  • I am missing words to express how happy we are to have been referred Simon Offord when we faced an unexpected problem with the sale of our home. Although I was told that good attorneys are expensive, my conclusion is that relying on a professional like Simon is much more an investment than an expense! The rate per hour is very well counterbalanced by how fast and precise he is. He does not need much time to deliver results. His process is straightforward from the first consultation: he listens, questions, then exposes very clearly the legal *and practical* pluses and minuses of a situation. Simon was very responsive; he worked diligently with us and our real estate agents. Relying on Simon’s guidance significantly lowered our stress level and solved our issue. We are very grateful to Simon and his well-organized team at Brewer Offord & Pedersen LLP. Well-deserved 5 stars!
  • Had a very positive experience with the office manager Jessica and the lawyers Adam and Sandee. They helped review a residential construction contract. Appreciate their knowledge, attention to detail, and patient explanations.
  • Our real estate agents recommended Peter Brewer for an HOA dispute we had with the sale of our townhome. We worked with Adam Pedersen and Tracy Mainguy and had the best possible outcome! They were familiar with our case from the documents we uploaded and spoke knowledgeably about the relevant laws and possible outcomes. We developed a strategy together that helped us reach an amicable resolution with the HOA and close the sale of our home. We were confident going into our meeting knowing that we had great advice AND a backup plan, should we need to bring in Pedersen and Mainguy again. The fee was super reasonable too! Next time we sell a home we will consider contacting them about writing disclosures - they were great with helping us craft language to appropriately represent ourselves in our situation.
  • In October I walked into Simon Offord’s office after I had been threatened with a partition suit. After meeting with him I left feeling that he could help me as long as I listened to him and did everything he said. Since he was the expert and since I had a lot to lose, I made the decision to trust him. Well I am happy to say that it was the best decision I ever made. Simon is knowledgeable about real estate matters, thorough in his process, and genuinely cares about what he is doing for you. As of the first week in December I own 100% of my house, which has been my home since 1980! I cannot thank Simon enough for what he did. I highly recommend him for any real estate matters you may have.
  • I highly recommend the Law Offices of Peter Brewer. My husband and I needed to contact a real estate lawyer immediately when the sellers of the house we were buying suddenly tried to back out of selling us their property. Simon was amazing. He is extremely professional, competent, knowledgeable, and a fabulous communicator and letter writer. The time and effort he put into our case was above expectations. Though his work, compassion, and expertise we were able to resolve issues with the seller, closed escrow two days early, and got our keys to a beautiful home... all in one week. This would not have been possible without him and the Law Offices of Peter Brewer.

  • Investment, Not Just Expense: As highlighted by a client, engaging with Brewer Offord & Pedersen LLP is viewed as "much more an investment than an expense!" This suggests that while their hourly rates are competitive for their level of expertise, their efficiency and ability to "deliver results" quickly often lead to overall cost-effectiveness by resolving issues swiftly and favorably.

  • Transparent Fee Structures: While specific pricing is not publicly listed for all services, reputable firms like Brewer Offord & Pedersen LLP are committed to transparency in their billing. Clients can expect a clear discussion of their hourly rates (e.g., noted at $495/hour for some services on public platforms) and estimated costs during initial consultations.

  • Free Resources and Educational Content: The firm regularly publishes a monthly email newsletter and provides free resources such as e-books, infographics, checklists, guides, and brochures on real estate law topics through their Bay Area Real Estate Law Blog. This commitment to educating the public and clients on current legal developments offers significant value and helps individuals stay informed about real estate matters in California.

  • Highly Efficient Processes: Their commitment to using "state-of-the-art time tracking and case management software" and leveraging technology like video teleconferencing contributes to operational efficiency. This can translate to less time spent on administrative tasks and more direct focus on legal strategy, potentially optimizing costs for clients.
