like N Mesa, providing an alternative mode of transport for those who prefer not to drive. This strategic location underscores C.R. Services Offered

Based on the provided review, C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC appears to handle immigration-related cases, specifically indicated by assistance with obtaining a "work permit." While a comprehensive list of all their services is not available, law firms of this nature often focus on specific areas of law that are highly relevant to the diverse population of El Paso, Texas.

  • Immigration Law: This is a clear area of service, as evidenced by the successful procurement of a work permit for a client. Within immigration law, services typically include:

    • Work Permits (Employment Authorization Documents - EAD): Assisting individuals in applying for and obtaining the necessary documentation to legally work in the United States.

    • Family-Based Immigration: Guiding U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents through the process of petitioning for family members to come to or remain in the U.S.

    • Visas: Assisting with various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications.

    • Adjustment of Status: Helping eligible individuals apply for lawful permanent residency (Green Card) within the U.S.

    • Naturalization/Citizenship: Guiding eligible individuals through the process of becoming U.S. citizens.

    • Deportation Defense/Removal Proceedings: Representing individuals facing deportation from the U.S. (though this is not explicitly mentioned in the positive review, it's a common service in immigration law, especially in border regions).

  • General Legal Consultation: Even within a specialized area, firms often provide initial consultations to assess a client's specific situation and advise on the best legal path forward. This foundational service helps potential clients understand their options before committing to a full legal process.

Given El Paso's proximity to the U.S.-Mexico border, a focus on immigration law is highly relevant to the needs of the local community. To ascertain the complete scope of services offered by C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC, direct contact with their office would be the most effective approach.

Features / Highlights

The provided reviews for C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC present a mixed but informative picture of their features and highlights. It is crucial for potential clients in El Paso to consider both perspectives to form a comprehensive understanding of the firm.

  • Positive Highlight: Successful Work Permit Procurement: One significant highlight is the firm's demonstrated ability to successfully assist clients in obtaining a work permit. This is a crucial service for many individuals in the El Paso area, and the client's joy and gratitude underscore the positive impact this outcome had on their life. The promptness of the outcome ("Got the news today May 16 2025" after starting in "September of 2024") suggests efficiency in this specific process.

  • Positive Highlight: Good Customer Service (Christian Soto): The client specifically praised Christian Soto for "great customer service" and for being "very happy for me" upon delivering the good news. This indicates that at least one member of their team provides empathetic and supportive interactions, which is highly valued in legal services.

  • Positive Highlight: High Recommendability (from satisfied client): The satisfied client stated, "I highly recommend Wannamaker Law office," which is a strong endorsement stemming from a positive personal experience and successful result.

However, it is equally important to acknowledge the significant concerns raised in the negative review:

  • Serious Concern: Allegations of Negligence and Unprofessionalism: The negative review explicitly labels the firm as a "disgrace to the legal profession—negligent, unethical, and completely unprofessional." These are very serious accusations that highlight potential severe shortcomings in their operational standards.

  • Serious Concern: Failure to Appear in Court: The most alarming allegation is that the firm "never even showed up to his court hearing," leading to the client's brother losing his case and suffering "serious consequences." This, if true, represents a fundamental breach of professional duty and could have devastating impacts on a client's legal standing.

  • Serious Concern: Exploitation of Vulnerable Clients: The reviewer claims the firm "exploit vulnerable clients and vanish when it matters most," indicating a perceived pattern of misconduct and abandonment, rather than a one-off error.

  • Serious Concern: Allegations of Widespread Issues: The statement, "many others have experienced the same abuse," suggests that the negative experience might not be isolated, but rather part of a systemic problem, which could be a red flag for potential clients.

  • Lack of Accountability: The mention of filing a formal complaint with the State Bar underscores the severity of the dissatisfaction and the belief that the firm needs to be "held accountable."

Prospective clients in El Paso should carefully weigh both the positive experience regarding work permit assistance and the serious allegations of professional misconduct when considering C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC for their legal needs.

Promotions or Special Offers

In the legal services industry, especially for firms like C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC, explicit "promotions" or traditional discount-based "special offers" are not commonly advertised in the way a retail business might. However, law firms often provide valuable client-focused policies and fee structures that serve as significant benefits and effective "offers" to potential clients in El Paso.

One of the most widespread and beneficial "offers" that many reputable law firms, particularly those in areas like immigration, extend is a free initial consultation. While this is not explicitly stated in the provided information, it is a very common practice. This allows prospective clients to meet with an attorney or a legal team member, discuss their specific immigration or other legal issues, understand their options, and ascertain if the firm is the right fit for their needs, all without any upfront financial obligation. For individuals in El Paso who are navigating complex immigration processes, this no-cost initial meeting can be an invaluable first step, providing clarity and direction.

Furthermore, for certain types of immigration services, some firms may offer a flat-fee structure for clearly defined services (e.g., a set fee for a work permit application or a visa petition), rather than an hourly rate. This can provide financial predictability and transparency for clients, allowing them to budget for their legal expenses more effectively. While a full contingency fee (where fees are only paid if the case is won) is less common in direct immigration services than in personal injury cases, flexible payment options might also be available.

Given the mixed reviews, interested individuals in El Paso considering C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC should prioritize clarifying all aspects of fees and payment structures during their initial contact. It is always recommended to directly contact their office to inquire about their specific consultation policies and fee arrangements to ensure full transparency and understanding before engaging their services.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

For residents of El Paso, Texas, when considering legal representation, particularly in critical areas like immigration, it is vital to evaluate firms based on their specific strengths and any reported concerns. C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC, presents a mixed profile that requires careful consideration for locals.

On one hand, the firm has demonstrated the ability to deliver positive outcomes in specific immigration matters, as evidenced by a client successfully obtaining a work permit. This indicates a capacity for effective legal work in that specialized area, which is highly relevant for many in El Paso, a city with significant cross-border activity. The positive feedback also highlights instances of "great customer service," suggesting that at least some members of the team are dedicated to supportive client interactions and effective communication, a quality highly valued by Texans seeking legal guidance. Their physical location at 4171 N Mesa St Building D, Suite 500, offers practical accessibility for El Paso residents, simplifying the process of attending appointments and discussions.

However, it is equally important for locals to acknowledge the very serious allegations raised in another review, which describes the firm as "negligent, unethical, and completely unprofessional," citing a failure to appear in court leading to severe consequences for a client. These claims, along with the assertion of "many others have experienced the same abuse," raise significant red flags regarding reliability and professional conduct. For any Texan considering legal representation, such severe criticisms necessitate thorough due diligence.

Therefore, while C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC may possess expertise in specific areas like work permits, potential clients in El Paso should proceed with caution. It is suitable for locals who are willing to conduct additional research, possibly consult with multiple attorneys, and prioritize clarifying all aspects of communication protocols, fee structures, and the firm's commitment to consistent representation. Direct and clear communication during the initial consultation regarding these concerns would be essential for any El Paso resident to determine if this firm aligns with their expectations for reliable and trustworthy legal advocacy.
