To offer a detailed introduction to Brown & Associates, PLLC, it's crucial to analyze the available information, particularly the feedback from past clients, which provides valuable insights into their service quality, areas of expertise, and overall client experience.
One client review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the firm's handling of estate planning matters. This client recounts a lengthy delay in the execution of a will, power of attorney, and a trust, suggesting a lack of proficiency in this specific area of law. Furthermore, the review mentions a subsequent consultation regarding probate matters that was allegedly incorrect, leading to the client seeking second opinions from other attorneys who corroborated the initial error. The client also raises concerns about the fees charged, describing them as higher than those of more competent attorneys. This negative experience highlights the importance of expertise and accurate legal advice, particularly in sensitive areas like estate planning.
In contrast, another client offers a positive account of their experience with Brown & Associates, PLLC. This review focuses on a personal injury case handled on behalf of the client's wife. The client praises the firm's effectiveness in negotiating with the insurance adjuster, who initially offered an unreasonably low settlement. Upon hiring Brown & Associates, the firm prepared a "demand letter," which led to a resolution within a few months, avoiding the need for a potentially lengthy trial. This positive feedback suggests competence and successful outcomes in personal injury law.
A notable feature highlighted in the positive review is the firm's client portal and accompanying mobile application. This technological innovation allowed the out-of-state clients to stay informed about their case by providing real-time access to uploaded documents and facilitating direct communication through messaging. The client explicitly mentions the convenience and efficiency of this system, especially compared to traditional methods like snail mail, and expresses a wish that such a system had been available during a previous divorce case. This indicates that Brown & Associates, PLLC. leverages technology to enhance client communication and transparency.
Considering these two contrasting experiences, it becomes evident that Brown & Associates, PLLC. may have varying levels of expertise across different legal domains. While the negative review suggests potential shortcomings in estate planning, the positive review strongly indicates proficiency in personal injury law. This underscores the importance for prospective clients to inquire specifically about the firm's experience and track record in the particular area of law relevant to their needs.
For local users in Charlotte seeking legal assistance, Brown & Associates, PLLC.'s location on Park Road offers a convenient option. Their presence in the community suggests a commitment to serving the legal needs of Charlotte residents. The availability of both a phone number and a mobile number provides multiple ways for potential clients to reach out and initiate contact.
The positive review's emphasis on the client portal and mobile app is a significant feature that distinguishes Brown & Associates, PLLC. in the "Nearby Lawyers" category. In today's digital age, the ability to access case information and communicate with legal counsel remotely and efficiently is highly valued. This technological integration can save clients time and provide a greater sense of control and transparency throughout their legal proceedings.
When considering Brown & Associates, PLLC., potential clients should take the following steps to make an informed decision:
- Clearly articulate your legal needs: Be specific about the type of legal service you require (e.g., personal injury, estate planning, etc.).
- Inquire about specific experience: Ask about the firm's direct experience and success rate in handling cases similar to yours.
- Discuss the client portal in detail: Understand how the portal works, the level of access it provides, and how it will facilitate communication.
- Request references or additional testimonials: If possible, ask for references from clients who have had similar legal issues.
- Clarify fee structures and billing practices: Ensure you have a clear understanding of all potential costs associated with their services.
- Schedule a consultation: Meet with an attorney at Brown & Associates, PLLC. to discuss your case in detail and assess their suitability for your needs. This will also give you an opportunity to evaluate their communication style and professionalism firsthand.
The contrasting reviews serve as a reminder that client experiences can vary. While the negative review raises concerns about expertise in estate planning, the positive review highlights successful outcomes and innovative client service in personal injury cases. It is crucial for prospective clients to conduct thorough due diligence to determine if Brown & Associates, PLLC. aligns with their specific legal requirements and expectations.
In conclusion, Brown & Associates, PLLC | Attorneys & Counselors at Law, located in Charlotte, NC, offers legal services with a notable emphasis on client communication through their digital portal. While one client reported a negative experience in estate planning, another praised their handling of a personal injury case and the convenience of their online system. For local users in the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Brown & Associates presents a technologically forward option, particularly for those seeking assistance with personal injury claims. However, individuals with other legal needs, such as estate planning, should exercise caution and thoroughly vet the firm's expertise in those specific areas before engaging their services. Wish I could give zero. It took him almost a year to execute a will. POA and a trust. He should have disclosed he didn’t know how to do one. Then,a year later he charged me $440 for a consult about what I needed to do when my daughter died, the courthouse said he was wrong and recommended I get a second opinion. 2 other attorneys agreed he was wrong. He charge much more than the attorney that actually knew what to do. Horrible experience, he is there to have his wallet fed with no regard to his clients. Find anyone else!
They took care of a personal injury case for my wife. I couldn't get the insurance adjuster to settle for a reasonable amount. They kept trying to underplay my wife's injury. As soon as we hired Brown, he put together what he called a demand letter and sent it to their insurance adjuster. The matter was resolved in just a few months. We needed the money and didn't want to go to trial because we knew that would make everything take longer. We were glad the attorneys here understood that we didn't want to drag this out. The client portal they have is a first for me when working with law firms. I've had a divorce case in the past and it would have been useful back then. You can see all the documents they get into the office as soon as they upload them. There's an app too. Since we are out of state it was good to be able to know what was going on without having to call or schedule an appt. You can just send messages through the portal and send and receive documents too. Great idea. Snail mail sucks! Thanks!
Gary was awesome! My husband drew the toughest disability judge in the area, but with Gary's help we won our case! We've been waiting years to get our day in court. Gary took over our case six months ago and yesterday we saw the judge and were approved! We could not have done it without him. Thanks Gary! If you need a disability attorney, Gary is the one to go with!
I don't even know where to start! I was in a legal conflict with someone I thought was a friend. It turned out she was a master manipulator and pathological liar. This firm fought for me when I was ready to just curl up in a ball and give up on the entire situation. There's nothing like having someone who knows the law fighting for you when you just don't have the energy to fight for yourself. Everything was resolved in my favor. Saved my career!
Barbara Brown went above and beyond in difficult circumstances. Professional, and knowledgeable I highly reccomend
